I totally hate street noise too! It grates my autistic bones sooooo much. I hate aircon too. Just can’t deal with air hitting me at like 15 degrees when the ambient office temperature is like 21 degrees. My body screams “does not compute” all fudging day. Makes me feel such a child that I can’t control my focus and frustration, but it’s a lifelong disability so I’ve got to accept it and ask for reasonable adjustments at work.
I can deal with a lot of heat so unless it’s like over 30 degrees with high humidity I’m grand. Didn’t get much over 28 in the mini heatwave where I live. Bit gutted, but 40 degrees in southern England looked bit rough…
Kudos to you for ensuring the video sound quality at the sacrifice of cooling! Hopefully it’s more pleasant temperature now.

If we actually heal our gut with probiotics and eat anti inflammatory foods then we can heal our gut holistically. Look into naturopathy healing if you don’t want to take steroids as it has really bad side effects for the organs that are not disclosed

Why didn’t you take injection? Less side effects and no damage to liver and kidney.

in the uk steroid injections are for acute pains and injuries of a particular body part like a shoulder or wrist. i have an autoimmune disease that affects my arteries. it is also easier to manage dose and tapering off steroids with pills, and you have a consistent level of steroids in your system by taking pills daily. takayasus is a very rare condition and takes a lot of fine tweaking with medications.
