much much much needed video, please make a few more video on this; from how to maintain this lifestyle for voiceover artists and if possible, the exercises.
Jay, we're sharing one brain right now! I've found that Vocal Fatigue is the number 1 Performance Killer (for myself). Warming up before a session and maintaining vocal health is the most important routine for performance consistency. Thanks for another great video Jay!
no videos on this topic and i was searching specially for this topic from past few months but no success. finally, someone did it. i am hoping that you continue this as series.
Sorry to hear that! Unfortunately, I don't have much advice for that beyond limiting screen-time before bed (~1hr), and sticking to a routine. I got to sleep almost the same time most nights, and that tends to help me a bit.
Great tip on resting your vocal cords after a long day of recording. If I told my wife that I needed to rest my vocal cords and not talk, she would be probably very happy.😆
I have an inconsistent voice, and I need to get a more consistent sound for recording, but don't really know how. I drink throat coat tea, and snort flonase, but don't really know how to condition or prep for a more consistent voice. Ideas? Thanks!
That's a tough nut to crack, and unfortunately there's no 'quick' fix. I'd suggest diving into voice and speech training with a professional. In my experience, the best way to ensure you have consistent results is to gain mastery of the use of your voice. If you don't want to or can't work with a coach/teacher, I recommend "Freeing the Natural Voice" to get started. Lots of the exercises are similar to what we did in my MFA training program. geni.us/NaturalVoice

I'll put it on the list!

I have a lot of trouble sleeping. A video about sleeping habits would be helpful!

Same ;) It's always tough on those days in our home.
