⚠ Updates: *Cruise control in reserve* It is supposed to work in reserve - TVS sent us a video showing us that it does. *Cruise control in Rain Mode* TVS says they're checking why it didn't work in Rain on our test bike - _because it is supposed to._ However, the documentation that came along with the motorcycle does mention clearly that on both stock and IMU-equipped models, Rain, Track and Supermoto modes do not have cruise control enabled, only Urban and Sport do.
Best thing about this channel is that in addition to knowledgeable bits about automotives, it doesn't feel like two specialists spewing out technological jargon 😂. It genuinely feels like being in a conversation in the living room with two friends and discussing the latest automotive news. Feels like home❤. Please keep up the vibe❤
The chemistry between these two is probably the only reason I sit through an hour of a review of a vehicle I will never even think of buying. One my favourite bit of internet for some time now.
"Dont use colors just because its a color screen, use it to highlight the important information" - Thank you Shumi! As a UX Designer, I cant emphasise how important this is on any screen, especially an automotive screen that you dont have the luxury of looking into for a long time. A simple color highlight to indicate the important factor is so easy for the rider to gather required information in the shortest time!
Man , I feel so grateful knowing that I could consume such high quality content for free. Thanks for all of this Kartikeya ,Shumi and the whole team ofc.I mean for e.g which channel talks about a motor vehicle's seat in so detail that you as a viewer innately know why it's so fundamentally wrong. Also when are we getting a discord server :)
Hey Akshay, that’s very generous and extremely kind of you. It’s massively encouraging as it recognises the effort that goes into it. Do stay tuned. We hope to better conversations soon! 😁
Sunday tea was ready and so was the breakfast, the only thing remaining in completing the Sunday morning was Motorinc First, and lo and behold it's live; a perfect Sunday!
I have a TVS apache 150 for 16+ years now (Surge 150 not RTR series). Serviced at the same dealership i bought it from, have had no issues, like them a lot. But please NOTE: They are the main dealer in Chennai, and have been a TVS dealer since they made TVS 50 xl. Service in South is pretty good (chennai and coimbatore especially) considering they are based out of here.
In Madurai too service is Good👍🏻Especially Sathya Jyothi motors is great I Got my 200 4v RE there Customer Experience was the best. And many other dealers where also doing a good job except one particular dealer that I don't like because their way of service is too slow and improper that includes Customer satisfaction as well not good.
I started test Riding Last year in August with Speed 400 followed by RTR 310 , then Scrambler 400x then Interceptor 650 then at Last continental 650 and New Himalayan 450 . Man!!!! It was confusing in Beginning but as I kept riding different segments i got to find my kind of Motorcycle which Himalayan. ➡️RTR 310 has Character but As Shumi said it has Lot of Vibes. ➡️Speed 400 feels Power packed but It feels Bland after 100-110. ➡️Scrambler Is something i liked very much so much close to what I want. ➡️The Interceptor 650 which i rode felt less connected Handling wise and wobbly after certain speed. ➡️Continental 650 was something i enjoyed thoroughly But suspension and Tyares still something i wasn't comfortable with. ➡️Himalayan Felt as Good as Scrambler and Then some it just Flies , There are Vibes but not much Bothersome as RTR and Feels as Light as scrambler 400x. So finally Last Week i Booked Himalayan 450 , I am soo excited😊 So take Shumis word And Test it for Heck of it And You will find Best Bike For Yourself.
Hello sir... Can u elaborate the engine character between rtr 310 and speed 400 ... I predominantly ride in town limits. I like to ride fast and hard at the same time I need the bike to be under control. Which one of these two suits me better ? Thank you sir .
The entire discussion as usual was superb . But those last few lines regarding how it should have been TVS first and BMW second regarding the development of the 300-400/450cc product line up is bang on.
TVS really peaked at the RTR200 4V, a phenomenal motorcycle, sounds great, handles brilliantly and is still one of my favourite bikes. The only reason I wouldn't buy one is the service experience. I have five friends in two different cities, three of them own an Apache 160 4V, one Ntorq and one ronin, and every single one of them complain about the service and always suggest that I not buy a TVS motorcycle.
I own a RTR 200 4v from 2021.... Service is really an issue.. In some parts of Banglore... But the Authorised Service Center is really great in terms of everything I just travel 70 kms for service... But worth it.... I live in Banglore... Neo tvs is best ❤❤
Waking up in the morning, and getting a notification of MotorInc video and finding an hour long video! God, this really is Sunday. Thanks for the good start of my Sunday :D
I bought a pulsar 150 IN 2010 when I was dreaming about rtr 160. That is how good tvs has been. I remember how gutsy of a bike 160 was. And then rr310 was launched. Damn what an attempt. Had me believing that 10 years down the line (today), there'd be a 600 cc behemoth. That" was" the expectation from tvs' legacy. COMPLETELY agree with you both when you say about transition and how complex introspection and comprehension, that too, at an organisation level is. Would still wish for the tvs to make a standout product. I do wish a similar for Bajaj. And a ktm like stint back in 2013's would be a dream come true from these home grown brands.
