Incredible what faith can make. I am a proud Christian and when I see these miracles of architecture made by the church I think: No wonder why our faith and culture is so hardly attacked. This DJ is one of the most smart young person Out there. He is just lovely 💝🔔🎧
Just look at the Ancient Indian Architecture of Hindus ,not the Islamists,I bet you will be greatly humbled. All of these western monuments have drawn great inspiration from those at India.
Christians took over these magnificent buildings and repurposed them for their religious needs. These were built by a previous, pre-Christian civilisation.
fans of locksport or the lockpicking lawyer feel for that man who feels so special for having so many keys, he is such a sweet summer child. not even those keys are safe from lockpicking.
Genuinely can't believe they had a light show in such a stunningly beatiful Abbey. Incredibly disrespectful and demanding. Don't understand how in anyway its going to attract young people who if they do go,will go for the show not the church. Let the church be a church and a nightclub be a nightclub. Have a little bit of respect and know the place of things and keep what is good. Next thing we'll have discos in church's.
I'm not sure in it, but I think that the first (at least on a big scale) musician who did a concert there was Jean-Michel Jarre in 1993. So, it's not a new thing here at all...
Isn't it sacrilegious to have such a light show projected on the abbey? It should be something that honors God, the traditions & the culture it was built for...
This is a near duplicate of the smaller original St. Michael’s Mount in Cornwall! Near Marazion? It’s a beautiful well polished jewel. Unfortunately it was ransacked by the ‘King of the Franks’ before this island was named of Mont-Saint-Michel in Normandy. The treasures were never returned.
You're absolutely right! There is a similar, perhaps less grandiose, St Michael's Mount in Cornwall, southwest England. Both are open for visitors. Didn't know about the ransacking though - thanks for the piece of history🤓
@@dweuromaxx no, he's wrong. Mont Saint Michel is the original one, the english one is a small copy. It was the bishop of Mont Saint Michel who created the english version and give it the same name, after Normans's conquest of England. It's funny how english brain-washing is efficient, they thinks it's the opposite, but they're wrong.
It is a shame a place that was used by monks to leave without the world to get closer to God now being used by djas for clubing your ancestors will be ashamed
A magical place, outstanding architecture, a testimonial of how human can achieve wonders even with the lack of technology 1000 years ago... and you pick a mediocre light show dj to celebrate this place? Even a mime show would be better than this absurd show
By a clear night, the illuminated cloister of the abbey looks like a ship floating in the sky. Absolutely stunning!
Wow, jealous of Francois Saint-Jean, working there and LIVING there for years. whooooooa
one of the most amazing historical site on earth, and you send a DJ and turn it into a club
Well, the logic is that it will bring through some younger folk...
my thoughts exactly...pretty sad to bring techno to such a place...as if older Gen's are goon to start rubbing Vick's on their chests and pop pills
Thanks for pointing that out. It doesn’t fit in with that amazing, historic place. Would love to see it someday - without the light show.
times change man you sound like a grumpy grandpa
@@dweuromaxx i just turned 25, this doesn't work. Anglicanism and evangelicalism is dying for a reason.
I went at the church for christmas ceremony as a kid 3 or 3 times and after the curé would give us soup . it was my beautifullest christmas .
When I saw it.. Minis Tirith came in mind..
pretty sure it was the inspiration, or at the very least part of it.
That's why France get most tourists other than any nation on planet ❤

Do you have any travel tips for us?
This place looks like the opening credit of Disney movie. Gorgeous.
It is actually!
Fun fact : the family of the creator of disney came from normandy
We just love ❤️ virtual tourism. It’s funding well spent for historians to share documentaries digitally with the international community ❤
I was there a week ago! Absolutely loved it. If you go, make sure to walk around outside for the best views and around
What mode did you take ? Private tour , car , bus train ? I’m planning to go for a day trip from Paris is possible.
@@Mkaela90 I went on a guided tour from Paris. I used trip advisor to book. Look there and search for mont st michel tours.
What month did you go? How was the weather? I might go in mid-November this year.

Dat DJ guys is surely wearing the coolest outfit I’ve ever seen.
It has a twin, Mount St Michael. Just off the coast of Cornwall in SE England. Straight across the channel.
A must see, merci beaucoup.
The gaudy light show is embarrassingly out of place among this beautiful abbey
No chain made by mortals can hold back that man.

Wow it's Amazing 🤩
I really would like to visit this site one day!
Hope you can make it out there too :)
Wow this is lovely 💕
Wow beautiful, ❤i would like to visit this place someday 😍
When they made the model of Minas Tirith, they used this as a reference.
So cool. Keys look like the ones in the movies 😅🔥
Like a fairy tale...amazing ..
im convinced that this is Minas Tirith
I had a 3d foam puzzle of it when i was young but was pissed off that it only was one half of the Mont

LOVELY
Persians love techno.
St.mikael this is holly place???

A place where a king or rich family had enough people who believed in them they dedicated their lives to living and working together. Strange.
I know this place because of onimusha 3 . Anyone else too??
Village?
I wonder If Tolkien and JK Rolling ever went there...
Authors are always taking inspirations. Look up "water 7" from One Piece
nice place, but dude banging dance tunes in such a place is to me so ridiculous tho
I wonder how they make it they is no house around
7:48.... "doesn't need Added entertainment" neither did any of us.....
Am I the only one thinks this looks like the castle in the sky by studio ghibli?
I don't think the monks and village like being disturbed 😯😳 in such dizzying atmosphere
if youd listened properly, you'd know no one lives in the village 💀
Real Life Minas Tirith
I wonder what something like that would cost to build today?
Minas Tirith in real life
i wanna be high asf when i watch the lightshow
Why am I getting a King's Landing vibe here?

I know this place, Minas Tirith
wasted chance to send RDJ there to perform the greatest song of all time
Why did you call him mihail? Say mitchel withou the itch, its basically mishel
“Mien”🎬
How do people get to live here
I think strike witches used to be there.
Wow! .. that castle remains me scenes from the Harry Potter movie!
It’s not a castle. It’s an abbaye.
Stop calling the Channel or the North Sea, or the Mediterranean "the Ocean". they aren't.
Let’s get gojira here
Looks cool do they have decent restrooms? I poop a lot out of my butt
Boys in France play with Castle replicas?😅
Who will come after watching the package kdrma
Way to trash it up with a dj.
When i win the lottery i think I'll buy it. Live there as a benevolent dictator. Can an estate agent please contact me
