This set of Archon quests really gave me (and I'm sure many others) the same reaction of "yo, f*ck the sages" , and/or the same fuel of having a fire lit under us like with Teppei and Dunyarzad, and I've appreciated the fact that this has been a constant feeling throughout since Inazuma But seriously, f*ck the sages
Maybe because the hate on the Sages also feel more personal due to there really being people out there who dismiss anything that is not considered academic and they won't listen to the young people even tho they are right. These kinds of people can be your own family or at school too, soooooooo...
@@rascaltaglia i mean ya gotta consider, if you had the ability to literally fabricate money at any moment, and then after lets say a few years later, you lose that ability, think about it, you would be so incredibly used to just pulling money outta no where that making basic financial decisions would be fairly difficult
Fortune Teller: Have you offended the gods? Paimon "Mock the anemo god, question finalcials of geo god and fought electro god... Does that count?" That kills me every time
Dottore didn't have Kusanalis gnosis from the start, atleast not in the scene the scholars are talking about him. He has Ei's gnosis, him and Scara are teaming up because Scara wants to be a god and Dottore wants to create the perfect synthetic being, given that he worked on Scara as well this is possibly his best chance to achieve that goal. If it fails, he can just run off with Ei AND Kusanalis gnosis and act like he never helped Scaramouche
@@peptobismolveins even if there are, he can literally control minds. The akasha can extract memories. Plus eben if they didnt do that, I dont think theyll give it enough thought it just WILL happen. Its just a theory, hes too high ranked to be rogue from the fatyi permanently this fast
See this is where I’m slightly confused. Now that I rewatched this and remember that Dottore did “bring” a gnosis, and the humanoid puppet is obviously Scaramouche- What about Childe? There was an event in Inazuma where he stated he was looking for Scaramouche, was he not? Because he betrayed the Fatui? At least that’s how I remembered it- it’s been a while so I might look back at it. If this is true tho- who is Dottore and Scaramouche working for. For the Tsaritsa? Is this her order? Or is this something they both want to gain for themselves?
Nvm Childe never stated Scaramouche betrayed them.. just ran off with them. Sure it can mean the same thing but this just leaves it open for interpretation. Slightly confusing still- And this is probably why I’ll remain with Genshin till the story is finished- how can you not? It’s just too interesting 😂
@@redlingmedley9717 He technically betrayed them by running off but I think the collab has two possibilities. A)Its as I mentioned, Dottore trying to use the oppurtunity to achieve his percect being dream and knowing there will be little to no consequences for him personally. If you choose health for the divination, it says you're going to live for tens of thousands of years which confirms that Traveler is immortal/live for extremely long.
Yeah I chose that option and was promptly shaken. Because why the hell is erosion a force in this world then because it doesn’t seem… natural. If Zhongli who is 6K is now warning about it then something’s up since the traveler apparently will live WAAAAY longer.
@@sanddry738 Traveller isn't "human" technically. Zhongli's body is still closer to human than the Traveller. Although, he's still a god and immortal. Upon physical body's "death", he would just return to Celestia.

@@partygamingz3332 you say that the traveler isn't human, but throughout the aranara questline, the aranara refer to him as "nara" which means human ("golden nara"), while they aranara don't refer to paimon as "nara", just paimon or "white floaty", which means she's not human. your claim contradicts the insight of the aranara, which are canon creatures ingame.

