Hi, thanks for your experience. I would like to play that game too, but I have only GTX 1650 Ti in my laptop with ryzen 4600H. Do you think it could playable? Does someone played it on a similar config?
Hard to say, true that this game has very low requirements. You can give it a try, game is so cheap like 1$ purchase now and mod is free on steam - just click to play. If it will run on high resolutions on flat screen with more than 144fps it should work fine. Let me know when you try it, I am curious as well. It all depends on your headset it will require some extra CPU power to run head and motion tracking.
Hey! I am really intested in buying it, but I noticed that the hand models/tracking seem... shakey? As if the sensors are not capturing the movement very well. Is that normal?
I think it is the mod problem (game thinks that menu is far away in space and it is simulating mouse cursor). Maybe a bit of my left shaky hand can be issue as well because I need to hold grip button when navigating and it adds a bit pressure to hand. In most of games and in steamVr desktop pointers are super smooth. Tracking issue is noticeable in different scenario - when you hold controler in front od eyes so close than you almost touching helmet and the second one in straight line where view is obstructed by first hand. I found that annoying in one game so far (into the radius when using sniper scopes but strange enough in hl2 vr mod when using sniper crossbow it works better). You can check pointer tracking here for comparision th-cam.com/video/scz2KNtHEs4/w-d-xo.html
@@juu226 Got it, thank you! By the way, I saw on the description that you use a displayport. Is it the official Pico Neo one? Or are there other options? I mean, I found some "streaming links" that are cheper but I don't know if there are any differences. I just want to be able to play half-life alyx, etc
@@ExteriorDude Yes, official DP cable is included in a box with Neo 3 Link, there is also reduction to mini DP so you don't have to buy anything extra to get it working unless you want to go wireless. Included PicoLink app will do wireless video streaming but Virtual Desktop is much better as people saying only it cost about 20$ (you need to buy it from app store, steam version is not for Pico). For me better option is DP as it is simple, straightforward, no lag and artifacts, lower GPU requirements.
