Red is my favorite color, and yet, somehow I do not have a red scarf. I would be honored to wear a scarf of Colleen's. Thank you for your inspiring and charming videos.
What a wonderful episode! MSM is one of the most special places on earth! I visit Fance every 5 years or so. Your channel is great fun and very educational. If there's a Red Scarf still available, I would love one. Cheers, Thomas
What a great video! So sweet of Antione to order extras so you have backups. I would love to be the wearer of an “official” Colleen’s favorite red scarf when I visit Paris in October 😊
Took my mom there a week ago. She had no idea this place existed. I just told her we’re going to a monastery on an island. She was really impressed and surprised.
@@joykelly9649 Daytrip. And, try to get there as early as possible because it can get super crowded. I would also avoid going there in holiday season, again because of crowds.
I completely understand your longing for the red scarf. 20 years ago I moved from the UK to a small village near Montpellier and for the whole time I was there, I was really poor (loving life but nevertheless pretty penniless) and my French friends told me that it was unhealthy to try and get through winter without a scarf and they bought me one! That scarf was so soft and so warm, I absolutely loved it. When I left France after a few years, I left the scarf in the back of the taxi that took me to the airport. I cried for the whole plane journey. I still think about that scarf and your video has shown me that it's not only me that can have their heart captured in this way. I sort of feel "understood" now.
I can relate to that story. Sometimes items just take on a deeper meaning, but maybe you can take a trip there and walk down memory lane, hopefully w friends, and buy yourself a new scarf to remind you of your time there.
I think the Mont Saint-Michel is maybe the most outstanding place on Earth, like the junction point between land, sea an sky, an incredible and beautiful human construction, in the most unusual place of nature, defying elements...
The omelettes, the scenery, your sweetheart, and the famous red scarf, all of it bringing joy to your fans. Thank you for taking us all on these trips with you. 🥰
Thank you for showing that France is much more than only Paris and that there are plenty of places to visit and culinary specialties to eat in each part of France.
Je t'aime Les Frenchies❤❤❤Bonjour from Ohio. I discovered your amazing videos during the Paris Olympics and I watch you both almost everyday. And I now include my Mom who is 88 and an armchair traveler. Your story inspires me so much to save my money and travel again someday. I went to Mont Saint Michel with my french club in the 80's. I saved babysitting money and had a blast. Back then it was 10 francs to the dollar...can you imagine? I wore my traveler checks around my waist. Lol so precious. I know I am months or years too late for the special red scarf offer but I am happy it pushed me to write you both to thank you for living your love and dreams so generously. I knew I could trust you when Jacques Gènin was your favorite. Those gooies of perfection came to me in my 40's. Today at 57 I am making my list for France. Someday soon I will make it back...after I stop crying over the Olympics, so moving, so extraordinary. As Jimmy Fallon's t- shirt read- merci paris. You 2 are just awesome at providing information about France, where to visit, and where to eat. My husband and I I are going to use your videos to plan our May 2025 trip to Normandy. TEARS! I was in tears @ 5:57 when you spoke of "our freedom" and the cost to the young soldiers to make that happen. Thank you! Colleen & Antoine for bringing us on your adventures. That red scarf looks lovely, and I love! chiffon materials, they are delicate and pretty.
My husband and I will be doing our first Europe trip this September - a trip delayed by 15 years! We were to do it in 2008 and then found out we’re having baby #3 and can’t do the trip with a new baby and all. That baby is turning 15 this November and since our eldest is also now old enough to drive, we’re confident to now leave them to do the long awaited trip. We’re fortunate to have found your channel, we’re truly grateful for everything we’ve learned so far! Very happy that you managed to replace your fave red scarf! 😍
The only thing i enjoy more than tagging along on your adventures, is watching how sweet of a couple you are together. "We do cool stuff together" sent me. Love how Antoine stepped in to make your scarf dreams come true Colleen...wouldn't mind having one of my own as well.
My wife and I went to Mont Saint Michel last week from Canada. We decided to skip the shuttle and walk from the parking lot. 2.5km each direction. lol. It was a memorable place to visit.
I would love a red scarf! Thank you Colleen for being yourself. I think you’re a wonderful inspiration to women everywhere. I look forward to Saturday for a new Les Frenchies video. You and Antoine are practical and fun. Thank you for sending your adventures out to the world.

