After getting the first service done, my bike started cutting off frequently. After repeated trips to the service center, the issue was finally resolved. This video is the detailed explanation of the same.

Now my friend makes fun of me bcoz no one buy TVS apache bikes in my district i.e in north Goa ...n I bought it..
I am also facing some serious issue with my 200 4V bs6 like it jerk when i am cursing my bike at a constant speed some time sounds also get changed and after visiting TVS work shop for more than 7 times its still the same i have no idea what to do, i purchased my bike in march 2021, jerking issue started after refuling my bike.
Bro same thing has happened now with me and my bike is not starting.
@@reply2mishrayash your injectors are jammed ,either due to dirt or water in fuel .Use a fuel system cleaner from liquimoly and you should be fine
@@abvithaltheriderspride539 Tvs motorcycles have a minor market share in goa ,but their mopeds are selling like hot cakes .Their bikes are good,no doubt .I will take a tvs over a bajaj any day .It's their after sales service at tvs thaly in porvorim thats pathetic to say the least .They don't have basic spares in store .My friends 160 was with them for almost a month as fiber parts were not available .It was kept in the rain which led to the display going bad .I had to courier the parts from Maharashtra to goa .On asking them why they don't have parts ,they replied parts backlog chalu asa ,ani yeopak 20 dis lagtele.For such a big showroom ,it's pathetic after sales service
No This is not a one off case. This is a common issue with the first lot of Apache with Modes. It happened to me as well. Replaced the pump today. Only plus point about this issue is that it is not actually a breakdown, if you give your bike rest for 30 mins it will start again. But yeah, replace the pump whenever this happens.

@@parangdenmotovlogs3713 Initial BS6 batches had the same problem. I have heard the same issues with other Hero and Bajaj bikes as well.

I have the 2022 apache rtr 160 4v it's 1 and half months old and has done 1,700 kms and I have faced quality issues on my bike.
1. The seat cover seems to be peeling off.
2. Rust spots in many places.
3. Chassis paint is chipping off in many places.
4. Panel gaps are inconsistent.
I took the bike to the service center they said they will replace the seat and for other things they told "all tvs bikes are like this". I have experience owning bikes of other brand and I can tell with certainty that tvs in terms of quality is very poor. I raised the issue with TVS company, they have sent an acknowledgement I am waiting to see how things will proceed.
Same issue is happening for my Apache 200 BS6 2022 model. I think this is happening for most of the users. Seems issue with the Fuel pump only. Thanks for this video.
Yes i also faced this issue with my bike (RTR200 4V)
My bike's fuel pump was working fine. The actual issue was with the actuator under the rear seat, the connection was getting disengaged when the bike was vibrating because of that the bike was not starting.

I have undergone the same issue with my apache and it's only 4 months old... I had this issue after 300 kms only.... The service centre peps were unable to find any issue and after that i bashed the tvs company like anything and they took the issue in their hand and i handed over the bike to the best workshop in my city and then I got to know that it was a fule pump problem.... Fuel pump is covered under warranty for the 1st year
I faced issue with ignition cut off during cold start and running in full clutch pressed from day 1 after purchasing the bike.
I visited service center more than 6 times & with this issue
At 1st they changed my ECU, Thermal sensor & it was still getting off
After that they did some inspection & it was still unresolved for 2 months as the problem wasn't detectable
Laster last month finally they changed my throttle body & the issue of ignition cut during running at full clutch was resolved but the cold start problem was still their.
On the last visit they changed my oxygen sensor & Spark plug which finally resolved my issue.
I belive tvs quality control is at fault for this as many of the bikes r having trouble with different issues

Same issue with my rtr 200 4v
they changed ECU and thermal sensor for free of cost? so the issue was only with throttle body, oxygen sensor and spark plug ? why can't they diagnose with latest scanners and equipments and find the exact issue.

