    Your videos are always so informative! I'm new to this and not mechanically inclined, so forgive the basic question, but if I get the race maf, I'd be getting it installed at a mechanic shop. Can I wait until I get it home to flash the tune? Like will it start and make it home? Or would I need to flash there.

    • @Zspeed
      @Zspeed  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      It should start up, but it would probably throw a code after you started driving! The code would cause your dashboard to light up like a Christmas tree. But it should still make it home. The main problem would be that your engine will be running lean, which could damage it over time. If you have a laptop, I would recommend that you tune it at the shop after the intake is installed!🏁👍

    So funny.. I found this.. I just ordered the cai street tho. And the intercooler I was surprised the cooler didn't get painted. They give us the option with the cardboard cut out lol.. I honestly think the cai looks cheap for the price tag.. anyways good video.. I'll be installing my soon

      which one is better street or race?

    • @aidantorress
      @aidantorress ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@dhruveshpatel8896 I would get street if you plan on keeping the original stock turbo with full bolt ons. If you get race I mean you’d obviously need a better clutch than the stock one and etc.

    I only have the base set tune from Hondata for the prl race cobra intake on my 2019 SI and all my lights like emissions, check engine, traction light, and parking break lights are on… is this an actual issue or do I need to see what’s wrong with tune ?

    • @Zspeed
      @Zspeed  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Make sure you update your Hondata software and reload your tune to the ECU. I have had the same issue with all of the lights going off. Everytime that has happened, I've had to reload my tune. Once the tune has been reloaded everything should work correctly!

    Hey, so I installed the same intake without the hondata and suddenly the engine lights pops up and the power has gone. Do u think once i get the hondata everything would be fine? Thanks in advance

    • @Zspeed
      @Zspeed  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yes, if you got the race version, you have to tune your engine!!! Without a tune your engine will be running way too lean, this could damage your engine. I would not drive the car until you get it turned!