Hello - My husband and I just love your videos and today was no exception. Your scarf story really hit home for us. I have a delightful blue and white striped scarf that I thought I had lost. It actually made me cry. My wonderful husband searched and found it for me. It was endearing to see your husband endeavor to bring you the joy of being reunited with your favorite scarf. We cannot wait to get back to France. But until we do, we will live through your adventures.
We did a bus tour - Normandy, Brittany and Paris, from Slovakia, when our children were small and they stayed at home and my parents looked after them and enabled us to travel and explore the world. it was exhausting doing it by bus, but so stunning, beautiful. I would love to see those places again, this time with our children. Your videos, your warmth, the delicious food always bring a smile to my face. Thank you.
The activity of the middle age monks on Mont Saint Michel was mainly to copy by hand books on parchment as printing did not exist. Original books can be seen at the "Scriptorial museum" at Avranches near Mont Saint-Michel
You guys had me in fits of laughter when you walked on the sqishy-squelchy sand at Mont St Michel. And Antoine’s “Aw, shit”, as he first stepped out on the sand had me spit out a little of my tea as I laughed. As for the red scarf, I could feel the softness of it from here just from Colleen’s reaction. C’est très élégant.
I would love a red scarf ! I love watching you two love birds . You are such a cute couple and you enjoy each other so much . What a great example for other young couples to see . Thanks Debbie
You look fabulous in that scarf that red beautiful bright red scarf! Ray and I won’t be coming this year to France unfortunately but we are planning for next year so we have a lot of time to plan and hopefully meet up with you all this time we will not let a third chance go past us again. This was awesome and we are looking into staying a night or two when we come to visit. You all just make us laugh and smile. This is the best TV that brings us such joy, but not just us so many people. Even if you don’t get to travel physically, it’s still as if we’ve packed our bags and we’re traveling with you all that’s called effective showcasing which is awesome! So beautiful. Good to see you both! Big hugs
Always a pleasure to watch you guys. I'm so glad that you've got not one but five scarfs. Do you know how lucky you are to have an husband who is so thoughtful. Lots of love and light. Thank you for the virtual trip.
I honeymooned in Northern France in 1981with the Paris Travel Service where you booked ahead the day before for each hotel. Mont St Michel was one of the stops and I remember how windy it was on the island. My wife would have benefited from such a lovely scarf, in fact still would! We visited Beauvais, Cloyes, Cheverny, Chateuaneuf and ended up in Paris itself before returning via Calais and the Hovercraft service to Dover. Your video brought back memories, thank you.
What’s not to Love about what you do?! I am in Cambodia and will be back in France in a month with my sister who has never been there. My sister has learned so much about France…and about travel…from your love of this beautiful part of the world. I return because France and her people are part of my identity as an artist and writer. Your joy is genuine and inviting, and you have given permission to my sister to “live” in her retirement. Merci beaucoup. I like red.
Hi Antoine and Colleen! My husband and I are from Canada and never miss your videos. We are in Bordeaux France as I speak and will be heading home from Paris this coming week. We watch your Paris videos to prepare for our trip. Thank you for all you do to inspire us to travel and look forward as you explore more regions in France. We are in our Hotel room watching you both on TH-cam and loved your red scarf story and your travels to Mont-Saint Michel❤
My husband and I have been following you since the beginning of your channel. It is the best part of our Sunday morning! We are going to Normandy this September! Loved watching your joy of opening your RED SCARF! ♥
Since I am now 80 years of age. I appreciate your trip to Mont Saint Michel. I probably would have a problem climbing the steps. I love your videos. My first husband was French and I hope to make another trip to Paris next year. I learn something new with each of your videos. I hope to go to a meet up if I make it back to Paris in 2015. Still so much to see and do.
Collen is so sweet, I'm so happy you got your scarf back. What a joy to see you so happy. Loved this video as I do all of them. The red scarf is beautiful. Enjoy
Oh my gosh, this was everything! Hilarious, I giggled so much, romantic - you made my heart to do a little dance, and so beautiful, and of course informative! You guys are the best! I always wanted to see it, so hopefully one day… One day! ♥️
Yes at "Mère Poulard" it's known to be France's most expensive omelette 😂 But it's an omelette menu with other dishes, and you also pay for the historical place where for 100 years most VIP's of the world had a meal.
