Aside from your wonderful adventures, thank you so very much for putting out that campfire-especially in an area that has been hit hard with forest fires over the last few years. And for picking up the trash that was littering the trail. It makes me so cranky & frustrated when people don’t appreciate the, supposedly, pristine beauty of the provincial I’ve called home from all my 58 years. We did have a ton of fun on this road trip! The mini train was also too much fun! Especially for us adults 😂! I didn't want to seem like I was "patting my own back" by showing me picking up trash, but c'mon there was just so much we just felt like sharing it. Thanks, Quinten!

Was dying with laughter during your old time black and white film when Adam said 'some person showed up late' and you can hear Kathryn stifle her laughter with a slight snort! 🤣 I think that has just been the highlight of my day!!! But I loved the creativity in that tiny segment! 🙌 The interiors of those trains were fascinating to see, especially the open sleeper part which reminds me of the 2nd class compartments in Thailand. I miss Tim Horton's Timbits and poutine so much. I remember going to Trafalgar Square once for Canada Day celebrations where the marketing said there'd be real poutine and it was grated cheddar. The disappointment was too real. It's all about the cheese curds and you just can't get them over here! :(
That'll definitely be a broken promise! 😂 That film was so funny to film and put together! We loved walking through those trains! We can't wait to see some trains like that when we travel to SE Asia Oof! That is such a let down when you're so hyped for a food and you get it and it's not what you expected at all. Even worse when you're super hungry!

I’m so enjoying our trip; thanks for taking me along! This is a trip we definitely want to do! We’ve been as far as East British Columbia in Yoho National Park. We’ve don’t Banff and Jasper in Alberta 😍and the unreal colors of the glacial lakes as well as the power of water blew us away!

Thank you not only for your adventures, but your leave no trace ( picking up waste) and for taking the time and water to put out the smoldering fire! We’ve ran across the same up in Quetico Provençal Park, Manistee River and Namekagon River, all week plus padding trips. My Hubby is a retired Battalion Chief of a paid fire department(retired after 32 yrs of service)and it’s super frustrating to see fires still active. BIG hugs for taking the time and putting it out!!! Safe travels… we love your channel!

I have to agree the people of B.C. are so wonderful and Nice. When we visited Vancouver and Victoria, we did not find one local who was rude or mean. Everyone is so nice and happy! I need to go visit again! Lol Glad you guys had a good trip through there. It is so gorgeous!

Ok I had to pause the video at the train part...lol...you missed a critical opportunity to say "No MONEY, NO TICKET!" from Frosty the snowman. Haha...I do that every time to my kids when we see old train stations like that....ok back to regular scheduled viewing...and I'm back. Loved the shout out to the North Shore of Minny...that definitely did look like it your so right. The joy in this video is so contagious! I've said it before but watching how happy this trip makes you all is so awesome to watch. I love road trips so much and this one just seems so epic....and with Poutine to boot!
That is a missed opportunity! Although I don't think either of us have seen Frosty for at least ten years haha But we'll have to do it on the next train! We're having a blast and having fun sharing it and seeing the reactions and comments! Thank you!
On our trip to Alaska, we saw more bears in the Yukon and the Stewart-Cassiar hwy than in Alaska (except for Katmai Natnl Park) which you can't drive to. We also saw (in Canada) bison, moose and goats along the hwy.
We've been in Alaska for a few weeks now and we saw wayyy more bears and other wildlife in the Yukon than anywhere else! We've been skunked on bears since being in Alaska!
I know you're 4 wks further, this episode was incredible. In 2018 in Alaska, our 2 favorite spots were 1) Valdez with 360 of snowcap mts & Thompson Pass w/it's many waterfalls along highway; & 2) Alyeska Resort atop mt after ski lift & eat at top with views off Rt 1 S of Anchorage. We love you guys!!
I just got back last month from the 10 day trip you recommended in Southern Colorado. I took my daughter and 8 yr old granddaughter. Probably our favorite thing to do was ride the train from Durango toward Silverton stopping for a picnic lunch next to the Animas River. Such beautiful scenery! We also enjoyed Ouray and the Hot Springs pool there. Thanks again for the great recommendations along the route. The end of this trip is in my family home and present home. PG, Chetwynd and Dawson Creek. I have travelled the road so many times. Love seeing locations from an someone else's point of view
Timmy’s and Poutine you guys are real Canadians now, eh?! 😆True there is no entrance fee for provincial parks but you have to pay to camp at them. Canada does have some national parks that have a daily fee. They don’t call it beautiful British Columbia for nothing 🐻🏔🌲 thanks for taking us along. We’re ready for the journey to Alaska 🐾

