We have Tiffany and Justin’s hot rods out here and we start working them out and then we shred all the cars and a little shifter kart! So hold on turn up your viewing device and let’s haul ass!

My boy just told me he’s got brand new black leather/red stitch seats that match my car that I can have but they’re 4.5hrs away in Houston and I’ve got to have them gone by today.

I used to race at that track with my old 95 VR6 Jetta, then I moved to S.A. Teja. The track is bringing back memories.

I canyon run so I am well versed in the technique personally.. but if I focused on drag racing I dont think I would be.. not to mention I have had many experiences where I was forced to clutch less shift (broken cables) so rev matching is a requirement lol.. it does male for a fun drive though I totally agree
@@jmalin1975 I wish we had canyons in Florida.True, no need for heel-toe in drag racing. I just like to hoon, so heel-toe/left foot brake is normal to me too. My car is stock though, so clutch less shifting under hard load is a no go lol.
@@iNegroTv Heel and toe is for preventing wheel hop in Nascar and other series.

Those cars sound wicked the one with the x pipe I like the rasp sound it has a lot more throaty. Also with the karts the biggest thing to learn is turning in later and using the brake and gas at the same time still have to let out or fully let out depending the turn and the power band of the 2 stroke on the road coarse/shifter karts. Its easier said then done and it is easy to turn in to late as well. Karts are very sensitive and you have to be ready for anything a dip in the road or a bump from behind will throw one all over the place. Have fun Brent buddy and be safe! Brent i feel your pain on the heel/toe shifting, i got so annoyed with it i just brake, turn in and shift just as i am throttling out. Makes it a little easier for me when trail braking/throttling it a little since its not high enough in the torque curve to spin the tires, thats just my option with big ass feet, stock Mustang pedal position and aggressive brake pads that only gives 2” of pedal travel from free roll to full lock. Cool little cars and look like a blast

@@802Garage late comment but there's a guy from Canada who did a high revving vq with equal length headers I believe and how it sounds you would probably think it's a porsche rsr. Also the old formula Renault if I'm not mistaken used vqs at one point and they sound amazing too.
@@vickramgangaram2925 It's definitely possible to make a VQ sound good, especially the later VQ37 engines. Something about the VQ35 is particularly annoying. Having proper resonators and a basic muffler with piping that isn't too large is part of the key I think. Still great engines!

A Drag racer doesn't need to downshift or brake unless the race has finished. Brent is killing it though go hard or go home.

The brz sounds wayyy faster than it actually is if you look at the speedo lol but still a cool car.
I smoked a BRZ in my 98 DX hatchback, I just have headers and intake no cat, no muffler.

the J32A3 that's about to go in my 1k pound sandrail hopefully has enough torque....because my V10 swapped '70 F100 has loads of it...and FYI, the 2v 6.8 in my truck makes almost 100hp more than a stock J32.. soon to be getting 3v heads and MS3 EVO that's sitting on the shelf.
