I’ve been doing it wrong forever!!!! Thank God I didn’t ruin my machine… had a problem today and after many failures with bobbin decided to check with you! Thank you SO VERY MUCH…saved me a trip to get it fixed and a few $$ I was always holding the “door” open as I thought it was a way to hold the bobbin for inserting…wow…so glad I now know the right way to load my bobbin!!!
This video should be referenced in the instructions. I am an experienced sewer of 50 yrs. I followed the instructions to the letter NO mention of the firm push and CLICK. I knew there was something not right when videos especially when a click was mentioned in a few. It was only this video that showed the way. Jackie UK
Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! I can never get my bobbin in. I have the prototype machine before this model. It does not have that extra door to get to the bobbin. Your hands get in the way when trying to inset the bobbin. I didn’t know you weren’t supposed to use the “door” on the bobbin to push it in. I can’t wait to try it. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I do use the lever but I let go of it once the bobbin stars on the spool. Then I push it in and 3:19 it clicks. Been sewing well over 50 + years and side load mechanical machine is what I learned to sew on so nothing about them scares me.
Hello Boki, do all the electronic sewing machines made by juki, have the throat space height of 6 in. Like the TLC machines. Or is the throat space height only on the TLC machines ? Which I think is 6 inches ?
After I put the bobbin in the case, and then turn it to the side to put it in the machine, the bobbin Falls out of the case, like nothing is holding it in place. What am I missing? Thank you.
When I received my machine a few days ago, I tried your method. Big mistake for me. The bobbin fell into the machine and I had to open the bottom door to coax it out. I had previously watched another dealer from Australia and he used “the door” to insert the bobbin and I did the same making sure to give it a good press. Everything worked fine. The purpose of that “door” is to hold the bobbin in place so it doesn’t fall out when you are inserting it. I understand the “click” but I don’t think I will try that method because I spent about 10 minutes trying to get my bobbin out. And I didn’t even have the extension table on. Can you image how awkward it will be when I try to do it with the table??? I guess practice makes perfect and realize that if the bobbin isn’t in correctly, that would also use up a lot of unnecessary time and of course frustration
Is this the same for the 2000qi? I just got mine two days ago. The first time I put in the bobbin it clicked, now it doesn’t click. I cant push it in to make it click.
Very helpful, I'm shopping for machine now and thought side bobbin wb difficult as on my Kenmore. Kenmore I hold "door" open to insert. Maybe I'm doing that incorrectly. Hmmm This may sway me in direction of Haruka.👍
I insert my bobbin in exactly that way, but it never clicks? I have turned it, moved it in and out…sometimes it is in the right place and sometimes not, have to have a practice piece of fabric every time to make sure it is seated correctly before I start sewing…any suggestions?
I know the feeling. You must make sure the ‘door /hinge ‘ is in a horizontal position once in. Give a very firm push with your thumb. I got to the point of frustration where I tipped the machine up so I could see into the bobbin case.
Just in case you think I’m losing my mind LOL, here is the video from Australia and he does hold on to the ‘door’/‘lever’ but not all the way Bobbin info starts at minute marker 11:27 th-cam.com/video/Je6jS3Nks5Y/w-d-xo.html
Yes you can do both methods as long as you insure it's pushed in and clicks. Most of the time when customers use the door they dong push it in all the way.

Thank you for your help!
Thanks for the helpful video. What is the metal arm below the bobbin case? I can't find this info anywhere in the users manual?
Thank you. This was just what I needed to know.
Thank you!!!

make sure they're authentic parts. If not the fitments could be off if you want new authentic parts shop JukiJunkies.com
@@JukiJunkiesI’m using the parts that came with the machine which was purchased from an authorized Juki dealer. The parts are fine.

It should always click, are you using the little lever on the bobbin? If so you shouldn't. a

I just received my Haruka and I still hold the “door” lever. That’s how we did it in the “old days” 😂

Can you use the glide 40 for quilt piecing? Thanks!
Yes you can.
Thank youuuuuuu so much!
You're welcome!
Big help!
Silly question here…..am I supposed to bring my bobbin thread up when inserting a new bobbin?
That’s a personal preference. You can when you do needle down needle up or you can just start sewing.
Where is the part about winding the bobbin?
That’s another video