Some parts u can't get checked by computers
Though they have with the tab couldn't find any error as the faulty parts were mechanical
Issue was solved by replacing the throttle body & Spark plug
Issue was with the motor in the throttle body
same issue with my rtr 4v bs6. fuel pump went bad at 7k within a year, although I maintain 3/4 full tank all times. TVS sc keeps denying just to avoid free replacement, but I forced them to accept and change under warranty

I had the same issue few days back with my 200 4v, the bike used to run properly but after stopping after completing couple of Km's or once the engine gets heated the bike would not start. Eventually took to service center and came to know it was the fuel pump issue, bizzare thing was it was even one month after completion of 1 year so no warranty, 6.2k for the part. Ride with atleast 2 bars of fuel left in your bike and fill up if lesser than 2 bars on fuel indicator is what i was suggested by the service center.
Lastly thanks to this video and creator i was able to atleast know that its the right thing to allow service center to change the fuel pump and not a scam.

@@ashishvishwakarma5366 yes i visited one service center and they said it had only 1yr of warranty.Then i contacted the SC from where i have purchased the bike and they said fuel pump had 3 yr of warranty and can claim full warranty for it

experienced same issue yesterday, fuel injector pump not working. But they dont have the part so they order it. there parts come from banglore and now it will take around 1 week . my bike is standing in the service centre now

I'm having the same issue on my bs6 200 4v 2022 model.. bike break down three times in traffic and i literally had to drag it to my home.
Two times i took it to the service centre and they couldn't figure out the issue and i mentioned the same thing that I'm feeling like there is an issue in fuel pump.. but now I'm clear after watching this video.

My 2004v is now in the service station with the same problem but somehow they realised it's the problem of fuel pump nd it will be replaced within this monday... Mine is also brand new just bought it on April

TVS guys know nothing. Even I have an Apache 200 and after doing while engine work they are not able to solve my problem. Very pathetic and unprofessional.
Take it to a service center which can service a RR310 and ask the RR310 technician to service your bike

Try to use good quality of fuel and dont allow the fuel bars go below 2 bars.
Also dont fill the tank till the opening..It causes improper breathing.
If you do full tank,try to open the lid once in a while
Bought the bike today just after 3 km started stalling same issue as you faced. Tvs told me it's because overfilling petrol they removed 1 litre it started but after reaching home same issue remain. Call technician they will be coming tomorrow to pick up the bike for repairs

As i complained about this issue from begining,mechanic didnt find out exact reason for this issue. Today Atlast he found out fuel pump issue and replaced it free of cost

After that my bike is fine, after that I got fuel pump problem , that too replaced . But lot of arguments and chats and wasted lots of my time with tvs people for ecu replacement and fuel pump replacement

As reputed manufacturers squeeze every bit of horsepower and torque from small capacity engines, incorporate 4 valves, added oil or water cooling, load many features in the console, add sensors and use Electronics to diagnose defects, the bike becomes a black box no one on the road can attend. Reliability standards will improve over the years. Also the service and parts revenues over the life of the vehicle will be captured by the manufacturer. Small multi brand mechanics will attend only the old vehicles
Dude my bike is Apache 160 4V BS6.. Within 1 year Engine Rocker Arms gone for just 10000kms and they took almost 2 weeks to inspect and replace them. Completely 3 days bike is in showroom.

Ive been through this. 1 and a half years and havnt ridden this bike without fear. since i purchased this bike, fuel pump has changed twice and recently thermal and o2 sensor changed. i am actually now scared to ride this bike esp going out of city. my previous bs4 karizma was sooo better.

I maintain 3 bar of petrol everytime, my bike runs like a chariot...no single problem from past 365 days...problem is only with cost of petrol..lol but I will fill the tank even if it costs million ...#RTR 200 4V

Bs6 is such a pain in ass in all bikes. And the authorities wont do any thing about it as its pain only for the people.

I'll still suggest you to get the 200 4v over other 200cc bikes. Such problems do occur in many bs6 bikes so it's not a specific 200 4v issue
I too have apache RTR 200 4v bs6. It has been 2 months sice i bought this machine and iam suffering exactly the same issue as yours. Before the first service the bike was doing well but soon after the first service, my bike started to breakdown in the middle of the ride. It has been happening with me for atleast 4 times now. My issue is same as that of yours what should i do as the technician told me about the complexities of the bs6 engines and stuff iam afraid my bike will suffer any permanent damage. At night she rides so well and never shuts off while riding even a single time. But during the day she will probably shut off suddenly and start after pushing or after 10 to 15 minutes iam pissed off too please suggest me with some solution..

