Looking at that wood dining patio table.. I had a light bulb moment! How about doing a mosaic top... you could design any theme you want.... blue and whites.. florals.. vines .. the options are only limited by your imagination. What a fun project!

Use wooden dowel rods to stake up the micro tomatoes. You can cut the dowel rods to the length you need and they aren't that expensive either. Michael's has them in their stores.
Good morning, Janey! I also love the flowers that "wake up" in the morning like the morning glories. Did you know that you can keep your bird seed from sprouting by baking it in the oven at 300 degrees for 30 minutes? That's one way of keeping the weeds down. Enjoy your day! 🌻

I want from this purple hyacinth Bean seeds becaus along time ago ,my father aunt brought these seeds from Los Angeles. We do not have any of these seeds left. Hi Janey! Your yard looks amazing! Your micro dwarf tomatoes are flourishing!! Mine have struggled from the beginning. I had to move them from my kitchen greenhouse window, to the backyard. I had so many gnats! They were not getting quite enough sun and I think I was overwatering them. They look a little better now. You are doing an amazing job! Thanks for sharing with us!
Great video and I so appreciated hearing you feed your Bougainvillea with palm hibiscus food. Such a great tip! On the raised planters cannas would be nice and tropical backdrop for your seating area. You can cut them down in winter, dig up bulbs and winter them over in greenhouse. Just an idea

Hey Janey! I love your table areas. For the dining table, you can sand and stain your table and then finish it with a coat of marine varnish. That will give it some protection and extend the life. Check any marine store for supplies. Good luck! 👍
Lovely garden! It's an extra work load but you might want to try a weekly dose of water soluble fertilizer for your annuals. I can't wait to see what it looks like in a month!
Right before you said anything about moving your greenhouse and adding some raised beds I was thinking that if I had a greenhouse in that position like you do I would either put some large growbags all around the perimeter or build some cold frames that have removable "lids" so that I could grow cold tolerant things in early spring or even winter in your climate, & then other veggies or cutflowers in the summer & fall! I love your patio area. That is the one thing that I really hate that I do not have I have is a large patio or porch to sit on And enjoy my coffee. We don't have any trees or anything that provides any shade either so it's miserable all Spring and summer... But I'm working on planting some things that will provide shade. For the rug I wonder if there is any kind of flame retardant that you could spray on it?

Thank you for taking us on the backyard garden tour. All your plants are looking gorgeous in their own way. Everything looks like they are loving where you have planted them. I think as the season continues they will get even better. What an amazing gardener you are. For the raised garden bed I think a bed that you would use on a balcony or patio. Home Depot or Lowes may have them. Those are the most portable ones that you will be able to use. There are ones that are like a tier level ones which would give you even more planting reality. Just a thought. Anyways keep what you are doing and enjoy the gardens.
I have 3 containers that flank my 2 garage doors, that I always plant the same things in. I planted Supertunia Blue skies & Supertunia Visra Bubblegum (along with a few other things like alyssum, upright verbena, coleus, etc.) in them & I LOVE the pink & periwinkle together! I don't know about a ton of groundovers but I think creeping phlox would be gorgeous!
I saw the tomato cages your Mom & Dad had (your garden tour of your parents garden), I love them and ordered those this year. The love the square cages! 🍅🍅🍅

I love gardening with ferns and love seeing ferns every now and then in your videos! Also, I love your idea for the greenhouse, but being that I love shade gardens, I kinda think you should leave the greenhouse where it is and have a very skinny shade garden along your fence behind the greenhouse! Maybe some dry shade ferns at the bottom and something growing up the fence!!

Hi Janey, I love your videos! I live in Santa Rosa not far from you zone 9B but we can’t get proven winners plants over here. I’m going to drive to Sacramento or Dixon can you recommend a nursery there where I could get a lot of different proven winners annuals or perennials? No one carries them here except one or two annuals at home depot. Also… my husband has built 4 tables for me.. he says the best finish for an outdoor table is exterior, water based, polyurethane!😄

They are REALLY hard to find bc they often sell out so just keep looking and if you find one you like, grab it asap! Hi Janey, I love your videos! I live in Santa Rosa not far from you zone 9B but we can’t get proven winners plants over here. I’m going to drive to Sacramento or Dixon can you recommend a nursery there where I could get a lot of different proven winners annuals or perennials? No one carries them here except one or two annuals at home depot.
Also… my husband has built 4 tables for me.. he says the best finish for an outdoor table is exterior, water based, polyurethane!😄
I live in the Sacramento area. Green Acres is likely to have them.

Thank you! The pots get watered everyday right now for 45 min. Might have to increase that as it gets hotter but they seem happy right now with that amount! 💗

They are called MPG planters in the antique white color and I purchased them from Home Depot online. They are REALLY hard to find bc they often sell out so just keep looking and if you find one you like, grab it asap! I've even emailed the company directly to see if I could purchase directly from them. No response of course 😆 Good luck!