GRATEFUL for the walk down memory lane with you! First visited Mont St. Michel in the late ‘70’s while serving in Brussels, then in the early 90’s had a dream trip home from my assignment in the Philippines through Europe and got to revisit Mont St. Michel. I met up with a college friend returning from her assignment in Africa and what a treat it was to show her this splendid place! Making notes of the surrounding locales you introduced and hoping for one more trip back to these splendid destinations. Loving your relationship & your red scarf and hoping to be in the running to receive one! THANK YOU for all the cheer your video has provided!! Sheree
You two are an inspiration to all of us middle-aged couples who still love & enjoy one another EVERYWHERE! The red scarf is the crème on the gateau! 🩷🇫🇷💘
Hey Les Frenchie's. I'd love to put my sister forward for one of your amazing scarves. Over the past few years she has powered through both breast and throat cancer and her number one favourite colour is red. There is not a day that goes by without her wearing something red. I'd like to acknowledge her inner strength and amazing fortitude.
Wow. I've watched you guys for a couple of years now. Absolutely love you. I left the US 2 years ago and now live in Paris. I have tried a lot of your haunts... Off to Mont Saint-Michel this weekend. Oh, and the scarf... oui s'il vous plait.
I’m 100% sure my wife would love the opportunity to be considered for a sister scarf! She’s watched every video and tried to match as many Parisian locations as possible when we’ve visited France
I love all your clips! But I maybe loved THIS one the best of all. My husband and I enjoy your new clips as soon we both find some time to watch it together... and it's always such joy! And, this time you both were in such calm, loving mood. That Antoine got you your scarf was just the cherry on top of a WONDERFUL tiny vacation you gave to us, while we "followed" you! Thank you so much!
4:39 I love France and your videos are so fun and informative. Hearing your story about loosing your favorite red scarf reminded me of when I lost my black “fly away “ cardigan . We stopped for lunch at a restaurant with our tour group while visiting in the alps outside of Grenoble. When we were back on the bus I felt a little cold and realized that I left my sweater at the restaurant. I brought a replacement, but it wasn’t as flowing and soft. So glad that you found your red scarf 🧣. ❤️🇫🇷
You both bring me such joy watching your adventures. It made me cry when Colleen got her echarpe rouge. Antoine is the sweetest husband ever and so kind and thoughtful to share the love with your community offering a red scalf. Congratulations to the winners. X
First time viewer! ❤ And we’re planning a retirement trip for next year. I absolutely loved this video! And that scarf! My hubby would do something like that for me! Congratulations on whomever won! Bon chance!
I love that your sweet hubby bought 5 of your favorite scarves and so generous of you to give 3 of them away. Merci! for all the tips about the area... I get to see these places in a few weeks!!!
My daughter and I went on our first Europe trip last April and really enjoyed our stay in Paris. Thanks to the Les Frenchies for the many videos we watched beforehand on how to get around and what to see and taste. It was a trip of a lifetime. Now my son in law- Thomas, his dream has always been to visit Mont Saint Michel so I will show him this video and I will stay home this time and babysit my grand dog and let them enjoy a romantic trip... and yes red is my favorite color too! Thanks for your videos and helpful tips.
Oui, je voudrais une écharpe rouge , s’il vous plaît! I also want to thank you for your informative, fun videos. They were very helpful when we were preparing for our trip to Paris last year.
I’m another kid in an older body who loves scarves. Loved this video, it had it all…muddy boots, great food, beautiful scenery and the red scarf plot. Tres bien!
You are both amazing! My wife and I enjoy your videos and look forward to our next visit to Paris to try a lot of your hacks…we love your honesty and the love you both share for each other. Stay blessed.
What a wonderful trip and a lovely couple; enjoying each other's company in a lovely place and all it's gifts! So very thoughtful and loving of your husband to buy additional scarves for you that you you love so very much, such a beautiful thing to do ! A beautifully crafted scarf that's made to wrap you in it's dreamy lightness and warmth . Thank you for sharing your trip with us all, I am truly inspired to travel to Mont Saint Michel!!