The BW film clip was a nice touch :). Speaking of Bear counting, I remember we took the shuttle bus in Denali Park to Eielson years ago and saw no less than 10 bears along the road among other big animals like caribou and moose. Very exciting for the whole family
We had so much fun filming that little bit! Unfortunately we've been skunked on bears since we've gotten to Alaska! Lots of sheep, caribou, and moose though!
Nice job helping to put out that fire and collecting the trash too. We did something similar back in the Santa Fe National Forest. It can be mind boggling sometimes what other people do or don't do. Loved the never ending movie and we think you should have a bear counter down in the corner. We are looking forward to all the wildlife you may see. Thanks for sharing all the beauty and fun.

I was going to mention now that you are out of the Metro Vancouver area, you'll find a lot of FSRs (Forestry Service Roads) and Rec sites around the province that you can camp at for free. We've lived in BC for 10 years and have only paid for camping in Vancouver. Love the videos guys!

Alaska was for me my favorite trip ever (but I'm MUCH less traveled than you of course). If you haven't made it to Denali National Park yet I highly recommend the Triple Lakes Trail (and the little trail offshoots from it). It's on the longer side, but beautiful.
I was really disappointed to find that trash there. :( Thank you so much! We are having a blast in Alaska and can't wait to share these adventures! We missed the Triple Lakes Trail, but it did look like it was gorgeous! We'll have to do it on our next trip.

It actually looked like a lightning stike not a camp fire. I might be mistaken but we have had alot of lightning around. Thank you for putting it out. Really saves the forest and towns. Love your videos.

Ok I had to pause the video at the train part...lol...you missed a critical opportunity to say "No MONEY, NO TICKET!" from Frosty the snowman. Haha...I do that every time to my kids when we see old train stations like that....ok back to regular scheduled viewing...and I'm back. Loved the shout out to the North Shore of Minny...that definitely did look like it your so right. The joy in this video is so contagious! I've said it before but watching how happy this trip makes you all is so awesome to watch. I love road trips so much and this one just seems so epic....and with Poutine to boot!

On our trip to Alaska, we saw more bears in the Yukon and the Stewart-Cassiar hwy than in Alaska (except for Katmai Natnl Park) which you can't drive to. We also saw (in Canada) bison, moose and goats along the hwy.
We've been in Alaska for a few weeks now and we saw wayyy more bears and other wildlife in the Yukon than anywhere else! We've been skunked on bears since being in Alaska!
I know you're 4 wks further, this episode was incredible. In 2018 in Alaska, our 2 favorite spots were 1) Valdez with 360 of snowcap mts & Thompson Pass w/it's many waterfalls along highway; & 2) Alyeska Resort atop mt after ski lift & eat at top with views off Rt 1 S of Anchorage. We love you guys!!

My wife and I did the same trip from Anchorage to Orange County in Aug 2018. Took 20 days. It was awesome. Actually saved our 40 year old marriage.

I just got back last month from the 10 day trip you recommended in Southern Colorado. I took my daughter and 8 yr old granddaughter. Probably our favorite thing to do was ride the train from Durango toward Silverton stopping for a picnic lunch next to the Animas River. Such beautiful scenery! We also enjoyed Ouray and the Hot Springs pool there. Thanks again for the great recommendations along the route. Canada does have some national parks that have a daily fee. They don’t call it beautiful British Columbia for nothing 🐻🏔🌲 thanks for taking us along. We’re ready for the journey to Alaska 🐾

The BW film clip was a nice touch :). Speaking of Bear counting, I remember we took the shuttle bus in Denali Park to Eielson years ago and saw no less than 10 bears along the road among other big animals like caribou and moose. Very exciting for the whole family

Nice job helping to put out that fire and collecting the trash too. We did something similar back in the Santa Fe National Forest. It can be mind boggling sometimes what other people do or don't do. Loved the never ending movie and we think you should have a bear counter down in the corner. We are looking forward to all the wildlife you may see. Thanks for sharing all the beauty and fun.

Alaska was for me my favorite trip ever (but I'm MUCH less traveled than you of course). If you haven't made it to Denali National Park yet I highly recommend the Triple Lakes Trail (and the little trail offshoots from it). It's on the longer side, but beautiful.

It actually looked like a lightning stike not a camp fire. I might be mistaken but we have had alot of lightning around. Thank you for putting it out. Really saves the forest and towns. Love your videos.
