For Fall 2023 and into 2024 we are reading Arendt's classic analysis of the 20th century, The Origins of Totalitarianism. In Origins, Arendt tracks the rise of Fascism and Communism and explores what differentiates these regimes from past authoritarian systems.

Thank you. The distinction between history and theory came out very clearly in this session.

This is what's happening right now in america
Andrea Pitzer, who wrote the book of concentration camps, considers the US migrant camps to be concentration camps.
Godwin of Godwin's law considers the US migrant camps as concentration camps.
Give me a break. Do you actually think Trump is gonna put people in a concentration camp? How ignorant can you be at this point.