I traced my French Ancestors back to Normandy so I especially like your Normandy videos. My 14 y.o. Son & I watch all your videos preparing for our future trip to France. The red scarf is lovely ❤🇫🇷❤️🇫🇷
Absolutely adore what a loving special couple you two are! My husband and I are celebrating our 30th anniversary this year and our kids are sending us to Paris! I have always wanted to go to Paris but never had the chance since we were always so busy running our business and raising our two kids. We have been binge watching your channel and created our Paris itinerary around your suggestions. We always look forward to your videos. Love your red scarf and it was fun to hear your story about it. Antoine is an absolute sweetheart to make sure you got your perfect scarf! Much gratitude to you both!
what fun the two of you are having!!! I love to see the pure enjoyment of your emersion into the life styles! This is an enrichment of another culture for sure and pure enjoyment to observe. Thankyou so much!!! Hugs Nancy
Super visite!👏👏👏 L' Église Ste Catherine, quel trésor ! And the food, yum! Thank you so much to both of you ...felt the pain when you were walking up to the top of Mont St Michel....I'm from Montréal in Québec and we have many Normand ancestors ... .
Hi! My husband & I just discovered your channel, and now we watch it almost daily. We've learned a lot and almost feel like we've already been to Paris many times. We're from the Philippines, it's very hot and humid here, so we don't wear scarves a lot. However, the malls do get pretty cold, and I enjoy wearing them. That red suits you, and I think you’ve just influenced me to go get myself a red one. We are grateful for the countless hours of entertainment you have brought into our home.
My wife and I are traveling to Paris for the first time in September from San Diego to fulfill a life long dream of hers. We watch your videos with excitement and anticipation for our trip. She would be honored to dawn that beautiful scarf and follow in the footsteps of your great adventures! Thank you for your consideration.
Thank you for spending Easter with me today ❤. I was so happy the scarf was the correct one. The joy on Colleens face was priceless. I would love to feel the delicious softness. ❤ please pick me if you may? 🙏 ❤❤❤
I love that YOU TWO radiate so much love, fun and respect for one another 🥰 Mum discovered you and now we, like many others I see as well, enjoy your videos together. Red is my favourite colour and hardly a day goes by that I’m not in a scarf (and hat). I really reacted to how you felt about that scarf. What a loving husband to make sure you will always have that scarf ( and his love and caring ) enveloping beautiful you . Thank you for the fun and valuable information you treat us to. Much love from Mum & I on the Sunshine Coast, British Columbia ❤️🇨🇦❤
I found you because my husband and I love watching travel videos and dreaming of future travels. I think it’s lovely because scarves are always my travel souvenir and I love being wrapped up in memories! Love the red scarf and I know why it makes you happy! ❤️
The scarf is so lovely. I'm happy that you were able to get another one! I love scarves as well! Your channel always brings me such joy and a deep desire to tour France. Please keep exploring France and bringing joy to all of us!
Love the red scarf! And the story behind it! We have been planning our trip to France, mainly Paris for awhile, but after watching your videos I've made some changes to our itinerary!! We have both been in the restaurant/hospitality business for 30 years and cannot wait to try the cuisine! We are definitely checking out the small towns in Normandy. The Normandy detour is actually a surprise for my husband - he has no idea. But he has always wanted to see it for himself. Our grandfathers both fought in WW2 and I think our reactions will be just as emotional as both of yours! Thanks so much for your content, From the USVI!
My wife and I love your channel and look forward to watching it together each week! Thank you for all of the tips and recommendations! We are your biggest fans!
So fun. We did a similar trip in 2022 and even stayed at Auberge St Pierre. It's not advertised very well but there is a back door that leads from the hotel directly onto the ramparts. Great for an evening stroll. I highly recommend an overnight stay. The crowds leave at 5:00s (ish) and it becomes an incredibly magical place.
My wife and I love watching your videos together. We have planned our trip to France for years! She loves your videos so much and it would be one of the best surprises I could give her is a famous Le Frenchies scarf! Thanks for all your videos and your wonderful suggestions about restaurants & hotels! Thanks again!
Thanks for the great tour. I was taking notes the entire time as we will be staying on Mont Saint Michele for two nights in the end of April. I love the samples of restaurants and shopping you showed. Bon Jour!!