It’s funny now that you mentioned it, our commissions in Sumeru mostly been like “bounce on this mushroom”, “find a weasel thief”, “cook food that attracts mora for that dude”. Nahida might actually been giving those commissions to us 😂
3:06:47 The "forbidden knowledge" we see rukkhadevata holding has the exact same shape of the khaenri'ah symbol we can see on Halfdan's uniform during the Chasm quest (Halfdan's human spirit), that said, maybe eleazar is some type of variation of the curse who turns people into hilichurls or the curse itself
It's not the same, that symbol is on lectors too it has 8 points, the one at the bottom is longer and it has a round hole in the middle, it's probably khaenriah's symbol but could be specific to the knights since the ruin machines have a different symbol The one we see in this cutscene has 10 points, 2 extra on top, they don't seem to have different lengths and in the center there's a diamond shaped eye Old civilizations seem to use 4 pointed stars (like primos) and add 4 more rays between them (like starglitter) this symbol is very common and some think it means a star being orbited by smaller lights (you can see this symbol when you enter domains and supposedly from data mining there's one on top of celestia) Modern uses have a 3 pointed star (like the one on paimon or mora) we can see these particle emanating from the nail on dragonspine and they use it to seal burried domaims and the abyss portal Because of the 3 realm event people have speculated that the trinqueta that points down signifies 3 realms, human, elemental and abyssal, which means that the one pointing up would signify gods, humans and elements, it's possible that at the beginning people believed in all 4 and later were punished by celestia (punished civilizations like dragonspine tsurumi and enkonomiya are plastered with the 4 pointed design) and that the trinqueta pointing towards the ground(paimon) was made in response to the celestial one that points up (mora)
The catalyst opened the Abyss to Teyvat and before there were gods, the Vishaps and dragon people were around but we learned in Enkanomiya that they were banished to the Abyss; my guess is Eleazar and the Withering are simply abysmal energy trying to convert Teyvat to what was before the arrival of the Primordial One.
@@quantumtheabyssalwolf950 it's implied that tsurumi is affected by 2 powers, it got punished and then the thunderbird destroyed it, first the civilization was destroyed, it created the fog and then the survivors start worshipping the thunderbird

A civilization that prayed to the stars, meaning there was no fog. They became well civilized, but Celestia didn't like that so they gave them divine punishment, killing them off. A very long time later, another tribe came and settled in and when they did, the fog was already there. They worshipped the thunder bird, Kapatcir Kamuy. They used human sacrifices to appease said thunder bird, but she never cared. Until one day they sacrificed ruu, who just befriended the thunder bird god. Outraged by this, never being able to hear ruu sing again, she cursed Tsurumi Island's people, murdering all of them. Only to get slayed by Ei later on..... Quite the tragic story, ngl

scara is interesting. all those "betrayals" he felt was just really him experiencing grief but he doesn't know what that emotion is called, thus not knowing how he should deal with it. hes unable to process emotions normally, so he became the way that he is. dude just needs therapy, but it's honestly such a good way to show that he is indeed not human lol it's also kind of similar to ei as well. how she locked herself up in the plane of euthymia bc of grief which is not exactly a nice way to deal with her trauma. like creator/mother like son

I love that Bwaap has been posting these few hour sessions. I was so immersed in the story and loved seeing bwaap get into it just as much. His reaction to Scaramouche was top-tier.
Worth noting, the Gnosis that Dottore had in his possession was probably the Electro Gnosis that Scaramouche brought back from Inazuma. These scholars said they've extracted that gnosis' power into a "divine core", while also confirming that the Akasha relies on the Dendro Gnosis to function. Since it's clearly still working, they couldn't have been using the Dendro Gnosis to turn Scaramouche into a god. ...never mind the juices pumping through that robot god bod are purple.

