Another mod: Swashbucklers! A mod on ships that allows you to transport cargo, where you can shoot from cannons, where the ship will catch fire and sink, where you can pick up cargo from the chests of a sunken ship.
I also recommend Alex's caves, it's an amazing mod with a lot of ocean features (it adds a mariana trench like place and a lot of new stuff along side it)
for the scuba gear, i personnaly use create which adds a diving set ! + soon when the aero addon mod will come out, we'll be able to make submarines! im sticking with create all the way
Theres actually a sick mod Called Eureka ( You need another mod called Valkyrian Skyes ) And it allows you to make your very own ships, you can search it up for more Info! This would be very fitting for this mod list
the last one instead I recommend a mod called "Deeper Oceans", this one showed in the video increases the sea level by 32 levels, Deeper Oceans decreases sea floor to 15Y in normal oceans and -25Y in deep ocean biome, which is insane. Just to make it clear, in vanilla Minecraft, normal ocean goes around 15 blocks deep and 30 in Deep Ocean, so the mod in the video does the normal 47 block and the deep one 62. While the one I said is around 49 blocks in normal and insanely 89 blocks in deep ocean biome.

There is another mod called Ocean World that makes the oceans much larger, and land is difficult to find. It also adds some extra structures to the oceans and ocean versions of granite and andesite.
Thanks for the video! I've been playing Minecraft since forever but I'm new to mods, so these will be a good addition to my world! Though I'd like to see a mod that adds trenches to the oceans or something like that. The Deeper oceans mod seems to do that, but I'd like more like parts of the ocean that can go to the bottom of the world, and some new deep ocean biomes/mobs with it. I know there's underwater ravines in the last updates, but it's just not enough for me. These trenches and new mobs/acuatic plants would add so much more life to the oceans!

Well, iirc copper is a natural biocide & what they'd do back then is they'd cover the hulls of ships with copper plates! This made it so barnacles & gunk & stuff didn't build up on boats! I think the Cutty Sark famously did it. Also, ever wondered why the bottom of ships are always red? Copper paint! (for the same reasons as above, except it's more practical) Plus it'd add a use to the practically pointess copper rn (whereas iron in real life, would get corroded or rust!)

Do you know if the Deeper Ocean Mod also work for Fabric? I can't find any information to compatability with that Modloader.
