I kept my 43x stock for a few years now and always wanted to keep it that way. But recently, I have been upgrading a few things and really enjoying it. I'm not sure why there's so much hate over adjusting perfection in a Glock.
People just hyperfocus on literacy too much when it comes to branding. It's an marketing strategy and image Glock portrays of themselves. Perfection is subjective and we all know that, but people just look for any reason to bash Glock just for the thrills.
Short of the iron sights in front of the RDS, my G26.3 that I recently built from a stripped frame have virtually all of the mods you've done on your Combat Carry. Upgraded slide, night sights, upgraded barrel, GS heavy tungsten (18 lb.) guide rod / RSA, GS extended slide take down, Glock extended slide stop from the GS, GS Black Yikes connector, extended mag release, trigger upgrade, mag extension. No camo, though. Well done, Lenny!
Lenny, love the customizing that your doing! Your videos are always very informative. I would love to put the black and grey finish on my stock G19 Gen 3.
I have 4 shield mags and ran fine besides one will not slide lock after last round. Had a friend he had a new shield mag and base plate cracked in half and all the rounds shot out of the bottom. Seems hit or miss. Just my experiences.
My EDC is a 43X as well. I am running the Shield Arms 15 round magazines and one with a +5. I did have a break in period with them but they are flawless now. I bought a G45 with a Pyramid trigger in it for reference. It was nice but I'm not sure it was a world beater. I was leaning toward the Johnny Glock Vex trigger for my 43X if I changed it at all. Even as is I have a pretty nice stock trigger. I love your Videos Lenny! Keep on keeping on!!
Top notch operation and facility. If you get a chance to visit definitely do it. Was just there this past Wednesday, was given a tour and saw all those cnc machines .
I greatly appreciate the red dot, but I'm glad they weren't a thing when I learned to shoot. I personally think beginners do themselves a disservice learning on them.
Lenny, as a one time owner of serval Glocks, I got away from them because it either didn't perform or feel right in my hand. I found your videos and I'm convinced YOU can tailor a Glock in a way that would work for me. For all the custom stuff you do, can you change the feel of the grip too?
Naw I say just leave it. Glocks are made for one thing only, shooting BGs. There's plenty of nicer slicker cooler guns to play with on the range. My 2c at least. I do like the RMSc red dot on my G43x MOS
I feel the same way, the only mod that I am really thinking about doing on my 43X MOS is the pyramid trigger because Lenny is right after 150ish rounds through my gun my trigger finger really did start to feel the blade of the trigger safety. Created quite the hotspot on my finger for a day or so. If I did make the jump to get the trigger though I am only going with the basic trigger in a black-on-black configuration as to not draw unwanted attention if I ever did have to use it against someone.
Only problem with cerakote on a carry gun is how fast it wears off when it's in and out of kydex holsters. When are you guys going to start doing DLC or Nitride? Nice looking pistols though!
Does adding the tungsten guide rod change the cycling speed? slow down the slide cycle? Just wondering if adding more mass to the slide would change the speed of the slide going back and forth.
As far as I can tell it makes almost zero difference. Changing the spring is what really makes a difference on recoil and timing. I had 4 windows cut in each side of my Glock 40 which took a ton of weight off. I upgraded from the stock 17 lb spring to a 22 lb spring and it functions fine. I don’t think adding a tiny bit of weight in the guide rod would make one shred of a difference
Someone going to combat ain't carrying a limited capacity with a extention gun, they are running a 19 with an extention on the mag if possible. You don't need to hide nothing in combat so, no need for a thinner gun
I kinda hat this whole concept. Putting sight in front of the optic especially at suppressor height is just eliminating view of your already small window. Suppressor height sights are only needed if you are using a suppressor. Many optics have a notch built in to use with the front sight if the battery dies. But honestly it’s just easy to buy extra batteries and replace them before they die. I think this is a solution searching in the dark for a problem.
The red dot is the main sight at play, and having it closer to your eyes is better. The sight radius on the irons is definitely a little shorter but let's face it, those are backups. It's personal preference really.
I just got the 9 mm barrel for my 40 Glock 22. I also bought the extended slide lock. I can load 18 rounds in the mags which I like. But every shot will get a slide lock. If I keep my thumb on it, it will empty every mag. I was just wondering if I put the stock slide lock in it if it will not lock back?
Do those sights really hold zero and keep working mounted on a slide? It just seems way worse abuse than just gun recoil, getting slammed back and forward between each shot. I guess the cheap ones break quick.
if i bring my glock to your store from out of state, and it takes you guys a few days/weeks to complete it, would you have to have to send to an FFL near me or could i come and pick it up when complete?
I made sure I got one with a Factory Installed RMSC, but I couldn't get used to the glock trigger, so I did get a drop in trigger from these guys. That, with a few extra mags and im golden 👌
What make it better than the 19. It was supposed to be a step from the 43, but ends up being bigger than a short barrel 17. What advantage am I missing?
@@Shieldel The thin frame is a plus but as we all know it’s the grip that’s hard to conceal. When people buy a 43x or even a 43 then use a one or two round extended mag, the grip is as long or sometimes longer than a 19. The 43x even using a flush mag is the same grip length as a 19. Now I’ve cut my round count in half and still trying to conceal the same grip. I personally carry a 43 and it’s a love hate relationship. I love the conceal ability but hate the round count. Having just 6 rounds doesn’t give me a warm fuzzy feeling, so now I carry a spare mag when I didn’t before with the 15 to 17 rounds of my others.
Please Please PLEASE make a double stack 15-20 round mag for the 43x to complete with Shield Arm… I was gonna buy a SA but I’ve been hearing they can be unreliable. If a random 3rd party company can do it, surely you guys can do it better lol.
I've recently heard that PSA is making a Dagger that uses a 15rd magazine that will fit in the G43X and does not require that the mag catch be upgraded.
Larry makes it sound so good just to rack up the price. Just like calling it a pyramid trigger just cause it has a triangle in graved on it and the double diamond cause it has two diamonds engraved on it.. rip off
I like the way Lenny handles the pistols-it’s like he’s showing fine jewelry, or rings to fiancés.
Reminds me of the HOME SHOPPING NETWORK
It’s nice to see you in a state that actually appreciates the constitution of the United States!
Been in the store a couple times now since they opened in Nashville. Very impressive to say the least.