bro i love how most of us in the community found Cyno's declaration that he can beat Traveler using his full strength funny. ngl it made me chuckle too
I figure he may be a direct descendant of King Deshret's priest or King Deshret himself (considering statues of Anubis are everywhere which had led me to believe those statues are infact of King Deshret) Therefore he may have been referring to the power he inherited Plus his perception on the concept of "judgement" reminds me alot of Anubis (Which is why i nicknamed Cyno Anubis)
I don't think he's exagerrating after playing his story quest. He's obviously made to be like he's stronger than the traveler. -He's more experienced telling us about the scorpions, the tracking device and surviving the desert. -He saves the traveler from the collapsing Domain. -he goes on to catch the 400 people responsible while clearing the traveler name. Well...technically she is...but also not... By that i mean Nahida Who is highly likely to be Rukkhadevata herself but lost all her memories Or in other words Rukkhadevata got Guoba'd
@@amberxv4777 i mean that's...literally the point...when Guoba lost his power he didn't have his memories or og personality either iirc It's likely the same happened to Nahida Plus Rukkhadevata looked VERY similar to Nahida when she turned into a child
Spoilers for middle of the archon quest? At the start of the Archon quest, Nahida mentions having a dream about the Sabzarus Festival and being carried in a throne of flowers (if I recall correctly). I think this was already hinting at the fact she was getting back her memories from her former self.
But it seems quite unlikely that Nahida is Rukkhadevata. We don’t know when Rukkhadevata regressed to the form of a child. Eleazar is associated with the Withering, and there are records of it even from a millennia ago, and Eleazar was caused by the forbidden knowledge King Deshret. Which means that Rukkhadevata’s regression into a child most likely happened during the archon war.
the timeline is as follows: spoiler alert . . . . . . . . . . . Scarlet King, the Goddess of Flower and Rukkhadevata were friends. Scarlet King and Goddess of Flower started a kingdom and governed it together while Rukkhadevata created an oasis in a corner of the desert. Goddess of Flower relayed the forbidden knowledge to Scarlet King and died. Scarlet King, blinded with grief over the loss of the one he loved, brought forth the forbidden knowledge into the world, causing the contamination of Irminsul and the spread of the Withering and Eleazar. Rukkhadevata came forward to helped Scarlet King to stop the gruesome spread and ordered his priests to build temples, likely to try and contain the plague. Scarlet King chose to sacrifice himself. Rukkhadevata infused the temples with nearly all her powers and her form was reduced to a small child. The people of Sumeru then knew their god had changed her form, hence why her Statues are small. They were built after all that happened. Fast forward, the Catacalysm happened 500 years ago. Like Raiden Ei, Rukkhadevata didn't participate in it. The contamination on Irminsul worsened and she went to check it. Since she is the avatar of Irminsul and they are one of the same, the Withering also took a toll on her body and mind. Before her physical body disappeared, she created Kusanali/Nahida from a pure Irminsul branch. The sages found her, disappointed that she didn't possess some sort of vast knowledge like Rukkhadevata and locked her up.
37:50 that's an interesting take! I thought it was simply a meta thing where traveler has a harem. But I guess it can be interpreted for this scene. Btw if you pick health, the fortune teller said that traveler will live for thousands of years, which is kinda true. So, I thought this option was better since it's more lore accurate.
Lots of ppl loving him might just foreshadow the fact that they will love him because he basically saved everyone. It really doesn't have anything to do with harems, or else that would be gross as hell.
Both options are considered to be lore accurate, and considering his deeds in all the nations so far and living for thousands of years, he might get many lovers throughout his life so that's what she meant.
3:16:36 It's Ei's gnosis If you recall, Yae gave it to Scara to save us from him Scara then went AWOL with the gnosis I predict that after Childe either failed or succeeded to find Scara, Dottore caught up with Scara somehow, cut some sort of deal with him, and thus obtained the Electro Gnosis. He then went to the Akademyia.

Yeah, I have seen a lot of people say that Rukkhadevata and Nahida are the same person but just that the latter lost their memories. However, in Zhongli's character story, it explicitly states that only the Anemo and the Geo Archons are the remaining ones of the original Seven. And this isn't written in Zhongli's words. It's written in a third-person perspective. This holds true with what happened in Inazuma with Ei taking over for Makoto after her passing. Even in the description of the Version 1.1 video "A New Star Approaches," it states that the other 5 had passed away. I have seen people talk about how Nahida could be like the Aranara in that they use their memories as a form of power. The issue with this is that the Aranara remember who they are, have knowledge of the world around them, but simply don't remember past adventures with other people. I think a better comparison would be Rukkhadevata being a Vasara Tree giving birth to the Bjia i.e. Nahida. So they would have a similar source but are completely different people with different bodies. Nahida is only small because she is a relatively new god who hasn't gathered that much power yet. And with how the Akademiya restricts her, it makes sense that her power levels are still quite low.
Ngl, Even 10 months later, I Still don't understand how most people just didn't consider that Dendro Archon shrunk twice. To be, it seemed quite obvious even back then.

