How to change Auto Locking Feature. Lock at 15 mph, and unlock when in Park. Infiniti/ Nissan

The vehicles shown are a 2009 Infiniti FX50 and a 2015 Infiniti QX70.

I actually like the default where it locks when you hit 15, just safer driving with the doors locked. Mine stopped working like that years ago - not sure why the change. Sounds like a dealer has to reprogram it to get it back. Thanks for the video!

Great. Wish I could get the unlock in park, but I'm not going to pay the dealer for that lol. But every time I have friends in the car they try to open the doors before I shut the vehicle off but after I put it in park and I end up having to press the button because I hate people fumbling with the door locks

I always knew that the settings were there, but owning the Murano spoiled is, as to how much power we could actually have in our own driveway, 😂😂

For me re act differently, when i press unlock twice dosnt open when i put parking unless i switch off the car then opens, Any idea 😊

hey Ed you are doing Gods work i’ve owned my g37x coupe for 6 year and never knew you could program the lock settings this way i was looking in the settings in the gps and found nothing. this is great and this is a old video i had to go back to for the info 👍🏽

You're welcome, glad it could help. Which of the window features do you want off, auto up or down? You can't disable the auto down, but the UP feature usually stops working when you disconnect your battery.

Otherwise, you can still operate the windows in manual mode by operating the switches differently. They have two detents as shown in this video - th-cam.com/video/8x9fDDDQwik/w-d-xo.html

What you said about the automatic locking: How do I get rid of that? My damn car locked me out 2x with the key inside! Logic should say: If car is on & no one seated=DO NOT LOCK! This automatic stuff is NOT so smart or intelligent! I always thought FOBS are a bad idea (years ago when I saw my first) I never had them till very recently, and now I see I have to have an extra key in wallet lest the car lock me out. I want to turn auto locking off! Full stop!

When I hit the Unlock button on the FOB, I only want the driver door to unlock. Right now, all 4 doors unlock. Infinity G37 2011.
