Imagine being in Whitney's shoes, knowing you have this problem and the world watching. No one offering a helping hand in the media, just wanting to know every little detail of her drug problems. Even when she was clean later in life, she could never get away from it. I hate the disgusting toxic media in this world.

I am watching this video, and it is just heartbreaking. She had no privacy. Also, no one knows how devastating it would be for her to be losing her God-given talent. None of us knows how incredibly heart wrenching that must have be for her. It breaks my heart. She lost her way, despite what she said, but she should not have been harassed for private behaviour. This interview just seemed like a linch mob. Such a sad ending for a troubled past. This blows my mind. I still can’t believe she and her daughter are gone. I hope the rest in peace. It’s tragic that the media had zero mercy on her. They called her a crack head, strung out, too skinny, lost her voice, everything BUT gave her empathy, concern, and space to deal with her demons. I wonder, if a bit more kindness and support would have saved her. It’s interesting that very current artists are going through the same thing and are labeled hero’s, brave, resilient, and progressive for putting their problems in the forefront. Whitney was simply not treated with any kindness from the public or media. This interview is great proof of prying as opposed to sincere concern.

I totally agree, I do believe she wasn’t high in this interview, I believe she was fed the fuck up, with everything and everyone and was actually asking for help without asking for help if that makes any sense. I do believe marrying Bobby Brown WAS her biggest mistake, and EVERYONE told her that even her mangers, her parents, her best friend Robyn even that evil Clive Davis but Whitney was a grown woman and did what she wanted to do. There were just to many red flags 🚩 and she knew it, I think she married him to stop those lesbian rumors to be honest, and then she learned to love him. Remember they had a long distance relationship and then all of a sudden he asked her to marry him after telling her he got his child mothers pregnant again. Damn I miss this woman, but she left us ALL with her music that WILL NEVER EVER GO OUT STYLE. This might sound kind of messed up, but it’s not. I’m glad she isn’t here anymore even if us her fans miss her. Reason being a lot of people used and abused her family, so called press, I mean they beat this woman down when she was already down, trying to lift herself back up. Her record company should have did more to help her, but they didn’t they worked her just like her family did like she was robot. Then told her she couldn’t live in her truth, she was bisexual and she was in love with Robyn. The evil family of her’s and Bobby Brown pushed and forced Robyn out of her life which was there and Whitney’s biggest mistake, Robyn was the only one who had Whitney’s best interest at heart and tried to get her help and even told her mother and they did NOTHING cause she was the money train.

However, I could see that the media were unfair towards her. She seemed normal to me. Maybe, nobody had ever seen a whitney interview before this! However, she always had a witty, sassy personality. Super smart. I also remember, I had a friend at my house while we watching it, and the first thing she said was "she looks so pretty". I wish they left her alone and stopped judging. She'd probably still be here. As would Bobbi Kristina.

Her daughter was the only positive thing going that wasnt complicated, they needed each other, regardless of Whitney's addictions & demons,, your family you don't abandon each other, your family may have helped create the problems, but her daughter didn't cause them, first loves, young inexperienced, extreme wealth, the leeches start showing up, sad that Whitney and her daughter couldn't have escaped to a private place to get good help and relief. She not only got addicted to drugs but was a victim of domestic violence, where was Whitney's support team? Where's someone other than Bobby Kristina who was there for Whitney? The toxicity of poor family relationships brought Whitney's death on, as well as Bobby Kristina s. The poor girl was famed to live up to other people's expectations... & didn't have a chance to be herself, get some space, heal, gather up her courage to be whom she needed to be for her daughter, she was hounded and hunted like a dog. No respect ..people around her should be ashamed, Bobby taught her that and much more, people in her circle used her, cause she had a heart and a talent they found a way to destroy her physocologically/ mentally .. those people were rooted in greed .. arrogance, pushing her, extremely sad and very tragic. Forget rest in peace, bless her soul, she deserved so much more in life, and she gave it all to us, Today, we as society need to give more to others, our partners, than take, reprocitity is learned, taught, led by examples,,, parents teach your children well.. .it's sad that the media profits on such deaths.. .