By the point we finish up Sumeru I think every player and their mother will be ready to fight the sages like that episode of SpongeBob "HOW MANY TIMES DO EE GOTTA TEACH YOU A LESSON OLD MEN"
3:09:00 I also thought of that, and it seems they lose most of their memories too, this makes paimon really sus and maybe her being the unknown god theory isn't so crazy after all. Maybe in the 500 years after the fall of khaenri'ah the unknown god was forced to use too much of her power. Sidenote we also know that guoba went into a slumber, we don't know if nahida went into one but if that's the case maybe paimon was in one to until we found her
The Unknown God has her own name tho (Asmoday) And the names paimon and Asmoday are both demon names And every god in Teyvat has atleast obe demon name So i figure Paimon may infact be A god but not the Unknown God Some say she's Istaroth and others say she's the Primordial One
Scaramouche ran off with Raiden Shogun's gnosis. That's what Dottore has when he arrived in Sumeru. Kusanali's gnosis is the one used to power up the Akasha Terminals. So basically, they have 2 gnosis with them. I'm curious if they'll be able to run off with these 2 by the end of the Sumeru Archon quests or will we be able to take the gnosis back this time
Putting the pieces that Scaramouche never reported back to the tsaritsa, and ran off with the electro gnosis. I guess we know what he’s now doing with it
Actually the former dendro archon and kusanali could be considered as different entity. This tiny dendro archon was of millennia agos because the scarlet king died millenia agos too, instead kusanali was "born" 500 years ago She probably died 500 years ago because of her weakened state and kusanali is like a "clone", a "seed/sapling" of the former dendro archon Which she has some of her physical features but different mind
slime archon theory: where archon share similar traits as slime, anemo float, geo with shield, electro archon and slime are twin that represents polarity, and dendro spliting into small clones
came back to watch this and its funny to me how when Cyno and Alhaitham met e/o here, they were fighting like they're about to kill e/o but then we have genshin ads and events where both of them, tighnari and kaveh are playing cards and being besties lmao
Aw man, I was looking forward to hearing bwaap's reaction to Candace interrogating those idiots. Which you can hear if you go up to the door after they get brought in. She is VERY scary.