Took it for a test ride. Got it back faster than the test ride limit kilometers wise and said thank you. That bike is just one thing....VIBRATION and a hand forearm massager. Enfields now feel way way way better in the single cylinder category.
Much appreciated @art_seer! Thanks for your generosity and we're thrilled you're enjoying MotorInc so much! Do stay tuned, we've a plan for even better conversations!
I own a rtr 200 bs6. Wonderful machine. Not without its flaws. Being a machine i expect it to have flaws. What I can't digest is the specialists responsible to fix those flaws are not really specialists. It's been 22000 kms and there's this constant humming noise at idle rpm which increases as u open the throttle. It started from last 500kms, and took it to tvs service center, clearly explained them the issue and they said they wuld look into it and fix. They take the bike in, did the general service and I get a call saying bike is ready. I go chk the bike only to notice that nothing has been solved. All they did was change the engine oil, lube the chain and wash the bike polish it. Although they did tell me they hv inspected the engine head and adjusted "things ", the humming noise exists. The only seemingly valid answer i got from the technician was that it's the nature of rtr engine, its the noise from the timing chain, but clearly the its just been 500 to 600 kms after the noise started. And I had another technician who told me that, " the bike has got a water wash, water wuld have seeped in , once the engine heats up water will evaporate and the noise will be gone ". This is from a so called tvs official technican 😂. So clearly iam done with tvs not bcz the product isnt good only bcz the after sale support is quiet non existent. And to say tvs service isn't cheap. The official schedule requires my bike to turn up for service once in 3 months. And in average its a 1000 rs bill which is always more considering the oil they use needs to be replaced every 2500 kms.
Their service is one such major reason why they're not getting more customers rn Even today I've felt this bike to be very premium even after coming from the KTM showroom after sitting on a d390, as a product it's a good tech loaded bike if speed isn't the only thing we need. But this service experience plays a major role in leaving this bike aside from list even if I liked it initially.
Was eagerly waiting for this first impression. I have one RTR 310 (Base black with quickshifter) from past 5 months and 6600 kms later I can really confirm that Shumi's observations are exactly in line with me. I really think that the base variants are much more bang for buck compared to the top of the line BTO spec variants as they are priced more in line with the likes of Duke 250 and CB300R and offer all the useful features like Quickshifter and Cruise control without losing anything crucial for performance. TVS service needs to improve a lot as it's really bad. Amazing content as always though🔥
I have been riding this bike for the past 3 months. I completely agree with the temperature control seat being very uncomfortable. I have changed my seat to a regular seat and it is very comfortable now. I have the suspension adjusted (with the service center help, I didn't do it myself) and I don't feel that suspension is stiff. It wasn't bad to start off anyway. Performance, feel and the other discussions in this video are on point but I just like the bike for what it is. For me it is AWESOME. And I might be the only guy saying this. TVS service has been really good for me. The helped with the seat discomfort issue and in general service and service updates. I owned a RTR 2004v previously and back then the service experience was pure 💩, but now it has been good. Hope it lasts long.
Do you have adjustable suspension? Or did you get the normal suspension only retuned? Because if that's possible I'd like to try that (I have normal suspension and I think the rear could be a little softer I have no complains on the front)
Hey Rahul! Thanks so much for sharing your garage with us! And - congratulations! We are happy that you are enjoying the TVS life. Wish you all the best for your travels with it!
Riding this bike from last 1 month and as this is my first bike and a newbie rider I found it just perfect. I think limiter bands are way too close in urban mode. Secondly i don't know if it is just for me but the turn indicators are shifted way too inside and sometimes I have to move my hand slightly to the right to turn off when switching off right side.
@@gaureeshhegde7865 yes same question, but as I know we can adjust rear suspension there is something 4 setting and I really don't know much about it. If we can adjust stock suspension then it will be a very appealing thing!..
I cannot agree more. I've owned the RTR 180 since 2015 and still stays with me back home in India. After 80 kmph on a highway, the bike feels its doing a lot of stuff. I am running a BMC air filter as the only mod with Michelin grippy tyres for the odd size it comes with. I can say that despite being new, old, carb or FI it still feels a lot mechanical. I still love the feel and hence haven't sold it yet. This was the main reason for me to source a used Gen 2 Duke 390, a used Z800 and then a used Z900 to enjoy these bikes for what they are. I still ride the RTR when am back home in India. So it depends on what the user wanted back then but then again, today we have tried and tested much more refined bikes above and below this bike.
Thank you motor inc. you guys are good. I bought Scrambler 400x recently and your reviews helped me made up my mind as well as numerous test rides of various bikes I did over last 6-8 months. Hoping for a good journey on my 400x. Cheers.
