You missed "Get the fu*k outta here." Serge and Axel have a back and forth when Serge is working in an art gallery. Axel asked how much a price of art is. Serge answers "$130,000." Axel replies with, "Get the Fu*k outta here!" Serge "I cannot". Then it happens again when Serge and Axel are viewing the house in Axel F, and the realtor mentions there are 6 bathrooms. Axel: "This place has 6 bathrooms? " Serge : "Yes." Axel: "Get the fu*k outta here!" Serge: "I cannot." The banter goes on, but you get it.😂😂
Definitely was a top call back. It is one of the most memorable lines because he goes high in the register. It's probably a top 3 Beverly hills Cop moment.
I do, and while it wasn't the best, it also happened in Beverly Hills Cop 3 when Serge is showing off The Annihilator 2000. Serge: "I'm selling 100 of these. They're on back order." Axel: "Get the Fu*k outta here!" Serge: I cannot!".
How did you not mention that Foley is STILL driving around in his "same crappy blue Chevy Nova", which is now in beautiful fully restored condition? (You know, because all that sh!t that happened the last time he parked at the Harold Club.)
Actually there are a couple of easter eggs you missed: the mansion Axel invades in this film looks just like the one in the first movie. And, of course, Judge Reinhold's joke, showing his badge. Great fun, this movie.
i watched this with my dad and i pointed that out and he goes i haven't seen that in years he did not remember it also nobody's seems to mention this anywhere on this but NO SHAKY CAM sorry for the all caps but it's an action film with no Shaky Cam and i really missed that in newer movies.
Axel F was amazing. I rewtached the original three after my oarents showed them to me a few years ago. Personally, the Beverly Hills cop franchise never disappoints!
The first Beverley Hills Cop is the best one out of the whole trilogy. Also if you want to watch something similar to Beverly Hills Cop I recommend watching 48 Hours.
And the black cop that "tased" him is Eddie Murphys "newly minted" Son in law 😜 Note: His Son in Law may not be like his daughter Bria but, in the end he's still Family 😝
my favourite is when theyre meeting that uncle of that accused kid , and he says im a very complex , and axel says , yes you are like a big beautiful onion lol , an obvious reference to shreks onions analogy when murphy voiced donkey
Beverly Hills Cop Axel F is the most satisfying BHC movie ever, it's nicely done. Apart from this, I love the first and second movies. Although the third one for me is mundane, it showcases the theme park.
Tell what you want, but all four films are pretty good. Yes, even the third. Just because it wasn't the '80's vibe' to it but one of the 90's variety doesn't mean it's bad. They all have their 'bad moments', but good stuff outweighs the bad in every one. 1 was just a generally great (buddy) cop action comedy. 2 was a pretty spot-on 80's time capsule with great character chemistry of the main trio. 3 was a rather neat 90's action comedy film, while formulaic in many areas, still delivered goods. 4 is an awesome throwback with a few modern twists thrown in, that makes it feel both 'of the time' and outrageously 'modern' action. I love them all and you can't tell me they're all that bad. If you tell me otherwise, you're a phony fan. I've used to be into shintoism, and I can smell a fishy 'fan' when I see one. You ain't calling yourself a fan if you're calling those films bad. You wanna talk Beverly Hills Cop films, tell me what you like about them and point out the bad moments, don't just call them shit. Fuck you, man. Banzai. As far as the easter eggs/callbacks, really hit me with that 'Get the F Out - I cannot' exchange between Axel and Serge during checking of the mansion. And the whole laydown shootout in the mansion with Taggart and Rosewood? And let's be real - whole opening with the snowplow was a grand homage to the cement shaker from the 2nd. Not to mention the musical cues throughout - the obvious one is the Axel F theme, but the 'Sneak To Shooting Club' bopping and 'Bad Guys' villains' throughline from the 2nd one?
Could be just me, but there was a scene when Axel was driving and there was a blonde lady with short hair driving. Seemed to be a nod to Brigitte Nielsen’s character in BHC II.
