The original Relinquished might just be the coolest card of all time. The extreme anime significance, diabolical effect and simple but perfect card portrait seared it into my mind as a kid.
Cyber Ogre *deserves* its own explained/a new series around it. As long as its not just "turbo Cyber Dragon" and instead its own new thing/gives all "Cyber" some support (Cyber Dark, Cyber Dragon, Cyber Angel, etc)
I run a relinquished deck (don't judge me), and I gotta say that Thousand-Eyes Idol is WAY better than Golden Idol. Golden Idol's primary flaw is that it requires a normal summon in order to treat it as fusion material for Thousand-Eyes Restrict. With Relinquished fusion, however, you can banish from field, hand, or gy, allowing you to fuse thousand-eyes idol from your hand or GY (if you foolished it or used it for ritual material). This makes getting Thousand-Eyes Restrict WAY more consistent.
i kinda disagree. Even though it must be normal summon, it has quick effect to see your opponents hand. Thats a great advantage. Also sometimes i use Dark Hex Sealed to fusion it on the field so it goes to GY so then i can use it again to summon Eyes Restrict.
Ok a Relinquished/Eyes Restrict deck with kaiju engine feels more frankestein and clusterfuck than Armed Dragon Catapult cannon ft. Ojamas, and I LOVE IT
I just rebuilt my deck to put 3 Eye of Illusion in it 1 Snatch Steal 1 Change of Heart 3 Upstart Goblin and 3 Triple Tactics Talent because the 1 ofs and the Talents and all the Relinquished and Restrict stuff take stuff same for Eye of Illusion if you wanna use that effect and basically if you choose the control effect of Talents
I remember some OC Relinquish monsters and restrict fusions that people made if you can make some Relinquish cards what would they be and who would they be based off of
A Fusion from Relinquished and the Millenium Eyes Illussionist. Which Effect is you can equip a card in your deck. Also maybe Relinquished Kaijus which give when attached some protection? I still wait for more support...
I think Relinquished needs more support to be competitive. as of right now it's a bit too slow. Backstory time: I was at some concert long ago and one of the stands were selling Yu-Gi-Oh cards and I chose to buy the Pegasus starter deck, Relinquished was and still is my favorite monster, after making some edits to the deck... Let's just say it made me one of the best players of old school Yu-Gi-Oh.... though I think the thing people were most obsessed about was me being the only girl in school who played lol
If they are not gonna make it a Ritual that requires Toon World to be on the field as a Ritual Spell like they didn't do with Toon Black Luster Soldier, I hope they don't tbh.
I mean realistically speaking, they don’t need to if they wanted to put Relinquished in Toons. Like, the only reason you do that is to reference Pegasus/outright support a Pegasus deck; but Relinquished is still good as it is, so it would probably be simpler to just give Toons a card to search it and maybe improve synergy in other ways. That way you’re actually running Pegasus’ monster in your Pegasus deck. Heck, they could even throw in a Toon-Eyes Restrict at the same time while they’re at it. Really unify the themes. Konami loves doing that, it’d be great.
I hope they make it so that you can play it in both Decks. A summoning condotion like Toon BLS but instead of just Toon Monster you can also Tribute Cards who list "Relinquished" in its Effect Textbox so you can Tribute Golden Idol to equip an extra or Millenium Eyes and dont go -1. And then the normal Relinquished Effect and toon effect by attack directly when Toon World is on the Field. Also it can Attack the Turn it summon. And becomes "Relinquished" while on the Field or Gy. So that you can Fusion it for Eyes Restrict Fusion Monster. Then you could play Toon Relinquished also in an actual Relinquished Deck.
This will be fun and while i what im going to think of a way to make venom swamp useful im thinking 3 pumprincess. What next the hungry hamburger archetype
i enjoyed the analysis and the PUN joke! this is my 2nd deck on Master Duel and climbing fast on ranked duel. i enjoyed playing it, although the engine kinda slow.
I love this deck! I just find the cards really cool and awesome, and I really like the idea of controlling Eldritch monsters that swallow my opponent's monsters, and use them against them. But I got a question: would Hundred Eyes Dragon work in this deck? It's ability to mimic a Dark monsters effect that's in your grave sounds to me like it would be a neat way to use any of your destroyed monsters effect, especially if your opponent tries to get them off the board.
What even is Relinquished supposed to be? Also, is Anima an Anima reference? It's literally an upside down Relinquished, like Anima from Final Fantasy X and XIV
Relinquished attack0 Defense0 assimilates opponent’s monster using Transfixing Gaze, and uses them a a defense. Thus if the monster is destroyed, the opponent loses life points equal to attack
Grr... Just found out the hard way, that Summoning Relinquished Anima does not return Millenium-Eyes Illusionist from Graveyard to Hand. Konami really needs to fix this. And just realized that Illusionist won't equip an opponents monster to Anima either. And Illusionist Faceless Magician and Relinquished Fusion won't effect Anima either.
You know, Draitron Relinquished is pretty terrifying. Summon Relinquished multiple times to eat up opponent board with the Draitron engine, then end on big negates if forced to go first.
Damn I wish I saved my cards I remember buyin this card and the gold Egyptian god card on the same day save up so much allowance and my dad still had to put money up

You can't summon Relinquished with the Drytron ritual, as you would inherently over pay the cost of the summon.
