    Nice video mate. Did you get a street port and bigger valves on the head? Also, are you running a koso 34mm throttle body or did you stick with stock?

      The head is stock as well as the throttle body. I plan on either going 4v or ported 2v with bigger valves, haven't decided yet.

    Hi, question for you. I have installed a big bore kit with ecu flashed by DHM. I for some reason cant even get up to 62mph. Not sure, I am thinking to resend the ECU back to DHM see if they can re-flash it. Question is after installing the kit with flashed ECU did you perform the ECU and TPS reset? And did you install a new updated injector for the 186cc kit? Thinking of getting a power commander for it do you recommend a good power commander? Not sure if its worth it. Please let me know your thoughts. Thanks!

    • @Delinquentsm
      @Delinquentsm  ปีที่แล้ว

      That definitely doesn’t seem right, it should be able to go faster than that. I did perform the ECU and TPS reset. I also did install the pcx150 injector included with the kit since it was tuned for it. If you are going to switch to anything, I liked the aracer rc mini 5 full stand alone unit with the af1 auto tune.

    hey dude, I'm on the line about purchasing a grom. Here in Chicago, I see a lot of people riding them, and they do really look like a lot of fun. I owned an older CB400 and I liked it just because it was really nimble and just really snappy. I just don't know whether or not I''d enjoy the Grom. I was thinking about buying an R6 as well, just for fun. Most of what I do is just ride around. Got any feedback? Was it worth the purchase for you? I''d also like to ride around the suburbs and usually the speed limit is around 45, so I just want to know if shit is also capable

    • @Delinquentsm
      @Delinquentsm  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      The grom is great in the city but if you have to do frequent 60+mph zones, that's when it's no longer fun. It's just a good hoon around bike that gets good gas mileage. Easy to learn how to stunt on them too. So it's purely dependent on how you want to ride it. 🤙

      I just went to Seattle over this last weekend and did 68 with stunt sprockets and Tv cam and reflash. Elevation makes a big difference. At home I cant even do 60 sitting upright with the same setup.

    • @Delinquentsm
      @Delinquentsm  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That is mostly to do with my elevation. I rode the bike in Vegas in October and it performed way better. I only was able to hit 73 with my Grom while people that live at sea level are getting to the low 80s with the same kit.

      I can't remember how much the kit is right off the top of my head, I think for everything you need you are looking at about $800-900 with exhaust and intake and everything.

    I wonder why literally every American leaves their high beam on while riding... In every Grom video in the USA you ride with high beams on. Why???

    • @Delinquentsm
      @Delinquentsm  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Visibility to other motorists, especially since our riding season is only about 7 months out of the year. They get used to not seeing motorcyclists around and then all of a sudden they are everywhere and they don’t look for something small in their mirrors. I have a big supermoto now and don’t ride with my high beams on now cause the headlight is so tall it blinds without high beams. Also the stock Grom headlight isn’t the best.

      @@Delinquentsm Alright, makes sense. I commute on a OG Grom and during this time of the year it's pretty much dark all the time when going to work or going back home. So far (knock on wood) I haven't encountered dangerous situations where people didn't see me. I usually just leave low beams on.

      If I lived in a state where I could ride year round, I’d not worry about it at all. I studded some tires to ride on the ice to work a few years back but I worried about cars and trucks taking me out not even thinking I’d be out there 😂
