Funny how Janine says he doesn't have a track record of success when he made it abundantly clear at the beginning of his pitch that he'd done $40,000 worth of sales in 3 months.
40k in 3m months it's barely 500 at day, not enough to say "my business worth 2m"
New products always have a bit of a honeymoon period, $40k in 3 months is a great effort but doesn’t give any true foresight into what future revenue could be. For me, 3 months simply isn’t long enough and $40k isn’t enough revenue to really gauge how successful this business could be.
track record for success include sustainability, not just initial growth. If thing is a fad, it'll fade right before you knew it. Remember those fidget spinners?

@@zdenek3010 The idea is adding it to a smoothie rather than measuring out the few different additives it contains. Not a bad idea for a fairly narrow market but most people would either not want to do the work of making the smoothie, or just be willing to measure out the additives.

The thing with smoothies is. It tastes great and is easy to drink, so obviously a lot of people like it. But if you're not chewing on something, your stomache doesn't get the signals to make the right juices to digest properly. It's not the ideal solution because of that.

As I watch the past Shark Tanks I wonder how all these companies went through the COVID19 economy hit of 2020.
Says wants people to get extra sleep and to forget cereal or toast. Toast or cereal would be faster then blending and then cleaning that up so I do not go for the sales pitch. Might be a good product but not faster then a regular continental breakfast.

I see the idea but to be honest slicing up bananas and strawberrys and pouring milk in a blender to then blend the drink its more work than pouring a bowl of cereal in my opinion.. You can get very healthy cereal nowadays with equal nutrition i bet. Plus cleaning the blender before you heqd out is more work than washing a bowl.

If I am too lazy to make a "real" smoothy, I'm also too lazy to make a smoothy lite and add this thing.
Very few people need protein supplements, they are a waste off money. For the best smoothie combine; frozen mango, chilled butter milk and ice cream

And the extra step is? Oh, it's the same as the current steps so it's more convenient in that it's BETTER (arguably) as it's not just a powder but actual food.
@@ross-carlson you still need a blender and additional ingredients, it looks like a weird bath bomb. You can’t just eat it out of the package. And you have to order it online and still shop separately for all the other components.
Better than powder??? Who makes smoothies with powder? This is still processed, just use fruit. I reckon that’s healthier than a shelf stable product.

There’s zero nutrition benefits or science to back these types of products. They’re pure fad. Half the banana with some kale and almond milk would be a million times healthier without the stupid ball of processed ingredients.. They don’t provide antioxidants, they definitely don’t cleanse (the green one). These products have already been debunked by science.