Like when starting the sound when fuel is injected "....sheeeesh..." didn't sound good and soon the bike also stopped & even the Engine Check light also didn't glow.
I'm glad I saw your video before buying the bike but didn't think I would also face this issue😐.
Now is it recommend to change the fuel pump? How do I convince TVS service person any tips on how to handle them because ofc if they check in OBD it will not show any problems.
Edit: Finally TVS guys himself had experienced this issue while taking it to service centre so no need of convincing after this many months my issue is gonna solve
Hi, did the bike start after a while ? Just use it for a few more days and if it still happens, then go ahead and claim the warranty
@@kmperhrvlogs Yes after few failed attemps I tried it again, this time the fuel injection sound was normal and the engine didn't die, so then took it to Service Center but they said they don't have that OBD testing device 🙃 and come back later.
I can surely say as with your case that OBD will not show any error and they will just say no problemis present 🥲.
Yeah if it happens next time I'll just shoot a video to show them some hard proof that there is something wrong with it.

@@kmperhrvlogs Yes it used to start after a while (30-50 min)and this problem i faced 4 times and finally mechanic himself was taking it to center at first he repeated on/off and showed it's working, i said nah you take it to SVC and check it thoroughly and finally bike gave up on him in just 100m of riding then he acknowledged the problem and said fuel pump is not working and it'll be solved and it's nearing my 3rd service now

I faced a thermal sensor issue after 6 months of buying , my bike would not start properly, after replacing the sensor issue was solved but now again facing starting problem, dont know what issue happened this time.
They have changed air filter and plug but no use it started stopping again

I had the same problem but the bike wont start after that i gave the bike to the service centre it was corona peek time last year march it took them 1 mnth to solve it wiring kit failure
It's a very common problem coming up with every 200 4v bs6 model, I have faced the same and it's a terrible experience. The service center I earlier visited has given me the worst experience ever, not solving my problem knowing the solution. Fuel pump problem is a common problem in every new bs6 200 4v. It's not a small problem as it's life threatening if happens in a rush hour. My bike would stop while holding clutch in 1st and 2nd gear and then this start problem after a short/long ride. After getting heated up it was regularly causing start problem. Had to get my fuel pump changed today within warranty.

Bro, this issue was with the 2021 march lot of the fuel pump . The issue was with the fuel pump supplier. No major issue faced after that incident- GO FOR THIS BIKE - it’s an epic machine

I had faced same issue , within 3 days of buying my apache rtr 160 4v
I had issue with my new Yamaha FZ with the gear box. The service center people were not ready to accept the problem and blaming me for it. I told them the problem was there from day 1 and I had already pointed it out. After a lot of fight they agreed and fixed it.
What was the issue?
@@anirbanslearningpoint2016 From day 1 the gear box was getting stuck when I tried to shift. They made me believe that it is just a minor problem and will get fixed in first service but it wasn't.
@@amitsuju facing a similar issue in my new fz25 bs6. The gear remains stuck in to neutral. Neutral shifts to first gear only when l start the bike without clutch. I don't know what the issue is. How was your issue resolved?
@@anirbanslearningpoint2016 I had this issue as well, main issue to me was gear was getting stuck even when I shifted from 2 to 3 or vice versa.
This particular issue you mentioned persisted even after fixing the gear box but not very frequent. You need to go to the service center and put pressure on them and if they disagree ask for a new bike. That is the only way.