I bought my first bike back in 2011, TVS Apache 180 white (Old style one). Its covered almost 1L+ kms. I paid whooping 1Lakh at that point for a bike. I'm 100% satisfied with the performance. I still remember the college days when I'm at any traffic signal, wait for green and accelerate, My bike will just jump and sprint and i was always in the first position. Just like a wow !!!
I own a RTR200 in Dubai... Honestly there is a speedometer error of 7kmph... Single ride me bing 100kg... The bike cruises freely even with a wind blast at 110kmph on gps thats 117 to 118 kmph in up s and downs... I feel to upgrade now and i now m firm to go for the RR310... KUDOS to you and all that u mentioned in this... Thanks a ton bro... 🙏... ❤ From Dubai🥂
Great informative conversation..... I am a proud owner of tvs Apache since last 15 years... I had Orange tvs apache RTR 160 fi version which was launched in 2008, back then it was a bold move by tvs to put fuel injection in a 160 cc motorcycle... But the market was not ready for such technical change because people have to pay more for the same CC motorcycle... I rode my RTR fi for more than 2.5 lac kms... Still have it in my garage... It was way smoother than any other carburettor varient motorcycle, had better fuel economy and way better sound.... But the company discontinued this variant after just one year. And now every other bike is having fuel injection system... I bought Apache RTR 200 4v bs6 6 months back... And it is significant improvement in terms of fit and finish, and its engine is a Gem 💎 It too have few technologies which people may consider gimmick but what tvs is doing is setting a target for other companies and for themselves as well... What indian mass motorcyclists want is the value proposition... If they have made RTR 310 just 40k or 50k cheaper, their sales would have set new milestones.... I would love to see if tvs can make BMW's marvelous engine and their technology to reach more people in future.... Because in the end tvs is a INDIAN BRAND not a European sales person.... Love you guys... Keep posting such videos, i wish shumi to add few short clips from his riding experiences to these videos... ✌🏻😇
@@motorinc This is my first bike so its been phenomenal. One thing I couldn't wrap my head around was when Shumi said it's not exciting enough( maybe because he's way more experienced than me😅) because I tested the Duke 250 too and this one seemed more agressive and exciting to me. And I have gotten pretty used to the vibrations they don't feel bothersome to me. Couldn't have been happier😃 Oh and I absolutely don't get tired of looking at it and I think you guys would love the Blak and Red more
Another top notch MotorInc First episode! It's a bit suprising to see the direction TVS are taking! Also after watching so many of your videos, yesterday, I went take a test ride of the Triumph Speed 400, RE Hunter 350 and RE Meteor 350. I just wanted to share my experience and ask a few doubts in case either Shumi or Karthikeya stumble upon this comment. 1) Triumph Speed 400: Having heard so many positive views including those on the MotorInc First episode for the Speed 400, I was extremely keen to test ride this bike. And when I rode it, it was instantly likeable. The seating position wasnt extremely comfortable but it wasnt something I would complain about. The bike is eager to accelerate and is yet happy to cruise around calmly in low gears. It was compact and it ticked most of my boxes. I never rode a motorcycle above 150CC and I was quite nervous about the Speed 400. However the bike never felt intimidating. As Shumi said, vibrations do creep in at around 6500rpm but in Mumbai roads in the evening, i could never maintain those RPMs long enough to see how uncomfortable it could be for me. The suspension setting was however extremely comfortable. As somebody who would rarely gun their motorcycle, I feel the vibration issue won't be a bother for me. The Triumph showroom staff were quite responsive and were eager to make a strong pitch. One thing that caught my attention was they said that the prices may be raised very soon and urged me to make a booking (refundable). Overall, the Speed 400 makes a great first impression and RE had work to do to sway me away. 2) RE Meteor 350: After the great experience at Triumph, I visited the RE Showroom and the difference was instant. While the Triumph showroom was very sparsely populated with customers, the RE showroom was overflowing with them. It took a little effort to get somebody's attention and book a test ride. However once they booked the test ride, the staff were helpful. I am somebody who has ridden the Avenger 150 Street quite a while ago, and the riding position of the Meteor 350 instantly reminded me of my Avenger Steet. The longer I rode it, the better it felt. The J series engine is surprisingly likeable and is at its best calmly thumping away at moderate speeds with absolute ease. I really liked the Meteor 350 but it did feel a bit heavy for me. 3) RE Hunter 350: As somebody who is 5'4", the Hunter 350 is something I was really looking forward to, given its compact dimensions. Surprisingly however, I didn't feel comfortable in its riding position and found it a wee bit aggressive for my liking. However there was nothing to complain about the engine and the performance, it was just another J Series engine, happily thumping away. Overall, I didn't gravitate towards it due to the seating position. As I was just strolling around in the showroom admiring the RE Shotgun 650 and the new Himalayan, my eyes fell on the RE Bullet 350 Golden edition. It was a beauty to behold but I was apprehensive to test ride it as I was always intimidated by the Bullet and the Classic. Upon my friends insistence, I bit the Bullet (pun intended ;-) ). 