This truck looks amazing with the heigh and the wheels. Purists won’t like it though as expected. That motor definitely needed a carb adjustment, it was idling around 2,000 rpm. It’s great to see these trucks restored. Saving history one vehicle at a time.
I like both stock and custom trucks. I'm planning on doing similar customizations to my 54 truck. I wanna add stuff like new gages, an lcd screen, however I wanna keep the hand cranked windows and other things stock
Nice. Its also cool to have the employees back it outside for you while you videotape it. If I tried that here people would laugh me out. Southern hospitality I guess...
Funny how people want to say something that belongs to someone else is "ruined" or "You should have" or "you messed it up". Shows how shallow and narrowed minded they are. People have the free will to do what they want to "their" own vehicles and do what "you" want to yours. Clean truck in this video
I'm not sure I would call this "restored" so much as "rebuilt." With that many modern parts, can you really call it a '53 Chevy anymore? But, that is an impressive amount of work that has gone into that truck!
It's just simple customizations they did. Your right that they didn't really restore it as most of the original parts are gone, but it does have impressive customizations
I am currently restoring my 1967 Chevy C10 Shortbed, it has a 283 in it and just rebuilt it, he has this idoling way to high and only gets 2,500 rpm from his idle, you need to set it down to 1,500 or so.
Sure is one niiccceee looking truck. Has the classic looks and modern tech inside too, it being lowered looks awesome but man you'd be so afraid your gonna scrape it everywhere lol.
This car is a piece of art. I just don't like low profile tires. I would modify it, so It has some ground clearance and use it till it (or probably me sooner) die. :)
@shivam220 well take that back it looks very nice but if it was a bit higher be nice but GREAT VIDEO KYLE! truck looks nice that comment was before vid
Is this sold? For the right price I'd like to aquire it and tweek it to my taste. Engine swap to LS3 fuel injection, add the original bumpers, ride stance and change those cheap hideous wheels to some nice staggered Billet wheels
283 and 350 are both SBCs...as fantastic as the 350 is (and I own a pile of 'em), the 283 is a bold choice versus the ubiquitous 350. I wouldn't have used that steering wheel either.
Its a nice truck and all but almost all the original parts are gone now. Is it really even a 1953 chevy aside from the body and the side vents? Plus the rims are ugly
When the bass goes a bumpin, your gonna feel it, it being so pressed up to the seat like that. LOL. Should be in the box in the back, with a tuneau cover.
While it is pretty, and probably a hot performer, it is not a restored truck, but rather a truck made of parts and pieces to look somewhat like a 1953 Chevy 3100 truck. The original truck would likely have 15" rims with bias ply tires, and an inline overhead valve 6 cylinder engine--likely of 235.5 cubic inch displacement.
That's SICK!!!! This car can easily cost more than $50,000 !! Beautifully restored, and gone an extra mile with all those gadgets. Really cool!
It's not restored. At this point it's a full on custom. Other than that, I do like it and it's very sick
Yuh😊
Better than it going to scrap right ?
Tongue hanging out..gasping for breathe..heart pounding..I had to watch this twice before I could comment, lol. This is one hot monster.
it's amazing on how i was checking back on this truck after a while on their website and later it said "SOLD!"
That is a beauty

My grandpa loves those Chevrolet Pickup Trucks
the 50's trucks, can't live without 'em!
your brave backing that thing out!!!
This truck looks amazing with the heigh and the wheels. Purists won’t like it though as expected. That motor definitely needed a carb adjustment, it was idling around 2,000 rpm. It’s great to see these trucks restored. Saving history one vehicle at a time.
This truck isn't restored though. It's custom. Plus 2k rpm is pretty high
little too dorked out for my taste, I like a truck that can make it over a speed bump.
Thank you!
Joshua Johnson this is the style of choice with these restorations
Don’t talk shi bout ma dads trust befo u get bopped
@@harakirri5857 sir you sound like your crazy
People have their own tastes people like plain Jain trucks or lifted trucks or lowered trucks i don’t see a problem here

That truck would fit in my top 10 coolest trucks
Wow, that's actually beautiful! I didn't think I'd like it at first with the wheels and it being lowered but it's really cool! Great video as always!

Nice Vid!!
"It's ruined!" HOWEVER, I do like this custom truck. I do prefer the stock ones but this one is super IMO. Thanks for sharing.
I like both stock and custom trucks. I'm planning on doing similar customizations to my 54 truck. I wanna add stuff like new gages, an lcd screen, however I wanna keep the hand cranked windows and other things stock

I'd take this over a fancy sports car any day.
My uncle drove one like that on the farm when he was growing up. He said that he ran into the back of a corn wagon. His father wasn't happy.
Master piece. Greatness.

Why the fuck would you lower one of these beautiful trucks?
Nice job. Which color is that?
Wow it looks nice
what a beauty!
Whoever built this thing is a feckin' genius. Why would you ever want to sell it?
That's friggin sweet!
Listen to it roar to life!
it looks awesome only the weels are new and btw they fit the car perfectly
@CarFan1999 your right. If someone is gonna restore any car or truck, they need to leave it as original as possible
Que chulada de camioneta envidia sana por supuesto...
THIS IS FCKING AWESOME!
i need that for my 1st car.
You will get it I promise
wow you picked a good one this time Kyle.
Sure is one niiccceee looking truck. Has the classic looks and modern tech inside too, it being lowered looks awesome but man you'd be so afraid your gonna scrape it everywhere lol.

That baby is hooked.. UP!!
Cool truck
lovly classic love it love it love it.
Beautiful truck, a 2010 Chevrolet aint got nothin' on this!
Awesome truck but why is it lowered? I would not want to drive it over road bumps. It will ruin that nice paint!!
That's why I plan on adding air shocks or airbags to mine so that I can raise it and lower it.
that is one nice truck
The car is awesome
What would you be asking for this Awesome truck?
Nice truck
@shivam220 well take that back it looks very nice but if it was a bit higher be nice but GREAT VIDEO KYLE! truck looks nice that comment was before vid
ITS SO GOD DAMN WINDY IN ALL OF YOUR VIDEOS BUT I LOVE YOU A LOT
Slammed into the weeds and bad as hell. I love the old but goodie series you are doing.
If i drove a truck like this it would look like it was from it's time and it wouldn't have power windows
love the horn lool
07:49
Custom sitched? More like, custom stapled amirite?
Haha, anyway, thanks for the videos as always. Keep up the good work.

@impaladave77
its got to be carbureated. The first two times started easily because it was probably pre-warmed
Cool car!
What are the name of those rims? I have been looking for them all over the place.
283 and 350 are both SBCs...as fantastic as the 350 is (and I own a pile of 'em), the 283 is a bold choice versus the ubiquitous 350.
I wouldn't have used that steering wheel either.
I like it. Stop hating people.
Its a nice truck and all but almost all the original parts are gone now. Is it really even a 1953 chevy aside from the body and the side vents? Plus the rims are ugly
