Filmed on August 4th 6 days before the big Garden Conservancy's Open Day Garden Tour. The garden this year seemed to bloom at least 1 1/2 weeks ahead of last year. Hope you enjoy!
This is EXACTLY how I want my garden to look!! I bought a home with no gardening space and have cut in a garden area. I love the way you leave space between your plants. I have a tendency to overplant. I love the look of my freshly planted garden but I and end up with something that always looks messy. Your video. Has shown me how to combine 3:06
Beautiful! I have said it before and it bares repeating, you do a spectacular job of layering plants. Thank you for sharing your garden with those of us who couldn’t come to see in person.
Wow those Scottish Fantasy daylilies are striking. It is hard to find true pinks in Hemerocallis. I find that I can keep my Russian Sage from flopping by doing the Chelsea Chop on it in mid to late May.
You do a very nice job of arranging all your beautiful flower beds, both in their appearance and their bloomtimes.. Wow, it’s so nice to see the wildflower prairie doing so well! The pollinators and birds will benefit! The decoration in your greenhouse of plants and tableware, etc. looked just lovely. Thanks for sharing the fruits of your hard labour
Oh my, your garden is amazing, and you do such a nice tour. This is my first time viewing your TH-cam, but I will definitely be back for more. I could stay there all day soaking in the beauty; I can only imagine how beautiful heavens garden must be 😇 Blessings😊
I loved your tour the greenhouse and the Prairie was a especially lovely. I have enough property. I just wish I was younger to start such a project. How nice it would be to be there in person great job
Absolutely gorgeous. I love your greenhouse. I love all your gardens. They are amazing. I absolutely love your dishes in the greenhouse. What pattern is that and brand thank you for sharing.
Stunning!!! I always look forward to your garden tour ❤ wish I could see it in person! Can you please mention what the pink coreopsis variety is? It’s beautiful!
Dawn - I loved your garden! Your prairie is beautiful. Have you watched any of Dr. Doug Tallamy's videos? He explains the importance of native plants and their connection as host plants for caterpillars which feed baby birds (they cannot eat seeds). Also, may I ask what brand your sage colored dishes are? I have been looking for just that shade of green.
Hi Dawn! Your gardens are absolutely stunning!! I so wish I could have gone to your Open Days tour. Hopefully next year! 😊 At 9:05, you show a trio of containers by your patch of red echinacea…what plants are in the tallest of the 3 containers? I believe I see osteospermum and lantana maybe? What else is in that container?
@@sailajapeddada1267 I have several different varieties. The one on the berm in the front yard that’s really floppy and big is the old original Russian sage. Then the ones in the new front of the garden I have denim and lace
Thank you, Dawn! Gorgeous! Can you do a video on how you staked your annabelles?
Great idea!! I’ll have to do in spring when you can see the staking. Thanks for the idea!!

@@SeasonalDesignsbyDawn Thanks so much for the reply Dawn. Will definitely try that beautiful combo next Spring! Have a blessed day! 😊
❤
Beautiful flowers! Can you tell me what are the ones at 0:21? Almost looks like peach colored cosmos. So pretty.
Those are coreopsis. Shades of Rose
@@SeasonalDesignsbyDawn thank you!!! I really find them beautiful! Ditto on your entire yard. So beautiful.
what a pretty property surrounded by flowers! Do you need water those plants in the Prairie? thanks.
Thank you. No watering of the prairie. That is done by Mother Nature alone. That’s the beauty of natives they can handle some drought. 😊
What is the pink/coral flower behind the millennium allium? 5:39 Also, absolutely gorgeous flower garden!!!
That is Tequila Sunrise Phlox
So stunning.. What is the name of the bright green grass at the front of entry next to the hydrangea?
Do you mean to the entry of the greenhouse? To the left of the pathway to the greenhouse is something called autumn more grass.
What is the name of the 3 red leaf plants that you mentioned at the beginning of the video?
Red leafed Mukdenia. 😊
Beautiful garden!! 💫 What is the coreopsis that is on either side of the aliums at the 5:40 minute mark?
Thank you. That is called Shades of Rose!
So beautiful Dawn. I love the vignettes in your garden.
