Hi everyone! I decided to change the settings of the older versions of Dangerous to Know to unlisted as the aspect ratios were off. Hopefully, my attempts at keeping the correct aspect ratio while also upscaling it to HD was successful for this one. If you would like to view the older versions & would like the links, please let me know. Also, upscaling to HD is a learning process for me so I'll likely go back to correct past videos with incorrect aspect ratios. Thanks for your patience & understanding!
Wow my first time watching this wonderful film!! Being 65 I'm always search for the films from the past. Thank You for sharing. I will enjoy this again soon💖
Hi everyone !! Ive always enjoyed black & white movies irregardless when it was done there was de encyclopedie & real acting talents which is so rare in todays time thanks for uploading it ❤❤❤😊
Even better the second time around! This upscale HD copy is most enjoyable to watch. Ann May's acting is on par as usual. The scene just after one hour into the movie, with tears rolling down her face gets me every time!
Anyone know when the movie about her life will be out? Im so looking forward to it. I think they put the Barbie doll version of Anna May Wong as promotion so more people know about her. Watch her in Shanghai Express with Marlene Dietress and you will know why she is the one and only Amazing Anna May.
I noticed that Edith Head did the costumes for this, as for many other movies, and it made me wonder. Did AMW have to wear what Head told her to? She had such a great sense of what clothes worked for her, was she able to choose her own outfits?
I just love Anna May Wong. I only wish she'd made more films. All the old films where white people played Asians...(Katherine Hepburn, cringe!) Those were all roles denied to Asian actors. Ms. Wong would have been awesome. The scene towards the end, when she put that record on...then he played the organ. The classiest break up in cinematic history. 🌹
Difficult to describe this excellent movie, but you'll like it. Hard for me to accept Nolan as a Police Detective as he's stereotyped in Hollywood as goofy mouthy P.I.
SPOILERS!!! Did Recka ‘s character arc get to grow at the end, think you? they sure wrote him to illicit audience sympathy… but i don’t think he learned the big lesson alan Ying kept telling him , with her hari kari a HUGE period…

Always great to see Anna May and Akim.
Also nice to see Gail in a sympathetic role.
Thanks
Anna Mae Wong was Absolutely perfect and so beautiful in this movie. I honestly felt her pain.
Her wardrobe perfection!

Dammit. I just watched it again as well and, yup, it got to me again as well. I need a drink.
ill never hear that record w/out thinking of this scene…
Great to see that great actor, Lloyd Nolan as Inspector Brandon. Love Anna May!
Certainly saddened I was unaware of Ms Wong , great pilot, acting, and production, Muchos Gracias

Terrific movie all around!
Anna May is wonderful in this, but also great to see Gail Patrick, another great beauty and fine actress.
Thankyou 🎉
Anna may is a priceless jewel.
You need to de-interlace this one. Everything else looks and sounds fine but it is hard to watch with the interlacing.
It's on my to-do list.
