  • The UX250h is the smallest Lexus in their lineup/ On the outside of the F Sport you will find optional wheels, painted fender openings, and LED lighting. On the inside there is leather interior, digital gauge display and 10.3in infotainment screen. Under the hood is a 2.0L inline-4 paired to an electric motor tor produce 181HP. We bought a 2022 Lexus UX250h luxury edition in Ottawa, Canada and have now owned it for three months. Ours has electric tailgate and ventilated seats and is AWD. We love the drive and power is awesome for any driving we have done. Fuel economy is fabulous and varies between 5.2 and 5.6 L / 100 km. Space is tight in the back but we can get our three grand daughters, with booster seats, back there. Cargo is good but load height is limited. We love the infotainment system but advise you disable all sounds and haptics or it will drive you nuts! It’s really a fabulous vehicle even with the space constraints! We also test drove the 2022 Venza and this is by far a much nicer ride! Great Review!

Actually the UX250h is refreshed for 2023. I believe it will go on sale sometime in the Fall of 2022. I extracted the following from Car and Driver:
    What's New for 2023?
Lexus has dropped the non-hybrid UX200 models from the lineup for 2023 making the all-wheel drive hybrid powertrain standard. Lexus says it has made changes to the UX’s chassis and suspension to improve both handling and ride quality. We’ll be able to confirm that only after we’ve driven this latest model. A new F Sport Handling package is available on the F Sport model that includes and adaptive dampers. Lexus has also installed its more modern Lexus Interface touchscreen infotainment system into the UX this year. The updated software looks more up-to-date and offers an integrated voice assistant, over-the-air update capabilities, and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. An 8.0-inch display is standard but the system looks best on the larger, optional 12.3-inch screen. The infotainment display has been relocated so it’s within reach for the driver and front passenger and the company’s annoying touchpad controller has been eliminated and.

I own a 2020 UX 250h in the Luxury trim. There have been no changes in the features offered in this 2022 Model Year Version, aside from the wheel well trim being black plastic instead of body color. The Luxury trim, in 2020 at least, has a powered Tailgate, heated and ventilated leather seats (with Auto on/off) in Glazed Caramel (Orange), heated steering wheel, info screen size is the same, head-up display, a slightly different digital gauge cluster (half digital. half analog), Wireless Charging Pad, Rain-Sensing Front Wipers, 6-speaker sound system. If you do not get the F-Sport Package, you will not have the fake engine sounds (huge loss I know, lol). I have owned his car for 2 years now, and have had zero problems. It's major downsides are that it has extremely limited Cargo space (The sloped tailgate makes it even worse for trying to carry anything, It can barely hold 1 full size luggage in the cargo area if the back seats are up), it is not fast, though it feels surprising peppy for its 181 HP, I assume thanks to the assistance of the electric motor, the vehicle is not tall so you have a lower ride height, they call it an SUV, but it is extremely compact, it doesn't feel like one.

I still don’t care for the cow-catcher front end. Lexus used to have a truly luxurious look, but they went in the wrong direction (as did Toyota) about a decade ago. Lincoln went the opposite route, morphing from that ridiculous gull-wing front end to a very nice look coinciding with ditching the MK_ naming scheme. Also, Lexus can claim its infotainment setup is safer than a touchscreen, but I disagree. Those two factors make Lexus a no-go; Toyota at least has a more straightforward infotainment setup.

I think i put the Hyundai Santa Fe, Kia Sorento, Nissan Rogue, or the Toyota Highlander for the same price.

@@RaitisRides I bought a 2015 and then a 2017 NX both new. Not until the new 22 redesign did Lexus finally address the NX's shortcomings. The lack of CarPlay, miserable BT commands, horrible touchpad, made the NX a second glass vehicle. Don't get me started on acceleration or handling. Finally with the UX they are getting rid of the subpar combustion engine and moving to hybrid only. and dumping the ill conceived touchpad of doom. if I've learned anything owning four Lexus SUV's, it's that early adopters never escape unscathed. My 2019 Hyundai Tucson Ultimate and now 2021 Kia Sportage SX turbo AWD, blows away the 2015 to 2021 NX family as well as all UX's until 2023. And all for 20K less.

I just can't get past the sound of the motor coming through the speakers being so different from when you hear the actual sound of the engine. It's so noticeable I find it annoying. Hard pass on this.

For everyone that says they’ll take this over Venza, I bet y’all wouldn’t be saying that if the Venza has Lexus badge instead of Toyota. Nothing else changed on Venza except the badge.

you dont compare by their prices, but their sizes. it makes no sense to compare a tiny luxury brand with a larger common brand. UX is comparable with the size of C-HR/H-RV but not venza