4) RE Bullet 350: The moment I began riding the Bullet 350, I was surprised at how uncomplicated the motorcycle is. It was comfortable, a very nice riding position, and was happy to chug along without asking you to keep revving, and at the same time wasnt shy to pick up the pace if needed. As somebody who 3 minutes ago was intimidated by the Bullet 350, I was surprised at how much I enjoyed riding it. The suspension was decent as well and leaps and bounds better than the RE Hunter 350. Overall, I really liked it, but the weight was challenging for me at times while trying to park or move the motorcycle from parking. As somebody who is more inclined towards the Avenger Steet style cruiser-like seating position, I quite enjoyed the Meteor 350 and also liked the Bullet 350. The seating position on the Triumph Speed 400 wasn't an issue, but sadly the Hunter 350 did bother me. I am now slightly confused as to which motorcycle to choose. My mind says the Speed 400. At 2.33 lakh ex showroom, it feels value for money and something that is calm yet sporty. However, after riding the Meteor 350 and the Bullet 350, I am really attracted to the J Series engine and the riding position of the Meteor 350 and the pure motorcycle experience on the Bullet 350. I do have an issue with my right knee and ankle due to chronic injury and the weight of the Meteor 350 and the Bullet 350 did seem concerning to me. Could you help me with any suggestions on what points to further consider to help me make my decision and perhaps give your suggestions on what other motorcycles I could consider? My primary use case will be commuting in the city and an occasional long ride every few weeks. Your content has inspired me to get back to riding motorcycles after a gap of nearly 6 years. I know this is a long post but I will be extremely grateful for your views and suggestions! Thanks in advance!! Please continue posting awesome automotive content and thank you for the uncompromising quality.
Hey @mrkszz! We loved reading this comment! So much thought in there! We always say choose the motorcycle your heart prefers over the one your mind recommends - it works out better. That seems to mean the M350 or the B350 for you. The primary choice you're making is the riding position, the Bullet will be more comfortable. We're not sure about the extent of your injuries but if you pay extra attention when you're coming to a stop, you can learn to favour the other leg and get around the weight of the bike.
Hey guys, you're awesome! Just one video and you've given me so much clarity. The way you go deep into even the smallest topics is amazing. I really appreciate it, thanks a lot!
@@Yeahbois69 from what i've seen, they don't give a f about marketing in india. it hurts cuz they make some really great bikes but they never hit indian market. i wish these japanese automobile manufacturers take india seriously.
The main concern is if TVS service can support the range of electronics provided. There is only 1 showroom with a display RTR 310 in the whole of bhopal and that too is heavily abused by "Reviewers" and since they remove the speedo wiring. The odo is still at 8kms & the audacity to blatantly lie about it and not decrease the price is insane (i crosschecked the chassis no. from the videos & the actual bike).
I've been following Motorinc's content for a while now and I'm really enjoying it. I love the way you guys deliver the information. The way you present it keeps me engaged even if the video is lengthy. Also, had just one request from Motorinc, just wanted to get the startup tune which is played in #first videos. Really love that startup tune. Thank you and keep up the good work 😊
Tbh I agree with the TVS experience, but it's mostly limited to the relatively newer chains. The old stalwarts maintained their quality. The upbit remains the company is extremely responsive to poor service complaints and other options are given and the request is catered to. The company therefore seems serious on the complaint. Something I have never seen when we complain on Honda or Hero, Bajaj is a different issue altogether so not including them into the comparison.
I feel so connected to you both! It's so wholesome seeing two friends discussing bikes with such a neat presentation. You guys are the best in the business, very different from other reviewers. Keep Growing ❤
No one can deny but Ducati motorcycles have always been the inspiration for TVS team whenever a product is launched or updated. I wouldn't be surprised if the upcoming 310 adv from TVS looks a lot like the Multistrada 😅.
I was on my toes waiting for Shumi's review of RTR310. Alas, I couldn't wait anymore and bought the RTR310 Dynamic variant before the review dropped. Interesting observation after around 4k KMs, don't go for the top spec off the chart, instead get the adjustable suspension option. Added benefit of a TPMS will surely help in the longer tours. The adjustable suspension is actually way too easy to bring the ride quality back to the comfort pack. Yes, THE BIKE IS LOUD, only bothers when revving at low speeds but at high speed on highways, there is no issue of noise hitting the rider. 4 years late into the market, but not bad for someone who wants an aggressive beginner bike. Thanks Shumi and Karthikeya for the amazing sessions that you guys put up! Much love ❤️❤️❤️
Last month I took my brother’s Ntorq to a TVS service station in Chennai and that was my 1st experience with the TVS service. 30mins it took for a consultant to attend my scooter while they’re busy fighting between their colleagues. The person who attended my scooter dint pay attention to my concerns and I know from the beginning. Delivery happened in 1 day, they rectified 2 complaints out of 8 I have stressed while putting job card. The delivery person convincing me to take the scooter out now and bring back in 2days to check the other problems. There was a guy shouting with 310rr, a guy with XL front fork issue. Then I understood TVS doesn’t show partiality treating the customer 😂
I can relate with that shouting rr310 guy😂. Went to dynamic tvs dabri, Delhi somedays ago, had a similar experience. They take so long just to make a jobcard let alone doing the actual service, and then they tell you after 1-2 hrs that they don’t even have the parts required!
