- Tarek and Christina bought a knackered, smelly house because they saw a lot of potential in it but when they start the flip, problems begin to reach the surface.

These houses make me angry... When ever I move I clean the heck out of a house and vacuum and dust everything
People die. People with cats die. The cats keep on living, and they keep on peeing.
I know they get some of these houses from foreclosure auctions as well
It's disgusting, I've never seen anything like it before.

I feel bad for the cats who had to live in that mess.
People, if your house is like this or if you're incapable of vacuuming weekly, do not have pets! If you can't clean a litter box daily or walk a dog daily, do not have those pets.
I'd much rather have a huge kitchen than a large bedroom. But I like to cook and I cook for a crowd every time.

@@erikadee8668 Literally zero jealousy here. Jealousy resides in a desire to have something I can't or resent someone for something I want. Neither is the case here. She could look fabulous in a pair of high end sneakers or boots and also cover her toes in what could be a potentially hazardous situation.

He’s definitely got a type, his ex wife looks so much like Heather! I’m sure her personality is completely different though. It’s good he still has a good relationship with his ex wife, it’s vital for his kids. First time watching this, impressive how quickly he can work out refurb pricing so quickly just walking around.

Christina would flip out if she saw my very "lived in" house with my kitties lying around. But there is definitely no poop on the floors. My felines don't think "out of the box".

I love this show, but I'm not sure I've ever seen an episode where I liked the exterior color. She seems to pick odd colors. The blue with a white door was "meh".
They should have spent the money to get a professional to rework the floorplan
@Audra Baldwin. Thank you !! Sixteen comments of praise and 👏 before your very practical observation. T&C were rushing to build in that extra bed and bath. IMO they could have created a smarter design and use of space in the same original footprint.
And spend money bye contracting an architect to design new plans..

It's in a crummy neighborhood. Are people that desperate for housing? OMG... it's still a shack. Staged with cheap trinkets from Home Goods.

So the bad part is, the price of contractor is usually lower because he works with him, like a standing go to contractor, but my dad flips houses and ive been to some where i walk in and immediately start gagging and one time i ran outside to vomit

Relocate the kitchen and make the kitchen and ensuite and make the nearest room a master suite

What is the best strategy When you have multiple offers how long do you wait for someone to seriously want the house.
They should be offering earnest money so accept the highest offer. You shouldn't wait in real estate.

A terrible, disaster house flipped into a little better looking house, yet that kitchen is way to small. Whoever buys it, they won't be able to have a big gathering in the small kitchen.

In my experience, a house that looks and smells like this was occupied by drug users/dealers. I hope they checked for meth use and the possible need for mitigation. Of course if they have to basically demo the whole thing that pretty much might take care of it.

I used to like Christina but I have noticed she seems to have a recent to cats. I hate that. Those houses that smells cat are from people not taking care of their cats. Cats doesnt smell. She likes dogs. Yeh the funny thing is cats smells so good when sniff on them but dogs smells discusting to be honest. I have nothing against dogs but I dont like their smell at all.
I agree about the cat and dog smells. It’s never the pets fault, it’s always the owner. And dogs can make a house smell bad as much as any cat whose owner doesn’t know how look after them. If dogs sleep on carpet for years and the carpet never gets cleaned, the smell will never come out.