I enjoyed this new movie and I'm happy they did it. I'm not going to lie and say "Beverly Hills Cop" was my favorite set of movies ever but I always really enjoyed the first two (I was born in '89 so I wasn't really even watching movies even when the third one came out) but I've seen the first one a bunch of times over the years and I'll watch it at least once a year because it's fun. All in all, I'm happy they did this and I'm happy it's well received for the most part. Eddie Murphy is the man.
Although not a BHC Easter egg, there's the Wesley Snipes reference. Back in "Showtime" Eddie's character mentions wanting to work with a Wesley Snipes-type. In the "The Art of War" Wesley Snipes tries to pass himself off as Eddie by imitating his iconic laugh. And of course they have worked together recently in "Dolemite is My Name" and "Coming 2 America."
The music. The soundtrack included a lot of songs from the first two movies Also, reportedly the actor who played Victor in the first film was a driver stuck in traffic during the shoot out, though I haven't been able to confirm that. I did like that they had a picture of Inspector Todd on the wall in Paul Reisers office.
I get why Shooter McGavin is in it. It's an in-joke that goes something like "You know when fans speculate about a movie for years and when it finally comes out there's like three times more Shooter McGavin in it than you ever thought possible?" . The joke isn't actually about the character Shooter McGavin, but about the actor that plays him and everybody just calls him Shooter McGavin when they see him in something. I guess you had to be there to get it. But for those that were it's really funny!!!
There's actually a lot of jokes in these movies that are for a ridiculously small audience. A lot of the dialogue between Axel and Jane is a reference to something else outside the movie. The conversation about Kevin Bacon winning a certain type of ribbon. Whenever Axel subtly breaks the 4th wall, like in his last line in the movie. Them saying "Saunders" over and over again. It's all stuff that makes no sense in the script unless you already know what they're talking about. I'd have to see the movie again though there was so much of it. It's kind of genius, but not for everybody. Bit of Where's Waldo type movie too, that's why the guy pronounces his own name as "Search", he's prompting the target audience to SEARCH for the subtle references. Even Serge's new haircut is a joke about someone. Again, it's only funny if you know.
And like it's no accident that Wesley Snipes was in the Coming To America sequel, and casual audiences watching that for the first time might wonder "where do I know that guy from?", and then you got Eddie's line here "That's that actor, Wesley Snipes!". If you showed those two clips together, bam, you've got the ingredients for comedy. So that's a setup for a joke that hasn't been made yet.
You also missed the scene where Axel and Abbott sits in the bar and Axel begins to clap and walk towards Chaolino. He does the same thing in beverly hills cop 3 where he begins to clap and walk towards Ellis DeWalt who stands on a scene being congratulated
I think she forgot about the soundtrack ....That should've been number 1 ....Gave me every bit of nostalgia from the first movie .......Neutron Dance .....The Heat is on......Stir it up ....New Attitude ....and of course Axel F.......
I don’t care what anyone says, I will always love Beverly Hills 3 since I was a kid when I was introduced to the Beverly Hills Franchised through it and as a kid, it did ease me into the franchise. The first one is amazing, but as a kid, I may have lost interest with how adult it was.
In Jeffrey’s office is a picture of Inspector Todd. BHC 4 was made by Netflix who is also making Happy Gilmore 2. That’s the connection. Oh and in the beginning Axel is shown still driving his crappy blue Chevy nova from BHC 1. Kind of another Easter egg is the inclusion of Shakedown, Neutron Dance and Heat is On from previous films. Taggert also briefly mentions how he retired once calling back to BHC 3.
1:36 except, Jeffery doesn't take a HUGE bite outta Foley during this lil' Pow-Wow. not like Inspector Todd from 1 and 2. i love how they can sorta remain friends even though one outranks the other.

