Its a pretty good labor of love as well. It'd be impossible to make the deck competitive, but as it stands it could do some work at a locals. Heck I can even imagine a madman making a rogue tier deck with them if they put enough work in. ...i just felt Giant Skyhawk's evil grin...
Asthetically this one of my favorite archetypes and I feel like more cards could be added to it. Like a squire knight based off the ace card, upgraded versions of King Jack. Heck there could be a knight that helps or supports Slifer.
I hope the Extra monsters get an Errata or an upgraded form where they not only negate the targeting effects (this also could be upgraded) but in line with the theme shuffle the negated card into the enemies hand (which is a fitting removal for the archetype) serving as more attack for the mysterious Triumphjoker.
I tech’d in Beast King Barbaros. Field wiping easier than Royal Straight Slasher. Honestly, that payoff isnt worth it. It should’ve drawn you cards at the end of the turn since you lost 5 cards to use Royal slasher to field wipe.
I was surprised that arcana wasn’t a contact fusion tbh. Face card fusion is cool and all but I think the archetype would work better as a contact fusion deck.
Also the from deck portion of the effect is determinant on controlling one of the original cards. I might have read it wrong, but....I don't think you actually need to use them in the fusion.

Instead of needing the multiple attributes in hand, through search or summon, you can slap down any of the knights and use the summon to mill the other attribute directly from your deck. If you use Unexpected Dai to get the lvl 4 joker knight, then you also still have your normal summon.
Casino Knights has been an interest term i've heard thrown around a bit due to Double or Nothing. I'm calling mine Gambling Addiction due to Cup of Ace, Summon Dice and Card Destruction being part of my deck.

For Face Card Fusion, may I offer up Idaten the Conquering Star? 3000 ATK Level 10 that requires two level 5 Warrior Monsters. It then adds a level 5 (Joker's Knight) to your hand, and when it battles a monster with a lower level than it, it makes the ATK 0 during the damage step.
It works in trinity, esp since you have such a good advantage engine you can just dump any cards you don't actively need that turn to pump up his stats
It amazes me that this filler archetype has clear love put into its design. If this was printed in the age of XYZ it probably could have proven as a viable old guard to challenge the new mechanic. Unfortunately it has been printed in an age that is....frustrating...
Can't argue with you their. A lot of these revived archetypes rely a ton on searching and other forms of hand fixing, which have been countered by modern decks for years. It's cool they get that support, but a little disheartening to know they still aren't up to snuff.
Considering Queen’s Knight absorbed Slifer’s power into her I think it’s fair to say these Knights are picking up some tricks from the rest of Yugi’s deck

So, my thought process in the beginning was that I wanted a big goal to work towards, and 5k felt like a good number to shoot for. But when THAT got hit and I had to think of another milestone, 10k just kind of felt like the next logical step, and since the Utopia Double play ends in a 10k attacker, it felt like a pretty cute connection. Once that's hit's, I don't think I actually have a sub goal to focus on. I would love to talk about all the Odd-Eyes/Pendulum Magicians in the future, but I don't have plans to make it a sub special at the moment. But hey, ya never know what's gonna happen here! I didn't think we were even gonna get to 5k this year, so anything is possible xD
this group of cards reminds me the card knights of the red queen in Alice in Wonderland... and makes interesting to build with some new supports and bosses.. It makes a greater oppose to the KAIBA'S XYZ DRAGON CANNON WITH VW AND ABC... p.s. Queen's Knight is my favorite among those Face Card Knights...

I’m working on an Atem deck that plays the face card knights, dark magician, and Egyptian gods and it either bricks or does surprisingly well. Still needs some fine tuning but I’ll get there
The whole problem with the deck is there are hardly any warrior hand traps, you can use "M. the destructor " to use traps, and traptrick to use jokers wild turn 1.5 Imperm, typhoon, evenly could be used Theyre warriors so you can draw 2-4-6 with bamboo blade isolde and renaud. If youre using verte, isolde can add rose knight to hand. Draganox can also be added and set in the pen zone But with all that defense it still loses, Buster blader with traptrick and artifact sanctum is better in every way
Greater Polymerization is still a nice plus though since the consistency of getting all your pieces on board is pretty high with this deck. Plus it makes sacking Arcana Knight Joker much harder. On top of that, this deck links straight into the BLS link monster for some strong early-game pressure. Even without the protections, it still makes use of banishing upon successful attacks which is pretty good.

