Thank you for detail explanation and review. This was the best review I have seen so far.I bought last month F750GS and still waiting to came from BMW impatienly. I rode 7 years (70.000km) 2006GS decided to change 2023 F750GS which has a lot of electronic features I hope it will be good for us :)
Ordered mine today. BMW shedding it's bland reputation.. QShifter and Blipper just amazing! Smile per mile is very high on this one! 270 Degree Firing interval makes it sound fantastic compared to older Beemers.
Another excellent and very informative review. As someone who like to see a nice engine on a bike, unlike the boxer model, to me this thing looks very bland in that area. Please keep these vids coming, thanks Onroad.DotBike!
Really enjoy all your videos, especially this one since l just bought the f750 and truly love it except for the center stand, l am just 140 lbs and there is no way l can get it in the upright position, trying to figure out how to get the rear wheel off the ground to clean and lubricate chain!
We just started a series about rider/riding techniques. Within a few weeks there will be an episode about putting the bike on the central stand. After that it will be easy for you, too. :-)
Terry Haught. If the bike has been lowered by.say the previous owner (without you knowing of course) that would explain the center stand problem. if not, the trick is, not to try and lift or pull the bike, but to use your weight, via your foot on the stand to push down,, but I'm sure Onroaddotbike has probably, by now, explained this, since your post is a month old.
A very informative video. I currently ride an 800GS but am considering getting the new 750 as I don’t go off-road. I just like the taller set-up. You looked comfortable on the 750 - how tall are you?
Can you inform us about the average fuel consumption? Especially I would ike to know the consumption in every day use in city...I hope you will answer to me ! Thank you
While touring around 100-110 km/h max speed it can go under 4 l/100km. Everyday commuting with some city traffic and some non-city roads (not too much hurry) also max. 4,5 l/100km. I have the F800GS as my own bike, that's also 4-4,5 average.
