And you probably either own your own home or have lived in a rent controlled apartment for so many years that your rent doesn't even come close to what the current market rates are. I don't blame these people at all for not having jobs because even with minimum wages of 20 dollars an hour you're still making half of what you actually need to put a roof over your head. And with wages being so out of whack in comparison to how much rents have gone up over the past 25 years there's really no incentive for anybody to work unless they're making over 100,000 a year. The richest nation, people keep saying that, but really? the 1% hold much of th eprosperity of your country, and the average Joes are just as poor as people from third-world country, but at least they got a simple home, these people do not have the simplest human right to live. The economic system, the liberal capitalism, has failed, and people still refuse to accept that or do not know out of ignorance.
This is not a local problem. This is not a national problem. Homelessness occurs where opportunity dries up and it is occurring in every country that embraced the neo-liberal policy of the 1980's. 43 years and we are watching the end game right here. Reaganomics has become a world problem.
Nice to see this place get cleaned up, but the sad truth is they will just move somewhere else. We need real solutions like getting the illegal drugs off our streets, providing real rehab services for these people and bringing back affordable housing.
The real solution is not to attract zombies to your city/state with handouts. They get more cash in handouts than I pay in rent, and I get $16 in SNAP(food stamps). They get $200: if they’re hungry, what are they doing with their EBT card?
Many of these people have skills: make them contribute towards their own tiny home and maybe they won’t trash it. Or is that against their “bodily autonomy “? wtf…
Remove their trash perhaps ! Set them up in parks camping grounds offer rehab for those that will accept ! Show them they are loved but don't keep tearing down the neighbor hoods because they are poor !
No matter how hard officials try, they are not going to stop progress. These energy and resource efficent camps are the future, soon the whole city will have a progressive population.
bingo! sitting around smoking all day feeling sorry for themselves or blaming corporations or rich people aint helping. get out and do what those business owners and rich people did. get a push mower, weed eater, broom and squeegee and go knock on doors $60 a house. 6 a day gives you $350 after gas. work 6 days a week and make $2k a week. after a summer you can buy a rider and trailer and small used truck and start charging more doing nicer houses. get $100 a house then. people here paying $60 a house just for window washing a 1 story 1500ft house and $60 a mow. They could in years time get $100 a house for both and hire couple their buddies to work for them. but thats too much effort. they want someone else to struggle for them and work for free.
Where are they moving to, a few blocks away? There was a relatively small tent encampment in a flat grass field off one of the freeways here in Dallas in between to commercial business. I saw about 20 tents as I drove by. Week or so later when I went by they were all gone and the grass field had been flooded at least a foot deep from what I could tell. It worked. I guess the businesses took it into their own hands.
I don't like seeing people upset but maybe with them being less comfortable trashing up our streets, they will get the point this isn't ok to do here. Do this more frequently.
Does anyone know where they all get the really nice shoes? Someone must be donating them, but just wondering because everyone has on $100 pair of shoes.
It is about time for this city do somethings about these homless issues, America is the best country, these people make this country to be shameful and dirty.
Why don't the police confiscate the stolen shopping carts that these people use for moving their junk? Shopping carts cost anywhere from $197.00 to $365.00.
I am in agreement although that is a bit metaphorical. The issue is the elected officials that are voted in and given authority by the people, so in reality the people are responsible. As William Shaw said people get the politicians they deserve. If the people don't like what the politicians are doing they can always vote them out and get someone that will better suit their needs.

They’re homeless.. yet they own scooters, motorbikes, skateboards, plenty of bicycles.. yet they can get a job and get out of that situation.. Once a homeowner or a tenant makes a complaint, the city should address it.. not let it escalate.. vans, motor homes with expired plates, no insurance.. should be removed!
Thank you to the City of LA, public works, law enforcement and everyone who helping to do this. We are all tired of living with the danger, filth and crime that comes with addicts and mentally ill living on the streets with no accountability. We don't want our city to go down like SF and Portland. Most of us have worked hard to live here for a lifetime, and imagine those people in those apartments right there? We do need more treatment centers but many refuse to do the work required to stay sober so this is on them. Why would anyone get sober if we let them do this? No wonder addiction has sky rocketed. We do have homeless shelters and places for displaced seniors and families with kids. No one was put out during Covid either and that made this seem OK. This is not a planned scheme from rich people, this is reality we all have to work or contribute to live here. Let's try to be in reality people.
They shouldn’t notify them and just throw that shit away because all that’s happening is they are moving the stuff somewhere else! They are not getting anywhere with this!
