Thanks Michael! I didn't need a second Q, I was actually just looking for the portable cart, but the price was right (50 bucks!) That said, the 1200 is a fun little cooker, and it can't hurt to save a little bit of gas by using it when I don't need the space.
Thanks Brian! We really enjoyed this one. The aromas really carry (in a good way too)... my neighbors commented about smelling so good and tempting to me the next day:-)
Gochujang and honey sounds like a perfect sweet heat glaze! I love grilling shrimp, and am always surprised at how many people don’t try it on their grills.
It was soooo good. But ya I think people pass on grilling shrimp for two reasons 1) they are a pain in the ass to peel and skewer and 2) people are afraid to overcook them.
Great looking shrimp Jerry! That glaze sounds perfect, lil sweet n heat action going on there👍thanks for sharing brother, have a great weekend, you all stay safe!👍👊🍻
So? No more borrowing from the neighbors?? To me? Just one more reason to ask or rather to beg you to do more videos on the Weber q1200 ;-) (rather than the 2200) However: Your channel - your choice....
Well, the Q2000 was what I had when I started the channel. The Q1200 got added a little bit later when I found a good deal on Facebook Marketplace. Fortunately the cook time and method are more or less interchangeable between the two versions. These days I do cook on the Q1200 a lot more because it uses significantly less gas, unless there's a reason I need the increased grilling surface of the 2000.
Thank you
Lookin good on the Q Grill!