I just got back from France, & it indeed was magical. We had never left the country before so all 4 of us were excited to go. I had bought the museum & Navigo passes & had everything set. Then the day we arrived I began to get sick followed by one day later my daughter catching what I had. Both my daughter & myself had a bad case of the flu. The entire time we were there we were sick but hey, I got to look down the streets in the Latin Quarter from my 5th floor window & sit & watch the streets of Paris. Ah.. it was a lifetime dream just to be there. 💗 My husband nor my adult son decided they weren't going to leave us behind, so they stayed there in the apartment with us. All the videos I had watched in preparation for our trip from the two of you did come in handy. You allowed me to see & live vicariously in your footsteps while in Paris, & for that I would like to say I will be forever grateful, merci beaucoup. 💓
Colleen I would absolutely LOVE a chance to win that gorgeous red scarf! Thank you so much for taking us all along on this amazing journey! I really enjoyed your playfulness in the mud and how adorable the two of you were with each other.
We love your channel! We will be visiting Paris and Normandy for the first time this year, and we consider you both the best possible tutors preparing us for our highly anticipated adventure.
Just finished your latest video. Thoroughly enjoyed watching you two interact. My adult son and I are planning our European tour this September and October , yes 1 whole month. I’ve never been to Europe. Super excited . I have taken so many notes from all your videos and plan on purchasing your information filled book. We’ll be living in the 4 th arrondissement. All the food, the sights, the sounds. Can’t wait. I would love to wear your beautiful Red scarf with pride. Viva La France.
I can see why you loved that red scarf. It is beautiful! Love the wispiness of it. Thanks for your videos! Planning on being there this fall, so lots of good information. If you haven't given all the scarfs away, I would love one. Thanks again!
After I had a double mastectomy is when I started wearing scarves. (The doctors don’t warn you about how tender your entire chest is all the way up to your neck afterwards) Before then I didn’t realize the many different designs and textures there could be in a scarf. I understand what you mean by how special certain scarves can be to a person. Thanks for the lovely video.

My wife would love a red scarf! We have been watching you the past year as we will be coming to Paris this October for our 25th anniversary!
Benjamin
Big hugs
Well said!❤
I love Mont St Michel. Been there 3 different times. Have not been to the other places on your video. Would love a red scarf.
Always a pleasure to watch you guys. I'm so glad that you've got not one but five scarfs. Do you know how lucky you are to have an husband who is so thoughtful. Lots of love and light. Thank you for the virtual trip.
Accidentally stumbled on your channel and you two are absolutely amazing together. Thanks for sharing a glimpse of your lives with us. Cheers!
Thank you for watching!
thank you!!
They are truly the sweetest couple, with the yummiest red scarf
Thank you for inspiring me to visit this beautiful place! I booked a day tour, and it was a fantastic experience! ❤
Wonderful!
"Man cannot discover new oceans unless he has the courage to lose sight of the shore." - André Gide❤👏
My husband and I have been following you since the beginning of your channel. It is the best part of our Sunday morning! We are going to Normandy this September! Loved watching your joy of opening your RED SCARF! ♥
YAY I'm so happy she was able to get a replacement scarf! ❤❤❤
thank you!!
You two are tooo adorable! I would love to have friends like you guys. 💙💖
aawwww ☺️
Since I am now 80 years of age. I appreciate your trip to Mont Saint Michel. I probably would have a problem climbing the steps. I love your videos. My first husband was French and I hope to make another trip to Paris next year. I learn something new with each of your videos. I hope to go to a meet up if I make it back to Paris in 2015. Still so much to see and do.
Collen is so sweet, I'm so happy you got your scarf back. What a joy to see you so happy. Loved this video as I do all of them. The red scarf is beautiful. Enjoy
Mont St. Michel is magical at night.
Oh my gosh, this was everything! Hilarious, I giggled so much, romantic - you made my heart to do a little dance, and so beautiful, and of course informative! You guys are the best! I always wanted to see it, so hopefully one day… One day! ♥️
The omelettes were 130 euros? 😱
Yes at "Mère Poulard" it's known to be France's most expensive omelette 😂
But it's an omelette menu with other dishes, and you also pay for the historical place where for 100 years most VIP's of the world had a meal.
