    Many use copper tape as well..

    Would Buried copper 12 gauge wire into ground and adhering other end to my iron swing give me any grounding effect?

    1. If you put sheet and don't at least sweat - nothing changes
    2. I strongly advise to use mat from conductive rubber or at least add 1k-10k ohm resistor
    3. Without it if any device you hold in and will have a leak - you will die, If ligthing or high volatage cable drop on ground near you rod you will die - instant or in flames of bed.
    4. With resistor you can possibly use ground pin from your installation - with out it you can die too like in point 3

      That's not how electricity works. Electricity follows the easiest path to ground. If a high voltage cable lands near your ground rod, it'll use the ground rod to go to ground. It won't jump up the wire to make a useless circuit out of your bed/tape and then go BACK to ground. It'll just go to ground (the rod) and you'll be fine.

    Puting sheet on top... grounding will work. What bed sheet cotton, polyester or both ..... thank you

    Why don't you just use the grounding that's already in the house wiring?

    • @slippersmomma
      @slippersmomma ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Sometimes the house wiring is done wrong and you can get feeling worse from it. You can test your outlet to make sure the grounding is done right. I like the rod in the ground myself.

      @jimreadey4837 it just seems more sure to me. I don't really trust the house wiring. If it's in the ground I don't have to think about it. I know it's right.

      @@slippersmomma Sounds similar to why I haven’t gotten involved with either of these options that require wiring. I simply spend a lot of time outdoors in bare feet… and also walking on all fours, so my hands are in contact with the Earth, as well. There are so many additional benefits that come from this direct connection, it’s easier for me, and I trust it implicitly.

      @@SpontaneityJD guys electricity on the ground did its path, it won't climb the wire, go to the dude's bed, then come back through the same wire into the ground. It always follows the shorter path to ground

    I connected my bed to the outlets in the house and now I hear AM radio stations in my head while I sleep. Remember if you know any idiots who do this you can now send electrcity back into their house and electrocute them. 😅

      @@SpontaneityJD That grounding your bed makes any difference to your sleep or your health.

    • @SpontaneityJD
      @SpontaneityJD ปีที่แล้ว

      @@vatsmith8759 Idk about grounding your bed as opposed to grounding in general, as I haven’t read a study specifically addressing the bed. That said, I have read a handful of studies that discuss several benefits of grounding: from improving various cardiovascular markers, to lowering inflammation. Feel free to search for them yourself on Google Scholar to learn more if you’d like.
      Thus, it’s likely the same benefits can be expected from grounding your bed. I personally wouldn’t do it, though, as I wouldn’t want lightning to strike while I sleep..