American give BILLIONS of $$$$$$$ to other countries. That is a very good thing to do. Our First Priority however should be to help the American People here in the United States - to help those who perhaps for different reasons have become homeless. A lot of them are now staying on the streets which is of course breaking the laws and they end up losing their stuff in such Cleanups. Americans on Corporate Level and Private Level and also on Government Level should build Shelter Homes for people who can work and then stay in these Shelter Homes. Here they can Sleep, clean up, Cook and Eat and Socialize with other people using the Shelter Homes. Shelter Homes should be made of different sizes to accommodate 40 to 400 people each. Government should provide land and others should provide discounted Utilities, Internet, and other services. There can be Shelter Homes with different sizes individual units for families and for singles or couples. Doctors and Dentist organizations should be encouraged to provide discounted service to these people. The government may start a Fund so that private citizens can also participate in such good programs. We should also build Skill Centers and Trade Schools in more areas to give vocational training to our adults and Seniors, especially our Veterans. There are many things we can do for our homeless people. They are good people, they are in a situation where they need some guidance and support, and encouragement. And, after we have done enough for our own people, we can surely share some of our wealth with others.
Mental ward? Wow! I hope you have to experience homelessness at some point in your life. Everyone of homeless people have a story and they're not all 'mental' I pray God helps your hard heart 🙏

I sewe alot of stolen properties out there
Is this the proud America I can't believe I'm seeing this
It’s about time California 😊
The politicians that created this mess should be made to go out & clean this shit up!!!
Where will these people go? Will anything be resolved?
The homeless all need to dump their stuff in the garbage trucks and be given plane tickets to NYC. Adams has plenty of space for illegal immigrants. US citizens must come first. No street camping, tents - time is up Democrats. They had millions to fund the solution.
@@gregdrivesdriver5104 Yes, we have a real problem.
Most homeless don't want help with shelters, they refuse to follow rules, drug addiction causes this, there are no conservatership laws that place mentally unstable individuals bc liberals don't want change
How about: quit feeding a begging dog… I was homeless, I didnt live like this.
Why are they disposing those shopping carts? Why not call the store they were stolen from so they can come get them?
I agree, those carts are not cheap. Some stores now have carts if taken off of their lot will cause the wheels to lock up.
They are too FILTHY...I don't want to put my clothes in one or my food....
Would cost more money between transportation, locating the shopping store, and then cleaning and repair of the cards before they could be put in use
the best , not only better
Our government has allowed this situation 😖🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
They closed so so many military bases why not use all that abundant empty land and empty housing and buildings for the homeless
Help the mentally handicapped
And the physical handicapped
Bring in welfare
Bring in a treatment center
Bring in a hospital
And a jail...for those who choose
To be unstable and choose drugs
No more excuses enough is enough
Our government has got to help
Those who are elderly to stay in there homes...
Help those who need help financially
Stay in there home's....
WE HAVE GOT TO MAKE THIS COUNTRY GREAT AGAIN 🇺🇸👍💞
OK, gals and pals! The weekly maid service is here to clean your room. After that, you can move right back in.
The Billion Dollar Homeless Industrial Complex
Life goes on
That one guy on the skateboard is in almost every video moving all his useless junk from place to place. Acting all pissed off because he has to move. And those people in that trashed camper looking all pissed off. If I lived on that street I would be mad that they trashed the neighborhood!
I wanted to say that about skateboard bro too. He said, "you're not even supposed to be here" to the cleanup people. Really??? Really???
I noticed the skateboard dude had several bikes and a sweet drone.
🎉thanks .I want same clinic.
They will just go back to the same place again & say a big thankyou to the city for cleaning all that shit up ! 😮 😠 😡
Look up the strength of that guy, my goodness!! he can go and harvest vegetables in Florida 24/7, for heaven sake!!
They do this everyday in Santa Ana and it's still not enough!
WOW AMERICAN DREAM YES❤
Workers could move a little faster. I never saw so many clean up so little.
lol Sanitary engineers 4 to watch, one to dump, one to rake, one to drive, one to take pictures for the lawyers!. 6 cops? One the working undercover for sure.. :) Fire any with their hands in their pockets - what do they think they are , Politicians?
Slower than molasses in winter time 🤣
Well...its about time!!!
This is quite sad indeed. It’s a shame that something like this has to happen within the richest nation in the world.😢
Its not sad it’s pathetic
The richest nation, people keep saying that, but really? the 1% hold much of th eprosperity of your country, and the average Joes are just as poor as people from third-world country, but at least they got a simple home, these people do not have the simplest human right to live. The economic system, the liberal capitalism, has failed, and people still refuse to accept that or do not know out of ignorance.
This happens when you have politicians "care" more about other countries' affairs than their own citizens'
Don't be sad, you have the best government to print more money to those in need!
This is not a local problem. This is not a national problem. Homelessness occurs where opportunity dries up and it is occurring in every country that embraced the neo-liberal policy of the 1980's. 43 years and we are watching the end game right here. Reaganomics has become a world problem.
Great😮😮😮😮
Nice to see this place get cleaned up, but the sad truth is they will just move somewhere else.
Fabian your the best thanks
No matter how hard officials try, they are not going to stop progress. These energy and resource efficent camps are the future, soon the whole city will have a progressive population.