Then again, maybe I should take a break from studying so much physics like the scholars at the Akademiya and get a life. The intrusive thoughts of actually writing these equations down is actually quite overpowering
I love that each character gets their own screentime, from Cyno, Dehya, and Alhaitham, those three are the major characters in this story and Candace serves as a pivot point character that provides care for the other characters. Act 4 was a treat indeed.
I felt bad for Scaramouche. He feels like the world is betraying him. For every sliver of happiness he has, it's all taken from him in the worst ways his emotions couldn't take.
I was so excited for this! your playthroughs is truly one of my favorites out there because of how immersive it is and how you let us in the experience whilst cracking a joke here and there. my heart hurts so much for kusanali/nahida, to have sacrificed so much but no one will ever know because of the corruption in the akademiya. it also kinda hits home because of the whole misinformation campaign. because of that, my country's slowly deteriorating and i'm just watching it happen because some lot decided that the real truth wasn't worth it and would choose propaganda instead. truly, FUCK. THE. SAGES. this quest has also solidified my love for cyno. i've always loved his design, have always loved egyptian mythology - the anubis, most especially, but this quest truly just brings it home. though dedicated to his line of work, he also sticks to his morals and makes sure that everything is as fair as should be. his sense of justice is something the world needs. it also makes sense why he cracks unfunny jokes or likes playing card games. and yes, bwaap, his play is sooooooo fun to watch. i'm so happy you got him and his weapon :3 ugh, i can't wait for your aranara video. thanks so much for this, my man! stay safe now!
Yea i like the Anubis touch to him too. I nick named him Anubis because of it XD Anubis is my fav Egyptian God too Motivated me to pull him I got him but Candy is being very stubborn And i dont trust the Weapon banner
Alhaitham is probably the reincarnation of the Scarlet King. The only things we saw from him was the eye, which has the same shape as haithams eye and the juwel, and haitham has one in his chest
After watching the quest play out again, I couldn't help but notice that Alhaitham seemed to know what the contents on the recording of the last priest were? Which is weird right? It'd be like looking at a VHS or DVD and knowing exactly what was on it. Sure, it could've been labelled, but it likely would've only been an informative name like "Last Words" or something vague but enough to define it, not something that would've spelled out the whole story to him. And yet he was pretty confident that their contents would change Rahman's mind. Also I'm including the "can read ancient script" bit as mildly sus, if only because I don't know enough to know whether there are other scholars who can read it too. Though he did seem to have a pretty good grasp on it... Considering how quickly he translated the epitaph... As someone who's done some casual translations, it's in my experience that usually you'd be reading the source script and when trying to convert it, will often have to use many different descriptors to try and see which ones 'fit', so it's a bit weird that he could translate it so quickly, especially given the fact that the language would've been from millenia ago.
Dang it, I wanted to see him eavesdrop on Candace dealing with the drunks before the next morning. She's basically yelling at them, it was such an amazing portrayal.
I am pleasantly surprised by not only the portrayal of mutual bigotry, but also how those in power will not hesitate to manipulate and encourage both sides of said bigotry to remain in power, and how those in power see their own subjects as nothing more than either useful tools or lab rats to be experimented on. Not only that, but stirring people to forget or even hate a god that sacrificed everything to protect them? Sounds pretty damn familiar to me. In the progression of the Archon quests, we've gone from a tale of two friends driven apart by deceit, to a king stepping down to allow his people to rule themselves, to a tyrant being shown the effects of her attempts to secure eternal safety in place of freedom, and now a scalding commentary on how easy it is to manipulate the masses with a few opposite yet equal lies. I am not only impressed, I am awestruck by everything this game manages to portray. You get into this game for the interesting gameplay or the pretty character designs, but then you're hooked on the story and world and it never lets go. Brilliant.
I cant believe myself that I've watched this entire 3 hour video enjoying your reaction to the story. I burst out laughing about why we take the child on a mission 😆😆 that freakin child

See this is where I’m slightly confused.
Now that I rewatched this and remember that Dottore did “bring” a gnosis, and the humanoid puppet is obviously Scaramouche-
What about Childe?
There was an event in Inazuma where he stated he was looking for Scaramouche, was he not? Because he betrayed the Fatui? At least that’s how I remembered it- it’s been a while so I might look back at it.

For the Tsaritsa? Is this her order?
Or is this something they both want to gain for themselves?
Nvm Childe never stated Scaramouche betrayed them.. just ran off with them.

And this is probably why I’ll remain with Genshin till the story is finished- how can you not? It’s just too interesting 😂
@@redlingmedley9717 He technically betrayed them by running off but I think the collab has two possibilities.
It's not the same, that symbol is on lectors too it has 8 points, the one at the bottom is longer and it has a round hole in the middle, it's probably khaenriah's symbol but could be specific to the knights since the ruin machines have a different symbol
The one we see in this cutscene has 10 points, 2 extra on top, they don't seem to have different lengths and in the center there's a diamond shaped eye
Old civilizations seem to use 4 pointed stars (like primos) and add 4 more rays between them (like starglitter) this symbol is very common and some think it means a star being orbited by smaller lights (you can see this symbol when you enter domains and supposedly from data mining there's one on top of celestia)
Modern uses have a 3 pointed star (like the one on paimon or mora) we can see these particle emanating from the nail on dragonspine and they use it to seal burried domaims and the abyss portal
Because of the 3 realm event people have speculated that the trinqueta that points down signifies 3 realms, human, elemental and abyssal, which means that the one pointing up would signify gods, humans and elements, it's possible that at the beginning people believed in all 4 and later were punished by celestia (punished civilizations like dragonspine tsurumi and enkonomiya are plastered with the 4 pointed design) and that the trinqueta pointing towards the ground(paimon) was made in response to the celestial one that points up (mora)

Also wrong.
The first civilization that found this island settled in.
You can see that in the ruins on that island.