I've loved this format and I've said this so often. The other thing which I really appreciate is that these guys call a spade, a spade. If there's something about a bike (or a car) that isn't so good, they call it out and that's what we the public want- honesty. Some of the other (auto jurnos/ reviewers) seem too indebted to the auto companies and it comes out in their reviews.
Inspired from Ducati Street fighter, wannabe duke, dressed like Bumblebee but with Ronin dna 😂 Meh at best ! Holla Shumi and Kartik ! Your Conversation has become the staple main course of my Sunday Brunch !
When I saw this bike, my first impression is that TVS really wanted to compete against the Duke 390 and then they decided to build a naked version of the rr310. So they called the engineers and built its naked version by giving some new electronics which bikes like Multisrada has. In terms of design, it looks like some Chinese company created a cheap replica of Duke 390. And also I want to add this, they (TVS) delayed the live launch vid further and my impression is that if the launch vid didn't go well, then the bike itself isn't gonna be good.
I don't think any other channel has gained trust and grown more quickly and effectively than MotorInc. Just amazing work, please give us more and more cause I just can't get enough of these reviews!
Thanks Gautam! We didn’t plan to grow quickly but we were clear that we wanted to help the motoring community as effectively as possible. Clearly MotorInc Fam sees this and we love the love!
I was cooking pav bhaji as Sunday breakfast when this episode showed up and I was like cooking gai bhad me I wanna listen to them, it’s just so so informative and enjoyable at the same time, it’s as joyful as listening to a bike up shift or down shift, just a beautiful series BTW still waiting for vitpilen 250 motor inc first and that video where you teach us how to take care of your bike at home
I hope this channel to grow to the stars and shumi to provide and aware us always like this. Thanks to both of you. Been watching you since powerdrift. ✊✊
Would be great if you could share your thoughts (via podcast) how to treat your machines to extend their life. How not to abuse the machines (motorcycle and cars). By the way I just love the content it feels real and authentic. You people are doing fabulous work.
It's a Sunday morning and two buddies are discussing bikes. Sipping a cup of tea and I am watching it although I don't plan to buy the RTR. Superb quality content.
The numbers the marketing doesn't matter... Just the conversation between these two tells a whole lot real word story.... Thank for the information... I was thinking of buying one it helps a lot
I am glad to report that I have seen one rtr 310 on the streets. I saw it on two separate occasions on the tamhini ghat road, both on the weekends. He/she was kitted up and exploring the motorcycle.
Cant believe that they didn't do one in Ferrari Ducati S1000rr RED! You have do a red if it looks like the street fighter v2/v4! Loud Red! Bumble bee yellow! Classy Nardo Grey! ( with yellow highlights like suzuki) Stealthy pure blacked out!
A wonderful episode, Kartikeya and Shumi...I can relate to the points made..Vibrations ..the 310s....TVS ...The Vibrating System? Naah, it used to mean "The Very Special" ones...about that comment by Shumi about a bike getting into perfect cruising mode...I had the first model Ind-Suzuki AX100...and at the same time, my RD350..the RD was also straining at the leash, you had to be accelerating or braking...the Suzuki, a fraction of the power, but highway riding, it was simply in a zone at 80,(remember it was the '80s, no divided highways, so that was about as fast as you could safely ride)...the smoothness, awesome...it was the bike I selected out of these two, to ride from Pune to Delhi in 1989.. and another point, I have noticed....have you noticed, as I once did, that the engines of scooters feel infinitely much much smoother than bikes of almost any displacement? I realised that when after many years, I got myself an Activa, to join my RD and my first gen Pulsar 150 DTSi...a ride out to the old Katraj ghat in 2003 on the Activa seemed an eye opener...about the TVS speciality of engineering prowess, and the success of the Apaches, the apparently confused clutter of gimmicky additions can, with residual vibrations, keep the buying public away..I really wish TVS the best, a proud heritage, a wonderful company...thank you both for this wonderful episode, as I said at the outset...
Great video!! On point analysis by Shumi. I own the bike and felt many times like - damn thats exactly how I feel. My overall perspective - great power at a good budget.