Beverly Hills cop two - opening heist
Inspector Todd’s picture on the wall. Which is a sweet tribute to him, showing he hasn’t been forgotten.
Airwolf-like music in the helicopter scene. ❤
Axel taking off with the meter maid car while they play Neutron Dance!
Axel F is so good. Having Rosewood and Taggert brought back so much nostalgia for the fans.😀
Absolutely!
Keep up the great work guys. 💪
Thanks a lot! We appreciate your support!
You're welcome.
I would of loved at least a line that explained where bogamil was
Loved The Shooter McGavin cameo. I was like, " Wow; he exists in this universe." 🎉
The minute I saw him, I was like "... Shooter?!"
I was wondering. But why? Plus i feel like maybe that was a nod to the 2nd Happy Gilmore that is coming.
Not really because he is not named so not technically
You missed "Get the fu*k outta here."
Serge and Axel have a back and forth when Serge is working in an art gallery. Axel asked how much a price of art is.

He redeemed himself for part 3 with this one. Such a good movie
Some more references
- Axel drives a crappy blue chevy nova in the opening
- Multiple soundtrack reuses such as Heat is on, shakedown, neutron dance
- When axel drives the snow plow, pretty much every cop in Detroit knows it's him, like in the first movie.
- Axel picks up a phone call with a ridiculous accent like he does in beverly hills cop 2
- Jeffery tells him he isn't 20 anymore, which is Eddie Murphy said was difficult when performing stunts
- There's the usual montage of beverly hills when axel returns
- Taggart greets Axel with the same punch he does in the first movie
- Axel says get the fu©k out of here and Serge says no I cannot
- There's a joke about layers from shrek
- Billy asks if Axel took Bobby to a strip club yet.
- Axel causes the same cop chase that rosewood caused in Beverly hills cop 2
- Taggart arrives with the same shotgun from the trunk, and he and Billy take cover while bantering as they did in the first movie
- Axel blindfires like he did in the first movie
- Axel gets shot again like in Beverly Hills cop 1 and 3
- Axel says trust me and the screen pauses.
- the song "here we go" incorporates the axel f theme
I see you mahn. Watchmojo might have to redo this video with your points. Well done
Don't forget the donkey (Shrek) reference " I am ( a donkey) on the edge...."
Also Billy showing his badge during a gun fight and taggart hating him doing it.

I loved this movie! It was everything a BHC fan would want. Good job to the whole team that made this.
Inspector Todd’s picture can be seen in Jeffrey’s office. I thought that was a nice tribute to the character and the actor
I very much enjoyed this legacy sequel. Hit all the nostalgia buttons, and Kevin Bacon made for a very good sleazy antagonist.

What was your favorite part of the new movie?
This is a redemption.
You forgot to mention that shrek reference in the movie where he talks about onions and layers
Oh, I knew that was from something but now I know, thanks!
Axel F was a good movie I like how he was still wearing the iconic jacket
One of the officers that arrrests Foley in Beverley Hills is Eddie's Daughter Bria
And the black cop that "tased" him is Eddie Murphys "newly minted" Son in law 😜

Shooter McGavin cameo hints at how happy Gilmore 2 is on Netflix
8:48 yeah I’m suprised he was able to play golf at alll
I was sure the mob beat him to the point of no recovery
40 years since the original, that's insane.
The "pile up" car chase 😂😂😂

8:29 his fan love for Stallone saved the day …… TWICE
Beverly Hills Cop 2 is still my favorite, where they have the party at the Playboy Mansion and Hugh Hefner has his own cameo.
I like the George Lucas cameo in part 3
5:52 that guy has issues yet I can’t stop laughing
Part four s definitely the second best one in the series
Agreed
SERGE!! loved him!! so funny
I like how they brought back classic songs like "Neutron Dance", "The Heat Is On", & Of Course, the ever popular "Theme Song"
This movie was a damn love letter to tge fans. Loved to see the trio. Its magical.
I wish they would have said something about Bogomil. They could have said one sentence like he retired and moved...something.

awesome job about Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F Callbacks and Easter Eggs from Top 10
"I'm pretty Alex's "What's everyone standing around for?" in the fourth film was Alex embracing his inner Inspector Todd.
I don't recall Axel doing his trademark laugh in Axel F. I feel that was a big miss.
Honorable mention, most of backsound music takes from all three movie with include several new one
"Layered like an onion", clear callback to Shrek
