I don't need to come back. I'll tell you right now to your face: You're right! I enjoyed the video. You make excellent points and back them up with superb examples. Your style of videos, both the how-to and why-to videos, is excellent. Please keep them coming!
Great video as always! I also think that people see 3D printers as toys and not a problem solver, but anyone can get custom-made products without much effort with them.
i think we are in circa 1996 comparing 3d printing and internet. 3D printer is more like 55k modem back then. We do know someone have it (3d printers), someone are making money with it, some industry gigants are implementing it in their process. But it is about 5 years away from becoming completely new multi billion dollar market.
Thanks for the hopeful message. I kind of agree however... the hardest things to change are the habits. I can print useful stuff at home and yet my wife continues to purchase products I can easily print in a matter of minutes. Die hard habits are a plague to any changes
That's all true. We're not there yet, but we will be. It's about having all the right parts in place. Before sites like Amazon and eBay, very few people would have considered buying online, even though it was possible. There are still a few things in the way of 3D printing becoming more accessible to a wider audience. I believe the day will come when slicing STL files will be a thing of the past. Printers will be faster, more reliable, with more color and material options. When this happens, we will see a change. Overnight delivery will slowly be replaced by a print button.
I printed about 100 drain grills some for my house and some i sold at a specific size and color and all that in tinker cad took me about 20 min to messure the dimensions of the drain holes and I'm a simple hobby 3D printer your spot on in this video this technology is the tomorrow of manufacturing as time will bring more durable materials from the ones we have now a full dimensional object! Made from the same material is not far away example a human Hart printed cant think 1 billion more things 50 years ego in star trek they cald the 3D printer a replicator 😊
Exactly! This is how it's supposed to work. There was a time when problems were solved at home, not by corporations. Manufacturing is coming back where it belongs, in the hands of the people!
stop standing beside those 5m please, my k1 is kicking my ass on 1st layer and I can get the 5m for £209 just now, I'm sooooooo tempted and everyone I go I see a 5m now!! I'm sitting impatiently debating waiting on a 300 cube flashforge or try a 5m or 5m pro or maybe splurge on a qidi 4
@@zerodotcmd I can't take much more of this bed nonsense, I'm printing out tpu bed posts right now as a final test before I break out the big stuff..... hammer first then credit card!

Thanks! I'm glad you're enjoying the videos. I definitely plan to keep making more! 😊
When Festool wanted $29 for a part that I was able to make on my 3d printer for less than 30 cents...I knew the world had changed.
This is how it works. And it will get even more capable. Companies wont be able to push the prices they do now in the future.
No need to bookmark, you are 100% RIGHT

Thanks. It's only a matter of time before it's so obvious people can't avoid it.

I agree, it definitely feels like 96 all over again.
We're back to the 3d printers change the world youtube vids
I guess so.
We are only in the beginning of 3D-printing
I really feel like this is true. If people can't tell I'm really excited to see what comes from all of this.
Yep. Spot on.
The Bambu is sort of the iPhone of 3d printing. A very early iPhone, but give them a few more generations. Otherwise spot on and great video.
I'll agree they are closer than anyone else at the moment.

Wait for 300 cubed. Here, I made the decision for you so you don't have to:) That's what I am going to do at least.
I can't help it. I do love them. Its gonna be a good while before they release a 300 I would think.

I agree but I think AI might overtake everything before 3d printing revolutionizes the world
@@paytreonsuhks That is a strong possibility. AI is a whole topic no one wants to get me started on