No !
For only an omelette it's about 35 €.
YIKES! 😂
Mine was tasteless
GRATEFUL for
the walk down memory lane with you!
Sheree
You two are so easy to watch. The interaction in the Calvados shop is so relatable! I love the energy of a smart/particular shopper! ❤
Love this I travelled France for a month last year and was so confident thanks to your videos!
I cracked up when Antoine said
‘Oh, sh#+! So, so funny. 😅
And, so nice to watch a couple so happy and in love. ❤
🤣🤣🤣
Such a lovely couple & love your red scarf, Colleen!
Thank you so much
I love your new red scarf! Looks so soft and comfy! Definitely a staple of Les Frenchies
Visiting Mont Saint-Michel was the highlight of our trip last year.
She looks radiant with that red scarf. I was furtunate to go both places not once but twice. Thanks for bringing the sweet memories.
Yes, please! The red scarf is amazing. I will wear it this July when I come to watch my daughter row at the Olympics!!!
Bon chance!
🙂❤️👍
I love that your sweet hubby bought 5 of your favorite scarves and so generous of you to give 3 of them away. Merci! for all the tips about the area... I get to see these places in a few weeks!!!
Thanks!
Thank you!
You two make the most wonderful and happy couple. Nice to see such genuine love. Red is my favorite color Colleen!
I wanna have the scarf pleeeease🧣 ❤ ! Lovely video as usual guys ! Can’t wait to go to France later this year !🇫🇷
Keep up the great content!
Thank you for spending Easter with me today ❤. I was so happy the scarf was the correct one. The joy on Colleens face was priceless. I would love to feel the delicious softness. ❤ please pick me if you may? 🙏 ❤❤❤
This video is filmed like a travel show, with the vibe of a Bob Ross painting video - SUPERB
What a lovely video! I loved the Mont St. Michel journey.
I love that YOU TWO radiate so much love, fun and respect for one another 🥰
Mum discovered you and now we, like many others I see as well, enjoy your videos together.
Much love from Mum & I on the Sunshine Coast, British Columbia
❤️🇨🇦❤
I found you because my husband and I love watching travel videos and dreaming of future travels. I think it’s lovely because scarves are always my travel souvenir and I love being wrapped up in memories! Love the red scarf and I know why it makes you happy! ❤️
🙂❤️👍
The scarf is so lovely. I'm happy that you were able to get another one! I love scarves as well! Your channel always brings me such joy and a deep desire to tour France. Please keep exploring France and bringing joy to all of us!
Awesome video, really enjoying the channel. You guys are great on camera!
Thank you!
That scarf is absolutely beautiful. When I was in France last May, we spent a day at Mont Saint Michel. It is such an amazing place.
You’ve inspired me to visit Normandy- the towns are so picturesque-and I can see why you wanted to get your new scarf- really vibrant and lovely.
My wife and I love watching your videos together. We have planned our trip to France for years! She loves your videos so much and it would be one of the best surprises I could give her is a famous Le Frenchies scarf! Thanks for all your videos and your wonderful suggestions about restaurants & hotels! Thanks again!
Thank you for your lovely videos. So nice to watch you as a happy couple visiting these interesting places and appreciating the French culture ♥️🌺
Thanks for the great tour. I was taking notes the entire time as we will be staying on Mont Saint Michele for two nights in the end of April. I love the samples of restaurants and shopping you showed. Bon Jour!!
Sounds great!
My husband nor my adult son decided they weren't going to leave us behind, so they stayed there in the apartment with us.
All the videos I had watched in preparation for our trip from the two of you did come in handy. You allowed me to see & live vicariously in your footsteps while in Paris, & for that I would like to say I will be forever grateful, merci beaucoup. 💓
You are such a lovely couple. I love watching your videos.
You are so kind
Colleen I would absolutely LOVE a chance to win that gorgeous red scarf! Thank you so much for taking us all along on this amazing journey! I really enjoyed your playfulness in the mud and how adorable the two of you were with each other.
Oh i love that scarf!😍
Of course they do, people just don't listen.
we loved MSM! We also stayed the night it was magical . Your scarf also looks lovely.