@@kmperhrvlogs Any resolution? I thought the bike had a sensor to cut off the engine if it is idled for more than a specified time. Is it the throttle body issue?
You need to change the camshaft and update the ecu.i had the same problem and doing this fixed it for me. Contact a main dealer. It was a fix issued by TVS I think. All this was done under warranty

Bhai i am facing the same problem… i just did my 1st servicing and it has been 5 days i am facing the same problem… the malfunction light stays on all the time, sometimes when i turn on the bike it does not start like pressing the start button, there’s no response from the bike and then faces the same problem which you said…. I am really pissed off going to service center again and again… they did the same which your machanic did but still its the same😩

i am facing the same issue and my 200 4v has not crossed 3000 km as on date.. my rtr is in the service centre, findgers crossed because this has again happened only 5 days after second service

Thank you for sharing this, as I have been through the same situation like you and hope that this doesn't happen to anyone . As on today ie 4/4/2022, bike is almost 4 months old and its a 2004v bs6 model . When I took the matter to showroom owner, he was such a harrassing person that he straight away avoided the situation, the technicians are so under experienced that they cannot even know what was the problem with my bike until i showed them this vedio , still they were reluctant to help me. Such a shameful situation that showroom owner and technicians were hiding form me like thiefs hide form police. I am still having this issue and haven't got my defective fuel pump replaced , after they have seen this vedio the showroom owner told that's it's not under warranty , i need to pay the whole ammount after that thy would replace the fuel pump. So it's a kind request to you help me in this situation. I am confused what comes under warranty and what doesn't, kindly enlighten me in this situation.
For the first year, the electrical components like sensors, wiring and the fuel pump is covered under warranty. If the vehicle is not modified in terms of the electricals, the service centre simply cannot deny the warranty claim . LODGE AN OFFICIAL COMPLAINT TO TVS VIA EMAIL AND PHONE.
I have a different problem with my RTR 200 4v bs6 too with switching modes.It always shows switching mode error.I went to the TVS service center but they couldn't repair it and they were confused.

Hi bro, I'm planning to buy a new bike I'm in confusion between fz250 & Apache 200 4v , suggest me bro, being a Apache owner how is the bike performance, milleage, service cost, engine reliability etc suggest me bro
I'd suggest you to take proper test rides of both bikes before making any decision. Service and maintenance of the Apache is on par with Bajaj bikes i.e. its pretty affordable. Sometimes the spare parts are not available which can be an issue

Hi, I'd suggest you to still go for the Apache 200 over the FzS . These issues do come and go but the overall bike is superb 👌
@@kmperhrvlogs Bhai, I too faced this issue @ 3375 Kms after exactly 5 months of the delivery of my Apache RTR 200 4v BS VI.. No service center across Pune City has the required part, "Fuel Pump" available in stock! It is lying in service center since last 12 days & still it isn't sure when the Fuel Pump will be available!
TVS must look into this issue as these type of issues are not expected just with 5-6 months! Very much disappointed with the after sale service!!

@@sulemankamal2470 It took 1 month to get the fuel pump delivered to me. Actually there were 4 more bikes other than mine in SC. But due to ongoing chip shortage, spare manufacturing is stopped. First I thought they are misleading me. But they showed me the email conversation between them and TVs management. They ordered 5 fuel pumps but TVs sent only 2, that tooo after 1 month. Finally my fuel pump got replaced.

Maintain fuel level always above reserve level( 3 liters), in bs 6 engine it is necessary to have atleast 2.5- 3 liters fo petrol to prevent compressor from getting g damaged, bass aur service 500-600 ke beech me deena 900 ke baad nahi, and I also own apace 160 4v. So life of parts depends on how well you take care of your bike, in sabb falthu chez pe dyan math deena.

@@Rohit-yb5cf bike is really smooth and fragile bro.... Till date no issues... It's been 2months and no complaints on the bike.... I did 730kms ride on single day.... On the whole ride also... I did not face any issues and heating was also not there.. Its very cool bike..... If u are looking for bike that satisfies ur needs and binds with your budget... Please go for it... Because.. It's best value for money bike..... In the segment will all the features and safety also...

Same problem in 3 months fuel pump damaged for my 2004v but that choppy throttle response is a new problem that is happening after replacing fuel pump. Its happening like 2 times in 10 times when am giving sudden acceleration. I will tell this to the service guy in my 3rd free service which is scheduled in few weeks. Any suggestions for me regarding this issue? Please help

looking at number of people who have reported the same fuel pump issue, isn't it time TVS recalled all rtr 200 4v bs6 bikes for faulty fuel pump and related issues. probably all of us who faced this issue to write to TVS at the same time about this. Whats the point of buying such a unreliable bike if we cannot do touring or long rides with peace of mind.
