Yes them old drums many were turned into stoves :) Good job it looks & works good 👍, my friend don't put heat in there without vapor barrier it will condensate between insulation & plywood if the temps are on the cooler side close to freezing at night & then you cover it will be black mold, I watched a couple new homesteaders in Alaska do just that & had to pull all insulation to dry it out :( Then they did one wall at a time after, hope it's not to late ! Timing of vaper barrier is as important as having it there,

Thanks for the tip! Luckily & unfortunately I haven’t been back out there to do more work. I’ve only tried the stove twice so far..
Will get a vapor barrier on as soon as I can though. Thanks 👍

Barrel stoves have a place in construction clean up, closing the door or adding a second barrel only makes creosote double barrel simply makes twice as much 🤣
