Anyone else's grocery budget out of control?!
What do you make at home to improve your health and cut costs?

Baking your own bread has probably been the most polarizing! 😂 is it worth it to you??

I process my own venison, too, as well as feral hogs. All that free meat for only the cost of one round of ammunition. Oh, and a rifle of course. And the camo, the cost of a deer lease, blind, hunting license, gas back and forth, a grinder, smoker, freezer...lol. Still, it feels free.

😂😂 I figure my husband would hunt anyway so the cost of an expensive hobby = discounted quality meat!

These are very practical! 💯 I accidentally created an “ice cream” only using papaya and evaporated milk. I intended to make a simple fruit shake but I found out that I should’ve brought condensed milk. 😅

Try purchasing packing house cuts of beef and cutting them your self.
I'm lucky enough to have 4 different retail food chains near me.
I go to all of them, and buy the stock on sale.
These items the store breaks even on at best....they just get you in the store.
Pay close attention and you'll notice what I'm talking about.
One item I do splurge on is Blue Bunny "bunny tracks" ice cream! Try it.
Also your typical audience may benefit from continuing to make the same payments to themselves after they're out of debt!
Learn to invest, like a pro!

Wallmart in my area sells bakery bread for $1 per loaf, I feel its not worth my time to make my own.
If a person practices financial discipline, they will prosper...whatever you practice you become good at.
    On the investing part...
I like to sell cash secured puts on ticker SPY to get the position at a discount to current market value.
Fund managers are people too..they get nervous and pay a premium for insurance. Great hedging technique...to keep your long positions moving forward.

I agree about the bread! Not worth it for the money saved alone. I do it more for the health benefits and the cost savings is a bonus

With your background in bookkeeping/accounting trading stock options may work for you.
      There are many free simulators.
      You have nothing to lose.
I'm assuming you're debt free, since you're offering advice to others.