My bs4 Apache 200 race edition sits so planted and with very less vibrations at 100s even when it is air/oil cooled. I noticed viberation when was riding my friends RR310 and taught that it needed better service.
I have seen one in Hinjawadi, Pune. Its really loud. Nice review guys. Keep it up. I am planning to upgrade my bike and your reviews are helping me to shortlist the bikes.
Awesome review as always. Just FYI, I took test rides of Speed 400 and Scrambler 400X. I felt Speed 400 to be "pedestrian". 400X was a different story. Just loved it. Booked it immediately. Taking delivery day after tomorrow on gudi padwa (apparently no waiting period, no one seems to be buying it in Navi Mumbai 😊) I have to admit, if it wasn't for Shumi (watching all his videos) I would have probably got the speed 400. Thanks Shumi for jaagofying the inner biker in me. Keep up the amazing work you guys are doing👍
I've been looking for some standard parts like a turn indicator, handle bar end and a new gear lever assembly because my friend dropped the bike while going out of our parking (quite steep incline). It's been 2 months now, still no one responds even 3rd party garages cannot fix as TVS folks will not let us buy those parts individuals and wait times for these parts is already 3-4 weeks, won't even accept full payment upfront as per what 3rd party service people told me. It's a RTR 200 and the same parts are shared by RTR 160 4v as well. Am now looking to get it fixed as soon as possible and sell it off.
This feels so much like the meal-break automobile discussions me and my colleague have every now and then regarding all the new vehicles getting launched. Exception being neither do I nor does my colleague possess this ocean of knowledge that these two legends do. BUT to the people around us we sound like experienced mechanics (that's what we're told) 😄.
It's been an year with my RR310 and i feel that i got the best one 😂🙌🏻 but i really like TVS since my dad's first bike was star city and now enjoying RR310 these guys have really been doing a great job ❤
I was expecting a lot from this as I got to know that the engine has been re done slightly, I thought the refinement level might have increased but that is not the case I think, was looking forward to the cooled seat because of our climatic conditions. I thought it would be a great touring bike but again tvs let us down, I don't have any issue with linear power delivery, I prefer it actually. For me refinement till 100kmph is a mandatory, I don't care if it starts vibrating after 100 as I mostly cruise at 80 and go till 100 for overtakes, hence scrambler 400x is the bike I will go for personally if I am in the market for a tourer. I was a huge dominar fan till the scrambler was launched.
I can confirm the TVS RR310 service issue. I bought my motorcycle from Bangalore and then later moved to Hyderabad and I tried about 5 service centres since 2019. The service cost isn’t high for TVS but I’m too frustrated at how well they service the bike and most importantly how much they are not accountable with ordering parts when required. The latter was so bad that I eventually ended up ordering parts myself online from 3rd party platforms and go to service centre with them! I’m 32 now and at this point in life where I value my time more than money - hence thinking of upgrading to a premium brand for better service experience. However, I’m extremely pleased with my riding experience and the built of the bike.
TVS Apache 310 R : Naked Bike HERO Karizma XMR : Full faired Sports Bike. I'm Happy and proud to knows that our own INDIAN Motorcycles manufacturers/Companies are producing something really good looks and Designs motorcycles.... 😳😲 🥳🎉 I'm hoping that someday very soon our INDIAN MOTORCYCLES COMPANIES would be considered as one to be qualify/competitor to world's well-known 4 GREAT LEGENDS companies/manufacturers A.K.A. 👇🏻 1). YAMAHA 2) HONDA 3). SUZUKI 4). KAWASAKI 5). TVS, HERO MOTOCORP ( coming soon ) 😊 Jai Hind.. Dhanyabad. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
For a longggggggg time I am waiting for this from the day I test rides this the same thought was in my mind and now my thoughts have a milestone from shumi. ❤
I think if the R&D departments of all these motorcycle companies spend some time listening to these guys, they would come out with the perfect motorcycle in the world. These guys are sooo good.
I think it's very good arguments about motorcycle and end with summary about it and i like most your preference for buying that bike and thank you keep doing it
Took delivery of BTO variant with both the packages included. Few things I noticed which you guys also pointed: 1) Climate seat is just a gimmick. 2) Bike does feel premium with the switches and overall design. 3) Cost is bit high for BTO variant(too high if compared with 390 duke) Haven't touched suspension setup yet will play with it once i spend some time with it. And God knows what kind of service TVS has to offer. Hope for the 👌
Nice video as always. Like the in depth analysis. Best part, it never feels like two experts are talking, everything is explained in such a nice cohesive manner. Also, I know maybe it's asking for a lot, but can you guys make a video or even a shorts on bikes that can be real good candidate for an one bike garage. Maybe across different price points.
Always a Pleasure to listen to you guys! I think you guys should do something on the lines of Top Gear Specials(Vietnam special was sheer joy) , but with bikes.
