It is use to Charge li-ion 3.7V battery as well as full charge indicator.If Battery is low at 3.1V then RED LED Glow.and if Full Charge 4.2V then GREEN LED glow.

Yes, you can use visible resistor

1N4148 is only normal diode not a zener diode we used it because it has low voltage drop...
Instead of that you can use1N4001 or 1N4007 diode also...

I suggest 100mA 5V Charger adopter as input (charge time 1Hr)...and if you use 1A charger then charge time is 15-20minutes only..Don't overcharge or use over charge protection ic...

47ohm resistor and 56ohm resistor hain jo ki apko electronic ki dukan main mil jayege. You can see actual component in videos starting part.

I used fixed resistor as calculated instead of variable resistor. You can use variable resistor for adjust voltage.

4.2v is a safe voltage but going over 4.2 is a safety hazard

At 5V 1N4007 diode used so 0.7v drop
5-0.7= 4.3V