The sages found her, disappointed that she didn't possess some sort of vast knowledge like Rukkhadevata and locked her up.

that's an interesting take!

Nothing beats watching bwaap's vids and hearing his genuine laughter. Kinda therapeutic ngl~
3:16:36
It's Ei's gnosis
If you recall, Yae gave it to Scara to save us from him
Scara then went AWOL with the gnosis
I predict that after Childe either failed or succeeded to find Scara, Dottore caught up with Scara somehow, cut some sort of deal with him, and thus obtained the Electro Gnosis.
He then went to the Akademyia.
11:09
In the traveler's defense the first two were mainly Paimon doing those and as for Ei that was mainly self-defense
Haven't seen the whole thing yet but I have to say this: I really love how you are so patient and interested in your quest playthroughs, paying attenttion to what is happening, not getting overly annoyed by weird pacing or dialogue choices. Also you are not talking over the VAs or simping to the point where you do not see what is happening in a scene. I watched your last Archon quest video twice - one time when it came out and one time a few days before the next patch dropped as a refresher of what exactly happened - and I will do it again this time. Thank you for being you. You seem like a very pleasant person and I appreciate your hard work. ❤
Me doing Inazuma archon quest: 😴 😴 what a nice lullaby
Me doing Sumeru Archon quest: OMG POOR RUKHDEVATA 😭 😭
Bro civil war is definitely not a nice lullaby
@@nationalgeografic7687 i mean we only saw a few soldiers of the resistance on the city at the end of the archon quest, it was kinda bad when you look back at it
@@nationalgeografic7687 i mean the first part of inazuma quest when we confronted and saved npcs that would have no contribution to the later story progression, it was pretty pointless and boring. No one really felt actually involved in solving the whole problem, its just us the traveler. Even some of the playable characters felt like they have done nothing for the story. Meanwhile here in sumeru especially act IV it genuinely feels like its a collective effort of all the characters that are involved, even the npcs.
Inazumas most horrific elements are behind books,as usual...
the execution of inazuma story was quite bad, it felt rushed and disappointing overall (yae being deus ex machina and explaining everything at the end, kokomi the genius strategist fell into fatui trap too easily etc)
“Sumeru is incredibly messed up”
There’s still a part 5!
Going into Sumeru
Expectations: Rainforest! Puzzles! Some random political nonsense that we'll sort out like we always do!
Reality: What if the writers of Black Mirror got weirdly religious?
This quest just makes the theory that Paimon is a shrunken god more and more believable.
Bro I loved how we fucking gaslighted setaria in the beginning so hard to help us yet it didn't work, hoped to hear her screaming tho
3:05:33 forbidden knowledge is the cause of people losing their sanity, as well as the cause of eleazar and the withering. Ruka helped scarlet king to clean this mess but the miracle couldnt last forever. Scarlet king sacrificed himself since the forbidden knowledge remained a threat. As for ruka, she used all of her power to assist scarlet king and in the end, she became tiny. Nobody said ruka and kusa are the same person. It is still unclear for the time gap between the forbidden knowledge incident and the cataclysm but imo , i guess the cataclysm came after the forbidden knowledge incident
3:09:25 if kusa is the small ruka, then the forbidden knowledge incident and the cataclysm happenened in the same year 500 years ago. The 2 original of the seven (barbatos and morax) still lives. If ruka lives, that would make her the third original of the seven.
3:15:38 first time haitham and everyone heard of this, cuz haypasia saw scara and called him god, we saw his entire backstory
3:16:34 dottore has the electro archon gnosis (It is believed that akademiya is currently holding kusa's Gnosis, which is powering the Akasha System. And it is currently unknown where her gnosis is)
3:17:26 apparently they used people's dreams from the samsara to boost the akasha high enough to extract power from electro's archon gnosis, then turn that into divine core for scara
