Surprising my father-in-law with his sketch + grandparents are a blessing!

- What an absolute blessing grandparents can be! The past 5 months we lived in a joint family with my husband's parents. In India, it is not very unusual for 3 generations of family to live in the same house, and now I understand what a boon it can be. They came to Kerala for my delivery and stayed on to help me recover from my C section. Now that they've left I feel like I have to deal with so much on my own. Having an infant and taking care of the household chores can be quite a task! So to thank them and to remind them of our time together, I made this small video. I also made a sketch of my father in law which completely surprised him and his reaction was priceless!

I think I had this quote in my jar of notes I gave to Vinod’s parents as a Diwali gift in their preparation to be grandparents! Love it 😍 cant wait for my mom to get this same kind of experience too! But at least she also loves watching these videos and of course her video calls with Annika ❤️

I stayed with my grandma and grandpa from 5 to 10 years of age coz my mom and dad were busy with their job...those 5 years were the most beautiful years of my life😊 now my grandpa is no more 😒,
I still visit my grandma frequently and spend some days with her.... Grandparent's love is very sweet .... Annika is lucky to have these lovely grandparents 🥰🥰🥰

You were blessed and still are to have grandma, I never saw either sides of my grandparents, and now don't even have parents, enjoy them as much love them, help them in any way possible their blessings are worth so much more then anything.

My son was born premature. About less than 3 pounds. My wife and myself were too terrified of holding him even because everything about him was so tiny. Then my mom in law took charge. Took him to her home with my wife and took care of him so well that he vere a bonny little boy on six months. Today he 14, his teenage pranks have started but , he always listens to his grand mom.

I look forward to all the emotional response that your baby instills in me. This video was especially effective in choking me up 😍, recalling my own grandparents love in my childhood. I grew up in a Scandinavian influenced environment in a small town in Canada, & now in my senior years, it means even more. I wish baby Annika to have so much more time with her grandparents. @@JohannaNorth Exactly! My 3 are everything to me. When my 6 year old wants me to spend the night with her...which is often, l sleep in a twin size bed with her so she can "cuddle" with me. My daughter says, "Mom, l don't know how you can sleep in that bed with her. I could never do it!" Lol. Well, l do it because #1- She wants me to #2- I worship the ground she walks on #3 Wait till you're a grandma, then talk to me! 😜 Just remember these things when you and Vinod are grand parents. And remember l told you so. ❤😘
