  • Do you want to get to the root cause of your neck pain? Perhaps you know where it stems from but haven't yet found the solution for long term neck pain relief.
    Symptoms like TMJ, migraines, lockjaw and general neck pain/tension are things I often see with my posture clients. A lot of them time they attribute these to stress, long days at the computer and other things, but what they don't know is how to get relief from these symptoms.
    All of these ailments are a symptom of other things going wrong in the body. Dysfunction within our body can cause our necks to hold lots of tension in order to stabilise our heads. Through posture correction exercises we can get these dysfunctional parts of our body waking up and moving better again and bring long term neck pain relief.

      You are literally an answered prayer. I had almost given up hope on life and was doomed to a total spinal/cervical fusion. Once I’m mobile again I hope you can take on a U.S. based client!

      @@Stella.funyuns hey Sheila I’m so pleased I’ve given you hope! You can do it! I’m not taking on any 121 clients for a while (many of my clients are American!) but I am launching the next cohort of ‘the posture revolution’ on April 16th which may really suit you. There’s no need to be too mobile to do it - we take things super slowly! Probably the forth time doing these exercsies.
    The second exercise with strap on and then spreading toes, made my legs shake one by one and sometimes both together.
    Nothing painful but a funny vibration type of shaking from the hamstring area and glute area....😮
    I wonder what is exactly happening?
    Is it a good sign?
    Does this mean the exercise is correct for me ?
    Will the shaking stop, its a very light shaking, nobody outside could probably tell, but i can

      Yes it sounds like you've got the infamous 'posture wobbles' .. just a sign you're waking up new muscles and pulling your bones into a different alignment. Great stuff! xx

    Doesnt the neck have to be supported? It didnt look suported on the block? Ive got issues from head to foot. I tried sleeping without pillows bc of my posture being so bad but i found not having the neck supported was also just as bad. It felt good at first but then it felt like my neck was being pushed back. I worried that could be damaging to the neck?

    • @taliyahs1918
      @taliyahs1918 ปีที่แล้ว

      Also, I thought putting too many pillows under neck causes the neck/shoulders to be hunched ?

    • @postureellie
      @postureellie  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@taliyahs1918 Yes pillows are one of the reasons that so many people have stiff necks but you need to give your body the support if it's telling you it wants it. Many people can't just go 'cold turkey' on the pillows. The neck is strong, mobile and doesn't need to be protected or supported ... IF it moves well. Your neck 'pushing back' sounds good to me, like it is releasing into a better position but you know your body better than me so use as much support as your neck needs (with a view to reducing it over time) and stop any exercises/routines that make you feel any more tense! xxx

      @@postureellie Hi, ok. Thanks for replying. What do you think of posture correctors? I was thinking of buying one?

    • @postureellie
      @postureellie  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@taliyahs1918 They aren't something I would personally use (or endorse) because they are trying to fix a movement problem by bracing movement (so stopping movement). This in theory makes no sense to me! xxx