The negative influences of this world are designed to make our heart sick through emotional & physical pain resulting in a given person turning to music as one source of comfort to the body. The painful realty of this existence gives rise to the birth of music in two forms, earthly & HEAVENLY. Earthly music speaks to the experiences of this world through the singer-song writer’s eyes. Oftentimes drug use (i.e. alcohol, smokes, marijuana, cocaine, opioids, benzos and propofol to name a few) is intertwined with the survival of an artist to deal with the pressure of performing in order to stay relevant in the music industry, and to serve as fuel for creativity. As a result, music celebrities develop a tendency to sin against their body, through excessive drug use, for not measuring up to or to satisfy the demands of their music. Any earthly joy they experience is darkened by the heavy burden of performing and the loss of privacy.
The end users of their music become fans because the lyrics are relatable and the sound of the singer’s voice & rhythm helps them cope with the pains of this reality. Unfortunately, this band aid approach is only a time out from the hurt and in the meantime we are fortifying its wall with painful memories waiting in line. Who can save us from wounds that are silent, wordless and cruel all the while tearing us apart inch by inch on the inside, which could radically accelerate the demise of the human body? I will use caps as emphasis to show the honest reverence for GOD'S SOVEREIGNTY when writing about HEAVENLY music in the paragraphs below.
That INVINCIBLE DIVINE be our HEAVENLY FATHER, WHO THROUGH HIS SON’S MISSION HAS INSPIRED believers to write songs that sing of HIS LIFE GIVING LOVE to deal with emotional & physical pain, economic instability, mortality and the emotional instability of others with the motive of winning over souls for HIS KINGDOM. The melody & theme of HEAVENLY music is hateful and intolerable to the devil, a spirit which causes us to be blinded of the effects of sin and is responsible for the woes of this world such as melancholy, anguish, tribulation and trial. These agitations of the soul create a heavy burden for the lost and could lead him or her to be hostile of songs that sing about GOD’S GLORY. This makes it clear that we cannot win the spiritual battle by our own strength. Moreover, on earth the devil has no equal.
GOD has provided us with the ONE WHO CAN AND WILL LIFT the heavy burden of sin's guilt from a given sinner's heart if he or she (through faith) would open their understanding to Psalms (starting with the focus on Psalms 51:1-10 KJV), and hymns/songs giving praise to HIM for the purpose of being persuaded, converted and healed by the HOLY SPIRIT from within by transforming your body/temple into a meeting place for you and the KING OF THE AGES to commune as friends through the born again experience (repentance manifesting itself in a changed life). It is only here that the fears of tomorrow will diminish, the blessed assurance is given that you are HIS and HE LIVES. Once the blessed assurance is known in prayer (through the confession of wanting salvation from one’s sinful nature, combine with admitting that JESUS CHRIST is LORD and believing in one’s heart that GOD raised HIM from the dead to deliver us from sin's guilt) the world can never take it away because the world didn’t give it to you.

But people blamed her drug use which caused her to turn back to drugs after she got clean and did that album. Y'all didn't gaf. Y'all talked about her, her ex, her children. It had to be hard. Even mariah don't sound the same after all these years. Gladys knight? Aretha Franklin? Chaka khan? None of them sounded the same after so many years but whitney got Hella hate. It's sad.

Nah, the public did nothing to her besides give her the life she lived because she provided them with music. Whitney was responsible for Whitney, as she was for her voice. She FORGOT which songs to sing at some points. She did a performance in the UK I remember think a year or so before she died. It was a plane crush. Before even the voice came into it. As much as voices change as one grows, but give Toni Braxton a mic and watch her take everyone to church. Whitney became the kind of famous which makes you delirious add drugs to tht and you have a disaster. Victim in all this was her child. She was the only victim.

And yes she was a victim herself. No one with a healthy family life and emotional stability turns to drugs like that even “just for fun”. There were MANY facets that led to her demise so to say it was just all her fault is kind of insensitive. Especially since it started in childhood (with her morher) she was groomed a certain way and she didn’t see herself highly at all.

People failed her and she lost her original sound thru some damaging choices during her times of struggle. BUT she was still herself, she always resurfaced. I think it's ridiculous, demanding and entitled for people to complain about her voice being different there at the end. People change-with or without drugs and alcohol, these same ppl would be complaining. It's disgusting. Whitney had kindness and love this world needed and her voice was a gift from God that she shared with us as well. Be thankful it was all recorded for us to continue to treasure!

I wish they both should have known that Diane Sawyer and her protégé Oprah are Snakes 🐍 that did not deserve the time of great artists like them. They boosted their status as interviewers by sitting down with these media leeches. I wish They DIDN'T .

Drugs is certainly the devil. My heart shatters when I watch Whitney like this. Whitney was such a good person. When did you ever see her being bad to people. Greatest singer of all time she was a good person who had an addiction. Plain and simple.

This is very sad, but the part where Bobby Christina said she wants to be like her mommy and daddy finally made me tear up. Because she ended up being like her mom, but not how she wanted 💔💔💔 poor baby.

That's the industry and mainstream media. With or without your consent they're going to make money off of your misery. Even with her usage she still trolled the shit out of them lol.

In this world, we like to condemn people, without knowing anything. Life is not good every day. Whitney has given us her extraordinary voice. At a high cost. RIP Whitney.