When Shumi says.. "Ride the RTR 200 ride the entorq 125, they are phenomenal".. I cannot agree more. Recent I have the fortune to ride a Ntorq at the hills of Sikkim. The things that the small scooter can pull off is Phenomenal. I was so so impressed with that. The Ntorque impressed me more than some bigger bikes. Everything about the product be that the power, suspension tuning, sound, equipment and features is just spot on it's an all rounder. It takes a team of really enthusiastic team of engineers make this kind of brilliant product. Sad to see the company take this kind of a pivot. I really think this pivot started from the Ronin, now it is effecting other products.
⚠ Updates:
*Cruise control in reserve*
It is supposed to work in reserve - TVS sent us a video showing us that it does.
*Cruise control in Rain Mode*
TVS says they're checking why it didn't work in Rain on our test bike - _because it is supposed to._ However, the documentation that came along with the motorcycle does mention clearly that on both stock and IMU-equipped models, Rain, Track and Supermoto modes do not have cruise control enabled, only Urban and Sport do.

So finally Last Week i Booked Himalayan 450 , I am soo excited😊
So take Shumis word And Test it for Heck of it And You will find Best Bike For Yourself.
Thanks for the update! Glad you worked it out @Asaritwo!
🤷♂️ Just seems right…
TVS really peaked at the RTR200 4V, a phenomenal motorcycle, sounds great, handles brilliantly and is still one of my favourite bikes. The only reason I wouldn't buy one is the service experience. I have five friends in two different cities, three of them own an Apache 160 4V, one Ntorq and one ronin, and every single one of them complain about the service and always suggest that I not buy a TVS motorcycle.
That’s really a shame. Those are great products and they deserve better.
I own a RTR 200 4v from 2021.... Service is really an issue.. In some parts of Banglore... But the Authorised Service Center is really great in terms of everything I just travel 70 kms for service... But worth it....
I live in Banglore... Neo tvs is best ❤❤

Good points Lakshay! Thank you!
Took it for a test ride. Got it back faster than the test ride limit kilometers wise and said thank you. That bike is just one thing....VIBRATION and a hand forearm massager.
Enfields now feel way way way better in the single cylinder category.
Great content as always.
How about that loose engine cowl hanging down ? Is it going strong or it has become looser ?
@@oriondoublecrossed no plastic has loosened. That includes the kaul
Their service is one such major reason why they're not getting more customers rn
Even today I've felt this bike to be very premium even after coming from the KTM showroom after sitting on a d390, as a product it's a good tech loaded bike if speed isn't the only thing we need.
Thanks Aman! This is really helpful!
Hey bro what will you suggest duke 250 or tvs rtr310 and tell your experience which will be helpfull for me
I have been riding this bike for the past 3 months.
I have the adjustable suspension variant @@gaureeshhegde7865
Thanks for sharing your motoring life Chris!
Thank you motor inc. you guys are good. I bought Scrambler 400x recently and your reviews helped me made up my mind as well as numerous test rides of various bikes I did over last 6-8 months. Hoping for a good journey on my 400x. Cheers.
Congratulations! Wish you awesome travels with your Triumph!
And it is significant improvement in terms of fit and finish, and its engine is a Gem 💎
It too have few technologies which people may consider gimmick but what tvs is doing is setting a target for other companies and for themselves as well... ✌🏻😇
HOLY LORD FINALLY!!! Even though I bought the bike months ago I am SO EXCITED to see this video! Hope Shumi enjoyed riding this bike

Oh no! Thats terrible!
Thanks for sharing that. Good to know that they are trying to change things.

This is the truly objective bike channel out there. I specifically wait for YOUR reviews when a bike comes out. Leagues above other channels
Thank you very much for the kind words @andydrums4333.
Interesting observation…
I don't think any other channel has gained trust and grown more quickly and effectively than MotorInc. Just amazing work, please give us more and more cause I just can't get enough of these reviews!

True TVS makes good stuff service need to improve there service and learn to care for the machines.
Indeed!
I was cooking pav bhaji as Sunday breakfast when this episode showed up and I was like cooking gai bhad me I wanna listen to them, it’s just so so informative and enjoyable at the same time, it’s as joyful as listening to a bike up shift or down shift, just a beautiful series
BTW still waiting for vitpilen 250 motor inc first and that video where you teach us how to take care of your bike at home
Glad you’re enjoying the MotorInc experience! We’re waiting for the Vitpilen 250 test bike to come. And the other request is noted! Thanks Vinayak!
Man i would just sit and hear these conversations all day!!! amazing amount of insight
Thanks Abhishek.
I hope this channel to grow to the stars and shumi to provide and aware us always like this. Thanks to both of you. Been watching you since powerdrift. ✊✊
Thank you so much @ravanbro!
37:06 - the Chetak reference sent me flying back in time....
Hey TB! Thanks for hanging out with us! Have an awesome day!
Alright! Every motorcycle must be used and well!
