Just got this knife. Absolutely love it but that thumb stud....I agree with you on that one.

Good review! You are probably in toddler land right about now, but if you ever think about getting another one of these, I recommend the Dozier precision hunter w the opening hole instead of the thumb stud. It's way easier to open, and even more like a Delica! Except still a little stouter feeling.
    Edit:
Ahh, I see you already did a blade swap vid w that one lol. Good job ;)

I just bought the knife half way through watching your video ( you sold me on it), and I have benchmade mini bugouts is every color. I really like the dozier and I've never owned one. I also think the Delica is horrible looking, I like the dragonfly better. Thank you for the review.

    Great job with the review
Best Buy by far for $20 bucks..
Several other youtubers even compares this Dozier with $50-$70 dollars knives and overall it compares well
My advice is save up $70-$100 dollars and instead of getting 1 great (specs wise ) knife that your will get tired of it after a year ..
Take your saved up dollars and get this Dozier (great colors ) choices and get yourself a few other $25-$35 dollar knives that you like..
That’s what I did. I bought 4 (all different) steels and sized and have 4 knives that I trade out throughout the year.
Aus8 is a joy to use and easy to touch up
    Great review

Keep one in every jacket just in case! Don't buy a knife you'll be too worried to abuse if needed or get lost. I have Opinel, Mora, this, classic Buck, and other oddballs like a higonokami. I like the classic knives that are time proven to work, plus countries other than China are refreshing, and surprising in a 20 dollar knife. Sweden, France, handmade in Japan, and USA for buck.

    I got a black one that's a 4072, and a red one with a black blade that's a 4062 like yours, but now I need a blue one I guess, umm-hmm.

The Dozier has to be one of my favorite and most used knives. Its only drawback: the picket clip is flimsy.

I really love my Dozier. My only complaint is that I get a lot of vertical play. I notice that especially when I’m bearing down or cutting I get a lot of rock back at the pivot. Any suggestions?

Yes the blade play at the pivot point but it doesnt effect any point.

How sharp did it come brand new?

    • @mikafoxx2717
      @mikafoxx2717 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

If you gotta ask, you need to get more sharpening practice. All factory edges are pretty dull or get full fast thanks to overheated apex steel from the buffing wheel
