How to Remove Password in Windows 10 - Full Tutorial

In today’s tutorial, I’m going to show you how to remove your password from your computer in Windows 10.
To remove your password in Windows 10:
1. Go into the Windows start bar, and type in “Password”.
2. From the search results, click on the “Change your password” system settings search result.
3. A “Sign-in options” dialog window will now be displayed.
4. From here, click on the “Password” section, and click on the “Change” button.
5. A “Change your password” dialog window will now be displayed.
6. From here, you’ll have to enter your current password, and then click on the “Next” button.
7. Now from this screen, we are asked what we want our new password to be. In order to remove your existing password, simply leave the two password fields empty, and click on the “Next” button, and then “Finish”.
8. Your computer’s password will now be successfully removed, and you’ll be able to sign into your computer without a password.

WRONG, why are these recent guides so SO wrong. It clearly says the new password (blank fields) dont meet the minimum requirement. What this video shows ONLY works if you are not using a Microsoft account/password, meaning when you go to your info (settings, account), you are using a local account. If you are logging in with an account linked to microsoft, you cannot remove the password. You MUST change the account you are logging in with to a local account, when you can leave things blank (e.g theres nothing to log into).

Thank you. I live in Florida. Lightning strikes all the time and power goes out. And I want my computer back on with me having to go to the computer and enter my pass word. the computer has one job and doesn't need to be secured. In other words thanks and I gave you a thumbs up.

Easy fix go to your information Top option in the same place where Sign in options are and then in the your information tab you can change your user account to local user do that and then u can remove ur password

Everything was fine for a month, now it asks for a password again when turning on the PC.

On my copy of windows 10 this doesn't work at all. I can get part way in but the only screen I end up with is it asks for my current password and the line below you I MUST enter a new password no other options are available. Another option I found comes in through a different door but the end is the same.
You can't exit a blank entry it won't let me.
I can't believe that creating a password was an irreversible function. But it appears to be that way.
It got so bad when I tried to do it a bit different it locked me out for 24 hrs.
I also can't recover my win 10 activation key from a legit DVD. Microsoft only allows a very very stupid bot and no live help. I left a call back for a person and I got a non descript 800 number 8 hrs later at 11:30 at nite. I was asleep imagine that.
I hate windows even more I geuss it knows that's AI !!
