It wasn't that Whitney didn't like interviews these were the Bodyguard years. This woman was OVERWORKED. The touring, the awards shows, the movies, the music. Whitney was the biggest female star anywhere at this point.
You could tell she was vocally tired of all the touring, but Nippy was a vocal athlete and determine to give a show to Nelson Mandela and South Africa. Even her speaking voice was tired. Her heart was so beautiful and loving.
