Rogue, powered up again during the events of M day and Phoenix force. she went back to only being able to store one mutability at a time since the start of House of X and power of X.
*rubs hands like birdman* its about to go down!
And the ending of this is amazing (rob in every single intro) 😂❤
I want to create a mutant whose ability is to have a arm pop up behind their head that can only give the bird. Then I want Jonathan Hickman to write this character.
I'm diggin' the hallway/auditorium sound. Fantastic!!!
geez !!! NEED to find me some Time in order to Sit and READ ALL of these issues !!!
Cyclops is awesome. He stands against the tide and fights for whats right!
You mean when he took the Phoenix power from his allies and killed Charles? Then was a bad guy for years? Typical goofy.
Absolutely love what you do for comic book fans. Keep going. You’re doing great.
Dude how can you not love cyclops? He is both restricted and uninhibited. He is the better version of the aspect of superman who is afraid to let loose his power. Dude can just fly away but cyclops has to live with it.
You've never read all star superman and kingdom come
His power is also a disability that he'll always have to live with. Man's got the weight of the world on his shoulder, never takes a breather, makes those tough calls, loses friends, family but keeps going. That's an interesting character. A superhero with actual flaws.
16:29 this is what I absolutely love about Emma; she doesn't hold back when necessary
They had to do that for story purposes because Everytime we've seen Wolverine try to pierce Juggernaut with his ADAMANTIUM claws it never works but your telling me a ADAMANTIUM harpoon pierces him?
He's wrong! trust me.
In some comics, Cyclops' vision seems to be written as heat, but mostly concussive force. Maybe it was from having the phoenix force, but I remember him using his vision to fuse the tectonic plates together to prevent earthquakes
"Why are people obsessed with Cyclops? He can just shoot concussive blasts!"
Much like Big Blue in DC, it is not about the powers but about the character themself.
15:51 Emma Frost just performed Itschi Uchiha’s “Infinite Tsukuyomi”.
Cyclops only has concussive blasts? He has been the leader since day one. No one spent more time in the danger room, probably the xmens best tactician
Storm was the leader for a while
Boo
Marvel's best tactician really. Dude literally worries and plans about threats that don't exist yet in his spare time.
Rob, watching you from the start up to now has been akin to listening to Redman for the 1st time and his growth in style change with every album(ultra compliment)
Put respect on Cyclops' name.
When that head twisted, I was like
OH MY GOD!!!!
Cyclops has been perfect this entire krokoa era.
Rob will fit in a “inhumans suck”
anyway he can 😂😂😂
ive been follow comics explained since in fb.. accurate explanation and he has a vast knowledge in comics.. when it comes of story telling his the 1 that worth searching for.. like he knows how it begins and how it ends.. legit of legit..
Imagine thinking Cyclops just shoots “concussive blast” 😅
ya feel me
Juggernaut commentary is top tier! “And then he helps them finish with all their living” took me out 😂
i thought cyclops’ eye laser was like superman’s lol (16:22 he cuts off a head!)
Can cyclops perform surgery with it like superman?
or zig zag it like darkseid? in season 1 of xmen t.a.s. he makes a tunnel through a mountain with them, that's more than a laser punch rob! he also gets his power from the sun so must be some heat involved! lol @@johnlawful2272
@@johnlawful2272 No. His beams are uncontrollable *portals* to a dimension *packed* with the energy.
Cyclops is akin to a hammer, while Supes' closer to a scalpel.
@@XXMatt0040XX superman is far far stronger than cyclops he even used heat vision to weld a tear in the universe even beat multiverse threats also marvel keeps switching from punch dimension to he gets his power from radiation
@@johnlawful2272 There's one thing though, Cyclops' eyes *do not fire off heat vision.*
Wow, so the main X-Men timeline has caught up two days of future past. I know it’s probably not gonna be cold this but that ball looks like a sentinel satellite .
dude the x-men krakoa arc has been wrapping up and having “finales” for years now
Roll with it bro.
It could actually wrap up though they do that to fall in line with the mcu
Comics explained narration and deep dive is cool.
Cyclops is my favourite the coolest x man by far
This feels like this is the time when Ultron and the Super Adaptoid comes in, but since they're not X-Men characters...
*Mouth making fart noise*🤷
Seeing Cyclops in Xmen Schism step up as a leader in a more militant way like Magneto and blast Wolverine's smug face off gave me a whole lot more respect for him as a character.
I actually agree. I think "being punched in the face with lazers" IS the best description of Cyclops optic blast
I am shocked that Alia Gregor died!
Reminds me of when robot killed Cecil
No one explains comics better than Rob 👊🏽
Dude. Cyclops doesn’t “just” shoot concussive blasts. That’s like saying Captain America just punches things. His eyes hit as hard as the Hulk, his accuracy is better than Hawkeye, and he is arguably the best tactician and leader in ALL comics. Put respect on his name.
In all comics? Bro I love the character but chill lol even storm gets to be leader sometimes in the xmen
@@Melancholic.0 Storm is also a great leader. Cyclops being great doesn’t mean she isn’t also awesome. She definitely brings a different style of leadership that’s more emotionally supportive. Tactically though Cyclops takes it.
@@Melancholic.0 lol, a random Storm stan appears. No one said anything about her.
@@Alex-qy8nj I'm referencing the statement, the best leader in all comics and it's like he is not always the best leader in the xmen
How come Cyclops with his concussive blasts could incinerate Magento's head off in Marvel Ultimatum?
Storm was popular when she had no powers and was leading the X-Men as well as the Morlocks later.
Have you seen 97 early Rob?
I love Rob's Inhumans hate. 😂
Did he say harpoon made from wolverines skeleton??
yes there was one story many months ago where Wolverine kept dying and being reborn over and over back to back in an assault to try and kill Nimrod, in that event Orchis got its hands on about 15 Wolverine Skeletons
Mr. Sinister got put in Tsukuyomi 😂
2:20: This is why I've not been an X-Men for *years.* I just feel like they're milking the war stuff. It's boring at this point imo.
And the writing just so dishonest. Everything the X-men do is just good, doesn't matter if it is almost as bad as Orcys sometimes...
@@tiborcsendes5269 The fact that people like Kitty Pride as a... psychopath... is all I need to say.
im still mad that you didn't cover the "fight" between legion and uranos
Glad to hear Rob will never be Team Boy Scout. 🎉🎉
You're finally back!
Rob, is your mic getting more echo or are you using a different sound setup? Thanks for a great video, as always!
"The first thing Juggernaut does is help them understand their place in the bigger picture" 😂
Tieining this in with Days of Future Past is really good. After Hickman left I was noticeably unphased by the rest. . . Let's hope this end the way it should.
Good work!
Ah, ye olde Death Laser in space.
A timeless classic.
I like how Kitty mentioned Dracula, who the X-Men actually brought back to unlife to deal with Drac's son. Nice little nod to something that occurred 20 years ago.
So Nimrod and the Sentinel AI have basically become Ultron. Ultron should sue for breach of copyright of his plan.
Never thought I’d see Apocalypse smile genially towards someone like that. He’s got a great smile!
