This is completely not useful. The link you gave in the description does not allow free subscription. After downloading the 3 GB software, it takes me to a page and requests for a payment. Nothing can be done without paying. This video seems to be like a promotional clip for that software : TEnorshare reiboot.

hi my grandma gave me an i pod touch because it woul turn on but only show the restart screen but every time i plug it in to my computer i tunes cant recognize the device and wont let me restart it tha manual resart doesnt work ither
press the top sound button and wake/sleep button at the same time it should go black and then later it will turn on and it may have slight lines on it showing but it’ll probably slowly go away if it doesn’t work get a professional
Thank you worked I had to tap on it plugged it in and hold home and power buttons until it connected to my laptop then did a update I’m back in business thanks again
Here's what they don't tell you. Do the restore process 10-20x because connection keeps getting lost, then on maybe the 21st try just keep it plugged in and wait. Mine finally just started to restore. I'm not a tech guru, but these folks on youtube could at least not make it seem so simple and state that it could take a very long time to restore.
