- Swapped my invidia with a tomei on my 2005 WRX STI
Invidia: Catted, Resonator
Tomei: Catless, No resonator
Conclusions: Tomei is a lot louder with rasp, very dry sounding. More turbo spool sound, with a deeper rumble at idle. Invidia holds a nice rumble tone, not raspy, very crisp sounding.
Overall it’s $600 VS $926

Yeah I never see white ones. Mine is black and the I see some silver and blue ones, but hardly ever white
Tomei setup is too raspy for my taste. The N1 just has such a smoother cleaner tone
And if you wanna stay below the radar of the po-po invidia offers the q300 as well
I love the sound of the n1 it's just deep and has a nice whistle to it
Yeah tomei is loud and raspy, n1 is deeper and brings out the turbo sound more.
That Tomei is just too raspy and crazy sounding for me. The N1 is cleaaannnn and beautiful as hell!
I personally love the tomei sound and the weight reduction of titaniun
I run a mix of both. I have an Invidia Catted Downpipe & A Tomei Axle Back. Sounds very aggressive & man it sounds like a jet you can definitely hear the turbo even at idle.
Just bought my invidia downpipe cause i had an exhaust leak right under the drivers seat, can’t wait to do this same combo

I think tomei titanium took the win on this 1 best sounding exhaust next to the invidia N1 and blitz nur spec and cusco circuit pro I have a turbo xs and it doesn't even compare to the tomei

R P It was a catless invidia downpipe. I think bellmouth? Not too sure but I remember it being Invidia and Catless. Hope that helps
Sure to have shifting sounds of the invidia it’s jsut a much nicer sounding exhaust by far
Tomei to raspy and sound tiny were the invidia is nice deep rumble like a propper subie rumble

@@blakemathews6916 we are in the same exact boat lol , i think if you are going to keep the stock downpipe go with Tomei , that’s what I’m going with . Tomei with stock DP is 😮💨 . Once you put a DP on it it’ll sound way more crazy and obnoxious
