This episode was slightly chaotic and I'm here for it lol. Great episode! I love Chevy and I really love the NA 6.2L, but for $80k (probably $90 - $100k after dealer mark up), it should have more power. I would love to see the 684 hp LT4 GM puts in the Escalade V in this truck to compete against the Raptor R and TRX. I'll never be able to afford one but it would be nice to know it exists

I went to look at a new Raptor R at our local Ford dealer and they were $155k (Canadian)!!!

Well about the suspension have had my ZR2 for 11 months and 10000 miles later and running 35’s am here to tell you city,of road pavement anything road the suspension have never let me feel like I made a mistake buying this truck and have taken this truck into almost everything from one state to the other and I came from a Chevy highcountry to the ZR2 and am here to tell you… love it.

Great job guys. My husband works for AEV and said this truck is the real deal.
It looks like the reason for the 33" tires is that the under bed spare can't accommodate a full 35" spare. For 35", you'd need the spare mounted in the bed, which might get in the way of the tent. Maybe one of those expando-spares could get you to 35", but you wouldn't want a less-than-full spare for overlanding.

My issue with the front facia of newer Silverados is the bow tie 🎀 getting higher and higher on grill. They should re center it.
A great truck. The way they should be. A big beefy V8. The stuff on the back I could live with out. It is also better looking then the Fords and Toyotas as well. Would of like to seen who it drives in the snow..

These guys explain it BUT I just want to help out and say this truck isn't from the factory. Its from a company that turns trucks into Overlanders called American Expedition Vehicles. This truck is not another 100K truck its 100K with all the improvements.

Someone explain rooftop tents to me. Just get a regular-ass tent for < $100
So that you don’t have to setup your tent over a tree root
A $ 100 tent is a POS that will fail in a few months. The Rooftops are nice as they get you off the ground. That said they do have downsides-they're overpriced for what they are (poor value), unless you can park the truck on a flat surface you're sleeping at an angle ( likely much easier to find a flat area for a regular tent due to its smaller footprint), if you need to water the terrain in the middle of the night you're climbing down a ladder, if it's windy the truck and tent will sway vs using the truck or the terrain as a wind break. These "adventure" packages are nice, but it's better and cheaper (especially if you're financing the package-think about it, you just financed a tent and gas cans for 5-6 years) to do it yourself. Honestly, like many Jeep owners, this is little more than a poser package. 99% percent of the buyers wouldn't last 48 hours in the wilderness on their own and probably are dumb enough to think that if they get a flat 100 miles from nowhere, they'll call roadside service...until the realize they don't have cell service.
Most people probably don't spend more than a dozen nights a year in a tent, if that. I can attest, even a cheap tent can last years doing that. It blows my mind the $$$$$ people spend on these rigs for truck glamping@@weirdshibainu

Every time I hear the word overlanding I actually want to vomit. People just need to call it what it is, stupid fancy car camping.
It looks cool if you have the money to get it. Or instead you can believe TFL that the Land Rover LR3 is reliable and get one as a camper for the price of this overland equipment.

Great review guys! Just picked up a ZR2 Bison and put some 35in KO2s on it. Only have a slight rub at full-lock reverse. Otherwise no issues! Videos on my channel.