Cant believe that they didn't do one in Ferrari Ducati S1000rr RED! You have do a red if it looks like the street fighter v2/v4!
Loud Red!
Bumble bee yellow!
Classy Nardo Grey! ( with yellow highlights like suzuki)
Stealthy pure blacked out!
37:00 as a Chetak rider., it was a special and unique thing which company didnt mentioned in features. use to Enjoy that..
Thanks you for the good one hour, really enjoyed it.
Thanks a ton! We'll pass your compliments on to the team!
Exactly! Thanks for sharing your rides with us! You’re exactly right.
Finally... Was waiting for this one since long...
♥️
Great video!! On point analysis by Shumi. I own the bike and felt many times like - damn thats exactly how I feel.
My overall perspective - great power at a good budget.
Dutch national anthem at Suzuka followed by a Motorinc First Episode. That's a lovely Sunday for me.
My bs4 Apache 200 race edition sits so planted and with very less vibrations at 100s even when it is air/oil cooled. I noticed viberation when was riding my friends RR310 and taught that it needed better service.
Understandable! And sad.
I have seen one in Hinjawadi, Pune. Its really loud. Nice review guys. Keep it up. I am planning to upgrade my bike and your reviews are helping me to shortlist the bikes.
Nice! New bike discussions are fun! Keep us posted please!
Awesome review as always.
Just FYI, I took test rides of Speed 400 and Scrambler 400X. I felt Speed 400 to be "pedestrian". 400X was a different story. Just loved it. Booked it immediately. Taking delivery day after tomorrow on gudi padwa (apparently no waiting period, no one seems to be buying it in Navi Mumbai 😊)
I have to admit, if it wasn't for Shumi (watching all his videos) I would have probably got the speed 400.
Ouch. Would you like us to try and help Parth?
S's smile after saying "unless you're into pain" is priceless. 😈
This is the hardest quick summary in the history of First Impression. A big salute to Karti Sir🙏
Thanks for that AG!
The criticality is unmatched with any other channel and is what manufacturers should adhere to! Hats off to Shumi 💯
Riding this buke for past 5 months . Puts a smile on my face everytime. ❤
Awesome! Glad you're enjoying your riding!
These episodes feel like therapy 😌
🤜🏽🤛🏽
Just brilliant, the format, the guys and the detail❤ keep it up, much love🙏🏽
Glad you enjoyed it! Thank you so much!
This is the only channel i watch 40+ minutes video in TH-cam ❤❤❤
This feels so much like the meal-break automobile discussions me and my colleague have every now and then regarding all the new vehicles getting launched. Exception being neither do I nor does my colleague possess this ocean of knowledge that these two legends do. BUT to the people around us we sound like experienced mechanics (that's what we're told) 😄.
Keep it at it! Thanks a ton!
It's been an year with my RR310 and i feel that i got the best one 😂🙌🏻 but i really like TVS since my dad's first bike was star city and now enjoying RR310 these guys have really been doing a great job ❤
As always a delight to watch two gentleman talk about motorcycle. Is it possible to have a episode on basic of motorcycle riding. A request.
Thank you very much! Request noted! We are working on how to do basic motorcycle riding as content… stay tuned Arul!
Thanks for sharing your perspective Ashutosh! The cooled seat may not be a bad idea but it certainly needs more thought and comfort.
Such a pity. A happy rider being turned into an unhappy owner.
Just another energetic Sunday, ...having breakfast with these guys 😌 Happy Sunday
Thanks Satyajit! To you too!
Love that Kartik has also started the vitty one liners in middle of Shumi’s commentary. Hilarious back and forth. 😂
😁
Best podcast for moto enthusiast. Looking for more such videos.

🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
For a longggggggg time I am waiting for this from the day I test rides this the same thought was in my mind and now my thoughts have a milestone from shumi. ❤
Thanks for letting us know!
I think if the R&D departments of all these motorcycle companies spend some time listening to these guys, they would come out with the perfect motorcycle in the world. These guys are sooo good.
Thanks for the faith Siddharth!
1000 years later.....
Finally I was waiting for this shit
Love you guys for making the Sunday best
❤️
I think it's very good arguments about motorcycle and end with summary about it and i like most your preference for buying that bike and thank you keep doing it
You're welcome @mohamedhanith2221. Glad we can help.
Took delivery of BTO variant with both the packages included. Few things I noticed which you guys also pointed:
1) Climate seat is just a gimmick.
2) Bike does feel premium with the switches and overall design.
3) Cost is bit high for BTO variant(too high if compared with 390 duke)
Haven't touched suspension setup yet will play with it once i spend some time with it.
We have a lot of ideas on the boil! Stay tuned!
The part where Shumi talks about transitioning, it makes so much sense especially in the context of Jaguar rebranding themselves
But do you think it's been received well @nihaalkrishna9264? 😅
Excellent story and point! Thanks Shovan!