At least something is starting to get done. I am SICK of this homeless mess that has been going on forever.
Believe me I bet you you are one paycheck away from being in the same
@@MrPeterHaller No. I'm not bragging, but my bank account says I will never be homeless.
The capital city of the wealthiest state in the wealthiest country in the world.
Never ending clean up 😞 sad😔 😢
Landlords dump items from evictions on the burb, these homeless find it, fine the landlords.
Alright everyone. Load up your 🛒 and head out 👮🚓
Law enforcement, limited to cleanup patrol. It's pretty evident they're not allowed to do much else.
Those shopping cart are about 500$ a pop. They belong to
I the store!
These people don't have pride in themselves and they use any explanation to make their situation seem like they have a reason for what they are doing.
bingo! sitting around smoking all day feeling sorry for themselves or blaming corporations or rich people aint helping. get out and do what those business owners and rich people did. get a push mower, weed eater, broom and squeegee and go knock on doors $60 a house.
Get to work lazy workers
Where are they moving to, a few blocks away? There was a relatively small tent encampment in a flat grass field off one of the freeways here in Dallas in between to commercial business. I saw about 20 tents as I drove by. Week or so later when I went by they were all gone and the grass field had been flooded at least a foot deep from what I could tell. It worked. I guess the businesses took it into their own hands.
Are they gonna move up the street. Wow right in the neighborhood.
Always the same handful of cops doing the dirty and unpleasant work. Respect & Love. ❤🙏🏼
I have a job and rent a house and these folks have more furniture and crap lying around than I do in a whole house.
You can tell there city workers cleaning up the camp(THANKS), one man working five standing around.
I don't like seeing people upset but maybe with them being less comfortable trashing up our streets, they will get the point this isn't ok to do here. Do this more frequently.
Those officers need to wear GLOVES and MASKS during this entire operation. !!
Avoid injuries and serious illnesses.
Does anyone know where they all get the really nice shoes? Someone must be donating them, but just wondering because everyone has on $100 pair of shoes.
They take them from the store, police have been told not to arrest.
It is about time for this city do somethings about these homless issues, America is the best country, these people make this country to be shameful and dirty.
Why don't the police confiscate the stolen shopping carts that these people use for moving their junk? Shopping carts cost anywhere from $197.00 to $365.00.
Gavin Newsom must be running for President.
very good !
its about freakin time ! politicians need to grow some balls and take care of business!
Unfortunately in the state of California the politicians are democrats so they only take care of them selfs.
No we need to get rid of the politicians that have allowed this situation to be created
Those shopping carts could have been delivered to their rightful stores
I can't believe they are actually enforcing these rules. Unbelievable.
If you paid $17,000 a year in property taxes and $15,000 a year in state income taxes you'd understand
If you want the streets lined with trash go live in newark nj
@@neinkalando2519 You simple one.. You do know that is to cover the Government employees Salaries. Pension Funds. Premium Medical etc... And being half the State is Government Employees. You pay higher taxes just for that...And the State is still under funded their Pension funds by $200 Billion US...Then you paid $150 Billion to train that doesn't even exist yet...
Why California was the Richest State. Now it's shit hole. As Democrats are like a parasite. They invade the host. then when it dies. They look for a new one to support them...As the same thing happen to Flint, Michigan. Detroit. Chicago etc..
Unbelievable seriously,,,, they have no respect for other people they leave all there crap in the street, block the side walk and leave garbage everywhere
They will just set up camp somewhere else then go back and forth
Gavin Newsom's Housing Projects, world greatest Governor.
I find only in the warmer climates do the homeless collect so much trash. In the cold they're just worried about eating and a place to sleep, they don't carry garbage with them
It is interesting to see them get their act together and become motivated when the cops and trash trucks come rolling down the street.
if they worked like that all the time they wouldnt be homeless
It is always the same 5 or 6 cops, all of which have a couple of stripes. Who do you have to have pissed off to be permanently assigned to homeless cleanup baby sitting?
Building is hard. Tearing down is easy. Cleaning up takes a lot of work. Filling up the streets with garbage and human feces takes no time at all. I am writing 10 days after this video was taken. I would love to see that the streets look like now. I will bet that by now it looks exactly the way it did before the cleanup, except, with fresher human feces of course.
😂 fresher 💩
They’re homeless.. yet they own scooters, motorbikes, skateboards, plenty of bicycles.. yet they can get a job and get out of that situation.. Once a homeowner or a tenant makes a complaint, the city should address it.. not let it escalate.. vans, motor homes with expired plates, no insurance.. should be removed!
Always the same people, they were also living in the restroom and on the boardwalk, its easier to get rid of these same people
They'll be right back
Thank you to the City of LA, public works, law enforcement and everyone who helping to do this.
A good way to hire homeless people.
Shuffling the outdoor mental ward around again!
because they allowed outdoor to become indoor.