Exactly… customization for discerning customers!

Glock functions the best when you don't touch internals but if it works for you, go for it
Then it's not perfection I guess
i just worry about reliability when changing things, especially if its a gun that you'd carry
The Glock I carried in a combat zone… iron sights, would have been nice to have some of those gadgets back then
The woodland camo is 🔥👍🏼

Shield Arms has a 15 round mag that is the exact same size as the stock mags, just holds 5 more rounds without the extended plate.
a lot of mixed reviews on it tho
@@jeremiahmoya5054I’ve had them for over a year. Over 1K rounds to date, without a malfunction.
Zero problems with the 4 I have.
Usually you will need a new mag release if you get the Shield Arms mag because the metal mag will cut at the plastic mag release

I'll keep this in mind. Thank you sir !! You come out with different stuff . 👍
Leaning towards the G43X MOS more than the G19. Perfect for concealment specially with my small body type
Thanks Lenny
Outstanding presentation. Semper Fi
Those small holes in the slide are for lint and sand? Truly ideal into combat environment.
I greatly appreciate the red dot, but I'm glad they weren't a thing when I learned to shoot. I personally think beginners do themselves a disservice learning on them.
Lenny, you should do Call of Duty themed slides. Like the Red Tiger Stripes

great examples and I didn't realize you made full custom carry models. I know what I need to save for now!

Man, I really like those. Definitely on my list to purchase in the near future.
I like my Glock 20 just the way I purchased it. Don’t need any of that fancy stuff. It shoots perfect the way it is.
Alright another fine video on the GLOCK weapon. Take care and be safe. See you on your next video.
PRICES On The Complete Gun
& Just The Slide Itself ???
That’s a very short sight radius. The longer the sight radius the easier to shoot accurately.
GLOCK STORE: Can you put a good laser on that combo ⁉
Can't wait for mine to ship 😎
You da man Lenny!!💪
I’ll be in Nashville in a couple of weeks and plan on stopping into the store. I’d love a tour.
Hopefully the slide stop issue has been fixed. Bought the extended controls for my 43x and the slide stop would not keep the slide locked.
I love Glock and it’s the only pistols I will buy but Johnny Glock makes a very fine trigger
I have never once felt a glock safety on my finger.
The green camouglage one is nice, although I'm not a camo guy.
Awesome work .
I have the pyramid slide with the optic, I want those high sights in front now
Could the holes on the side of the slide affect reliability ? Something could get in there ?
Basically like the new psa dagger 43x sights
Put a standard magazine in there, take that red dot off, and you'll be good to go.

Spoken as a true conventional line individual. Thank you for your inside the box mindset.

I shouldn't think the camo version looks so good, I suppose, but I do and I have no idea why I do.
Question: in your uploads, are you able to show what it looks like looking through the sights so we can see what it actually looks like?
Slim Glocks Vrs 365 Mavro or 365Xl. Which one is cutting edge?
The only thing I added to my 43x is the TLR6 laser light. No need for anything else. Maybe update the iron sights.
where do you find these on the website ?

awesome guns for ccw

Just wondering if the +2 - +4 mags for the combat carry edition are steal or factory issued Glock mags?
