It was entertaining lol, I liked it..... even if my first wheat vodka will not resemble this at all :) I think the props and the voice/accent made the video
I made this. I milled the wheat first to release the natural sugars and I didn't wash the wheat i left the natural yeast in the wheat. And it turned out great..
I appropriate your hard work.... Also your presentation is very good too.... The problem is your accent... I'm well known to ENGLISH but still can't understand some words u just said. It will be good for viewers if u add subtitles ti bottom... Thanks. Keep posting
Nice 👍I have read there are some infections that eat the alcohol formed by yeast and make vinegar if left too long, sometimes I grab things early maybe not so much alcohol but at least nothing goes wrong and flavour is good. I made a wild yeast starter from dried raisins to put in some grape juice for wine but ended up buying some red wine yeast. but that fermentation was to slow so I put in my wild yeast anyway and it turned out very tasty however I have since made that into the spirit because I don't like wine anyway and it's very good. Big bag of old flour that I want to make into vodka without making it into bread first but I can't find any recipe. Have you tried malting wheat I want to try that ..anyway hope you, your family are safe and house is still ok. Cheers 🥃🥃to Ukraine and peace
Abram Castillo just what I was thinking. The only thing he is fermenting is the sugar water. Think it would have come out better if he converted the starches in the grains to sugar. But like his still a lot... very simple.
this was very confusing specially with the translator,,this looked more like a sugar wash with some grain flavor, next time you need to crack the grain and boil to get more flavor but this is not real vodka because you did not use malted grain
Big fan sir....ur great......but I had some questions....did u use wheat or 🌽 at the end of the video u said u made a mistake by using wheat.....so pls clarify........and which Yeast did u use in this vodka.....or did u not use any Yeast.....
all wrong! not sugar, must use raw honey as it has enzyme in it but I use amyl while boiling the 2kg CRUSHED wheat via making the mash & I get close to 20% abv makes 18 litre of mash for distillation
I served in the international legion for defiance of Ukrainian. I'm going to use the resipies in the distilary im starting. Hope to make it back to UA some day. Lost my best friend who was KIA. I was to go see the legion memorial. We lost alot of brothers. Slava Ukraine Mean Orcs suck!?
I can't figure out how much of sugar do I need to add. I was trying even listening a Russian guy, what he was saying, but translator was talking over top of his words - voice, so I still didn't catch it, didn't hear clearly. So, How much of sugar you suppose to add to it ?
The wheat here using instead yeast. It calling " the wild yeast of wheat" Full name of this liquor is " the sugare moonshine on the wild yeast of wheat" or "Wild Sam"
This is so wrong - you must first malt the grain to convert the starches from the grain to simple sugars that could be fed to the yeast. Yeast does not "ferment" wheat directly, okay? So next time, Boris, don't bother with the wheat - you got it there really just for decoration, you are making a sugar moonshine anyway. Substitute wheat for more sugar, you will have better yield. Also, the batch on the left caught some wild stuff, possibly also mold, and looks really ready to be poured down the drain.
load of crap. U want 90%wheat to 10% barely cracked mash @ 67 Celsius, to covert starch to sugar ,sparge ,boil ,cool, ferment ,distilled, and filted through carbon ,and again and again till smooth as u like
I respect u take the time to put English in
Man, gets a good translator. I almost got cocaine with this recipe.
That's hilarious

Borat making moonshine love it
Great success
Your first batch was gelatinized because of starch in wheat. You should use wheat malt, so enzymes in malted wheat can break starch to sugar.
Very unique and informative
I don’t even know what’s going on right now
Vodka cucumbers and bread. Lovely fare. Add some Twarog and you can feel filled up food and drink wise!
I love vodka
Fascinating. I may have to try this. Thx.
very good
In this recipe, alcohol comes from sugar, not wheat. Much better is to converse starch in wheat thanks to malts or enzymes ( amylase ).
Dude I love your videos! Keep up the great world
Nice video..
Nice distilling setup...:)

Nice videos. If you can make "sugar wash" and distill it in pot still, that will be very interesting. Thank you.

@@Stewbphoto that vodka probably doesnt have any aroma since its made from sugar
@@Stewbphoto sugar shouldnt be used in real vodka
@@HaraldSjellose you must not know how this works... I'll let you try to make neutral spirits using only grain and be half as economically efficient.

I have a lot of mistakes to point out about this technique and even "wheat vodka" name. It's just sugar vodka with a wheat flavor. But ...

Yeah, the wheat is not really touched by the process ;-) You can notice it's mostly intact.