3:18:59 those sages scums treated her terrible like nothing . Disrepect her and they are dead meat (why would you lock her up? could you at least let some nice parents adopt her?! YOU GUYS ARE FREAKING DEGENERATED, THIS IS WHY THEY SAY "INFORMATION IS FREE , KNOWLEDGE IS NOT")
3:23:51 eww
Bwaap: Questions why AlHaitham is still wearing an Akasha Terminal if the Sages and the Doctor can freely use it to control people
Me: I HAD THE SAME QUESTION~!!
Remember when the guy who gave us the akasha at the front sumeru city gate? He said that akasha terminal only works at areas with large connection like sumeru city or port ormos so I think that's the case here
@@apieceoftrash5673 But didnt they monitor the Mad Scholars/Village Keepers in Aru Village with the Akasha?
@@mikollust6726 They don't, or at least, they only do barebones job out of it. They only did 'care' for them when they need 'divine' knowledge. The ones that monitors them constantly is Nahida, and she's Dendro Archon, so she didn't count.
Maybe he's tinkering with it? He's scribe, so his job requires him to write and reviewing stuff, some of it probably related to Terminal function and programming.
1:16:45 my theory is Alhaitham's akasha terminal has been modified to include a stop gap. Think Bluetooth speaker that plays music when you tell it to via your phone vs an Alexa speaker that doesn't need the phone to play music, but is also constantly listening by its very design.
Alhaitham and Cyno are like a middle aged couple on the verge of divorce
3 hours damn bro, you got the balls to edit this video. Gonna binge watch 8 hours of the two videos when i finished the archon quest 😀
Im not a pro editor or anything but i didnt know that we need balls to edit
@@Dissapointed_Aether balls to start editing such an intimidatingly long video
@@tomatozombie135 and adding subtitles to his commentary. timing everything is quite a task
@@Dissapointed_Aether tbh. The footage itself is not that tiring to edit. But the subtitles? On a 3+ hrs video? Dude. That thing alone will literally sometimes demoralized me to edit a video even if it's one of my hobby
You guys got the balls to complain damn
TH-camrs are humans too lol
A little detail that I noticed that greater lord got 3 leafs, while the lesser lord got 2 and now Nahida only has 1......She probably used her power to save the people AGAIN :(
yes, i think so too. cause the scarlet king's story takes place before the destruction of khaenri'ah,,,
omg, i hope there wont be anything like "i have to sacrifice myself for my people" then goes 0 leaf
I think after Rukkadevata when she tried to erase the forbidden knowledge she shrink but she still has some of her powers and her memories... some time later, Khaenriah happened and she needs to exhaust her powers once more leading her be being shrink but also No memories and No powers.
yep you are right
Your reaction to taking the kid was the same as mine; I can't with these meddling kids!! And then when he went running towards Dehya, like CHILD. WHAT DID CYNO SAY. -table flips- I'm totally telling Candace when I get back, you little shit. >:O
1:02:56 not him just casually telling us abt the akademiya’s hit listt 😭😭
I love the slow pacing and how made so many characters very involved in the story in the Sumeru Quest compared to the previous Region Quests
The first part of the quest hit me hard because we're just gaslighting the hell out of Setaria.
btw Paimon basically has 4th wall abilities. She could read the text for Dottore and know he's Number 2 Harbinger xD
XD
Perfect timing bwaap. I’ve had the worst day in months today, im so relieved to be home and watching this in the warm. It was so rainy walking home 1:24:02
Sidenote we also know that guoba went into a slumber, we don't know if nahida went into one but if that's the case maybe paimon was in one to until we found her
The Unknown God has her own name tho
(Asmoday)
And the names paimon and Asmoday are both demon names
And every god in Teyvat has atleast obe demon name
So i figure Paimon may infact be A god but not the Unknown God
Some say she's Istaroth and others say she's the Primordial One
Scaramouche ran off with Raiden Shogun's gnosis. That's what Dottore has when he arrived in Sumeru. Kusanali's gnosis is the one used to power up the Akasha Terminals. So basically, they have 2 gnosis with them. I'm curious if they'll be able to run off with these 2 by the end of the Sumeru Archon quests or will we be able to take the gnosis back this time
