Beautiful Village coverage. The old lady reminds me of my mother fifty years back when we were in Manchar, a village then (now it's a big town) in Pune district. Let's keep this heritage. No pollution, no disturbance, peaceful life with humble and clean heart villagers.
Thank you for your kind words! I agree, it is so beautiful and rare to see especially for those coming from town. Old Lady was so kind and happy to show us their process of making flour. It was wonderful experience. Glad to hear that it reminded you of your mother and hometown.
I am from a village in malenadu region ( Western ghat) of Karnataka. All villages in Western ghat region are beautiful. Rainfall is very high here. Evergreen forests, waterfalls, paddy fields, curvy roads are common. There are some tasty fruits we can't see anywhere in India but only in Western ghat region.
Oh that’s lovely to hear! I can totally understand villages in karnataka and especially in western ghat are so beautiful and filled with greenery. I never had chance to visit villages of Karnataka but hopefully in future will visit!

It is near Mumbai, easily available on Google. With regards to village tourism, it is always better to go with eco-tourism company for such experience as they work with village to promote tourism. I have mentioned the detail of Grassroutes, eco-tourism company, with whom I went to this village. They provide all the details and information for traveller like us to experience village life. I suggest to visit kokan villages too, you'll experience the real beauty of nature along with sea coast. Also, Villages near Kalsubai and harishchandragad wildlife sanctuary. I've been there many times through there for trekking. But you'll love sandhan vally. Asia's second larget valley near samrad village, about 200 kms more or less from mumbai.