a fun combo I like doing is activating court of cards to banish my three knights, then activate burial from a different dimension to send those three knights back to the graveyard.
Eh, i was kinda hoping that the poker knights support offered them their own play style rather than just making them into steping stones for slifer and ra. They have such a neat esthetic and theme to them i was hoping for something more. Maybe another retrain of arcana knight joker to go with the fusion card perhaps? I just think out of all the things they could of done with them, this is by for the most boring.
I can see where you're coming from. When someone says 'I'm Playing Poker Knights' you expected to be using the deck's own payoffs, but for it to turn into God Card Turbo can feel like the headlining set got undercut by another theme.
Oh yeah Poker time. I still think this could be an awesome piece of the Slifer God Deck (you know that before the relase cof presales cof those things were listed as Structures and now they move it to Starters 🤔)
I will say that its nice that they link straight into the BLS link monster. Even if he doesnt get the bonus protection, he's still a good early-game pressuring tool with banishing capabilities. Throwing in a few copies of Aleister is pretty nice too, bumps Arcana Knight Joker up to a 4800 attacker. Plus, if you summoned him with Greater Poly, he can't be board wiped easily.

I tend to play more of a casual decklist, Aleister's only really in there because i want to make the most out of Arcana Knight Joker. The most recent competitive deck i've seen of Poker Knights utilizes Rescue Rabbit, Renaud and Fire Flint Lady as additional extenders, as well as it utilizes the spell card Unexpected Dai and Infernoble Arms - Durendal for more consistent special summoning. It also uses Utopia Double to set up a one turn OTK with Double or Nothing so that Utopia gets up to 10,000 ATK.
I still don't get the "Bonus" effect of Thunder Speed Summon *, considering that between the serie of monster itself Triumph is not that good to summon unless you have a crapton of cards in hand, and the destruction effect is not a quickie so is a 2500 wall most of the time with no protection, not to mention there aren't exactly very strong level 10 "Dark" monsters, the only reason what I think that clause exist is to not summon the Wiked gods because Lore reasons, but aside from Slifer or Sphere mode, is not a card you would run at 3 or consider to run unless you want to play the god cards, but I guess that they would made more generic level 10 monsters in the future. So far I think that Konami should make more Magnet Warriors because of the monster trio used by yugi, this is the one that has the more potential now that I see the support for the poker knights.
Playing them with an Infernoble knight engine helps a lot for additional plays and bamboo swords offers excellent draw power. Overall the deck is incredibly fun to use and when it comes to a casual duel it’s a solid option. Use Infernoble knights Ogier, Oliver and Magus to make Arcana Extra Joker almost indestructible and have him point to Slifer to protect him from targeting effects. Next turn drop either Triumph Joker or Ra to clear board or go for game depending on how the match has played out.
This archetype need royal straight slasher an anime only monster that can't normal summon/set must special summon by it's own effect and the monster's effect is once per turn send 5 monsters from level 1 to 5 to the GY and destroy all cards your opponent control
Not competitive but can be made sphere mode in this deck with thunder speed summon is pretty good it has its good points and bad but Yugioh is now just negate this negate that it’s a game to see who can stop the other person from playing first
Something fun about Triumph Joker is since her summon effect isn’t a once per turn you can use her to bait out an interruption, tribute or Link her off to be able to summon her again

The Utopia suggestions are on point though, thats what i'm running in my deck along with the BLS link monster for consistent early game pressure. I will admit that its a decent way to get Arcana Triumph Joker out of your deck and into the GY, but i imagine there's better cards that do that too.

I've been using them since they dropped the new support. Won a few tournaments and topped a bunch. I run mines with Ra.

I put together a ra poker knights deck and it's not perfect and not competitive but it's fun to play and I love it.

@@GoldenNovaYugioh Negate and destroy? Its why i took it out of my deck, i could rarely keep it on the board for longer than a single turn. The Utopia suggestions are on point though, thats what i'm running in my deck along with the BLS link monster for consistent early game pressure.
I will admit that its a decent way to get Arcana Triumph Joker out of your deck and into the GY, but i imagine there's better cards that do that too.
God, Knight of the Red Lotus is so weird. And doesn’t really work in this deck when I think about it. It’s just too costly for an underwhelming card.

Hey can you maybe do vendread or Armageddon lore some day? Their probably isn't any but I just really like the archetypes.