39:26 Yoooo I got so much nostalgia with that sudden club penguin music what-
Putting the pieces that Scaramouche never reported back to the tsaritsa, and ran off with the electro gnosis. I guess we know what he’s now doing with it
Actually the former dendro archon and kusanali could be considered as different entity.
This tiny dendro archon was of millennia agos because the scarlet king died millenia agos too, instead kusanali was "born" 500 years ago
She probably died 500 years ago because of her weakened state and kusanali is like a "clone", a "seed/sapling" of the former dendro archon
Which she has some of her physical features but different mind
slime archon theory: where archon share similar traits as slime, anemo float, geo with shield, electro archon and slime are twin that represents polarity, and dendro spliting into small clones
@@yudilai6704 NO BECAUSE ITS GIVING "that time i got reincarnated as a slime" 😭
@@yudilai6704the slime theory is utter nonsense. People just pick and pluck what they want to make it fit
I love Inazuma but dayum did they went above and beyond with the Sumeru quests.
came back to watch this and its funny to me how when Cyno and Alhaitham met e/o here, they were fighting like they're about to kill e/o but then we have genshin ads and events where both of them, tighnari and kaveh are playing cards and being besties lmao
Aw man, I was looking forward to hearing bwaap's reaction to Candace interrogating those idiots. Which you can hear if you go up to the door after they get brought in. She is VERY scary.
2:26:30 My Brain coming up with the velocity, acceleration, and vector graphs while laughing at Paimon's confusion of what book said at the same time. Then again, maybe I should take a break from studying so much physics like the scholars at the Akademiya and get a life. The intrusive thoughts of actually writing these equations down is actually quite overpowering
Nahida idle animation shows she wants freedom
Venti: say no more
Imagine Paimon become Alhaitham's companion for a day lol
In this house we stan Alejandro Saab (voice actor for Cyno)
I glad you are back with the stories again. I love to watch your reaction when going through all of it.
I love that each character gets their own screentime, from Cyno, Dehya, and Alhaitham, those three are the major characters in this story and Candace serves as a pivot point character that provides care for the other characters. Act 4 was a treat indeed.
This archon quest gave me an actual headache, I was like “Jesus fucking Christ I’m getting a headache”
THE. SAGES.
this quest has also solidified my love for cyno. i've always loved his design, have always loved egyptian mythology - the anubis, most especially, but this quest truly just brings it home. though dedicated to his line of work, he also sticks to his morals and makes sure that everything is as fair as should be. his sense of justice is something the world needs. it also makes sense why he cracks unfunny jokes or likes playing card games. and yes, bwaap, his play is sooooooo fun to watch. i'm so happy you got him and his weapon :3
ugh, i can't wait for your aranara video. thanks so much for this, my man! stay safe now!
Yea i like the Anubis touch to him too.
I nick named him Anubis because of it XD
Anubis is my fav Egyptian God too
Motivated me to pull him
I got him but Candy is being very stubborn
And i dont trust the Weapon banner
As someone who's done some casual translations, it's in my experience that usually you'd be reading the source script and when trying to convert it, will often have to use many different descriptors to try and see which ones 'fit', so it's a bit weird that he could translate it so quickly, especially given the fact that the language would've been from millenia ago.
title is completely right IVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS VIDEO
Dang it, I wanted to see him eavesdrop on Candace dealing with the drunks before the next morning. She's basically yelling at them, it was such an amazing portrayal.
51:30 The impact of his "Start of Darkness" always gives me chills.
I love nahida so much 😭 that’s it, the moment she comes out I’m pulling for her.
I've already started saving my primogems lol
