Indian joint family life - My in-laws are visiting us in Kerala for the first time

This is the first time my in-laws are visiting us in Kerala, or for Mommy the first time being anywhere in Kerala. Lucky us, we got to start their stay by celebrating Daddy's 50 something birthday and I baked a surprise cake for him too! Maybe this is why they immediately fell in love with our house and the green jungle around us. :) Though in the first few weeks we didn't take them out to explore the nearby town of Payyanur with us because of quarantine. But it was so much fun in the house nevertheless. We kept ourselves busy with cleaning the house after a month in North India, playing games and doing yoga. Such proper quality family time!
