Thanks again for bringing us along Hermano! Sardinia is on my Must See list. I also found out recently that I have family from there. Anyway, if you are ever in the Santa Cruz, NorCal, Central Coast California area I can show you some amazing routes. Grazie🙏🏽
Ha ha, each nation thinks that these "other figs" belong to another nation! In Greece we call them "figs of the francs" (french). And you need running water (river, stream, tap etc.) to clean them from all these small thorns.
Hi guys, if you ever go back to Sardegna I will arrange accommodation for you in my Sister and Brother in law’s B&B in Boza, if you are passing through there. It’s called Park Garden B&B. It’s not open all year, so let me know. Great video as always! Cheers!
My 2cts story about taking a ferry from Sardegna-civittavecchia(north rome). Took all my gear except my 20usd shaver. Guess what..it was stolen during the trip and i personally think that was 90% chance stolen by crew members at departure or on arrival. Don t leave anything on a ferry...lock your bikes as well.this happens off summer season in november Oh one last thing..lots of dogs in Sardegna..if sleeping outdoor they can smell you from very very far.once they start barking they wont stop until you pack and leave...😅
We had an opposite experience then 😱 The ferries felt super easy and safe, we never locked our bikes, and we met zero dog on Sardegna (way more in Sicilia in the next episod)
Do you ever have problems with hosts not letting you take your bicycles inside? For example when you book accommodation do you say you have bicycles with you or you just arrive and it's always ok? Really enjoying this series of your videos, thank you!
I never had any trouble anywhere. Either the bikes are somewhere in a garden or a shack. Or we can take them with us in the room or on a balcony. Also I never travel with a lock.
Truly enjoying this virtual trip of yours (virtual for me... :) ). Those tan lines are hardcore! :)
Fanny and I disagree on a few things, but we agree on the important ones: sun ☀ bikes 🚴 cakes 🎂 and coffee ☕
Grazie

Wow very nice, Sardinia is so beautiful ! Is there a boat from Sardinia directly to Sicily, or do you have to go over the mainland?
Directly from one island to the next. It is a long journey as you can see on our faces at the end, we did not sleep well on board 😅

No one wants to take responsibility for this treacherous fruit!

Thanks! We'd love to go back to Sardegna sometime. We absolutely loved the place ❤️

@@sofianeshl Interesting and good to know, thanks Sofiane!
Fanny , where did you learn your English ? Lovely accent , sounds like London ?
French accent mostly 😂 but it could be a mix of Australian and English (stayed in Australia a while, working with English people)
Thank you for sharing your biketrip. What is your tire-recommendation for this type of of biketrip?
Roads can be in a bad shape so I recommend 32 or 35c's slick
If you's riding carbon bikes how do you protect them from frame bags etc rubbing.
We put some thick tape where the rubbing occurs.
Lovely couple
Awesome suntan both
Thanks, we're pretty proud of that 😁
