Hauntingly elegantly beautiful.
I have anxiety to the point that I have panic attacks at times and with everyone being in mandatory lockdowns and such, Chillhop is an oasis.
It's so nice to see a community of awesome people such as yourselves. I hope everyone stays safe and healthy! 👍
Believe it or not:
I live in a community fully WITHOUT Corona - no restrictions- no masks- no tests - no vaccines.....and NONE OF US got sick even though we met with thousands of people within the community movement.......
Now we visit Croatia: and here NOBODY acts with or around Corona....
Fully normal life here
No isolation of people and minds
All healthy life and people.
Wake up, everyone.
Lockdowns kill souls and minds first.
Then economy.
Then people.
Just say NO - and LIVE 🙌💛
I hope you feel better and your anxiety is healing ❤️
Feels and sounds like the spirit of Iceland. Lovely indeed.
Nah, Iceland's not that boring.

10:40 this moment transported me into another world. A world from inside Eydís and the musicians' minds.
It looks like she put felt between the hammers and the strings. Such a beautiful muted haunting sound, especially when the strings come in.
Beautiful performance!!! Much respect to the engineers; this sounds amazing.
Yes, that is what she did, it really creates a beautiful sound! And the choice of an upright piano, and leaving the front exposed...all these contribute to that intimate, haunting expression.
From the first to the last note, BEAUTYFULL!!!!
I’m so glad I found this. It literally has been on my radio playing everyday. It gives me so much peace and calms down my inner child. It’s so good for cleaning or driving in my car. It’s really helped me get through a rough time of healing my trauma. Thank you for this beautiful healing music, this heavenly music. ❤️
@aimee I will be thinking of u when I am driving. I don't know what else to say😭.
@@lynnbrannan4578 thank you! I’m doing better. Some things take time.

"If God isn't real, then who made Eydís Evensen? Only heaven could conceive of someone so beautiful''
simply beautiful: a pure sense of calm, allowing for reflection and peace. I feel grateful to have found Eydis' music. I will be back to listen again and again.

Eydis takes me far away to a place in history I have never been , a large Victorian house with a ballroom ,grand chandeliers with walls adorned with tapestry, Memories of another . Beautiful music , Thank you .
I could collapse into the deepest, most healing sleep while listening to this music being performed.
Wow !!! wow... Greatest "stubleupon" of this 2021 by far.
so stunning! It is like listening to a stream running through a deep, dark wood...accompanied by the wind gently rustling through the leaves warmed by the glimpses of the sun peaking through ice white, puffy clouds
Thank you for this music, actually i'm stabilizing from an incurable celular disease, and I am leaving the hospital, already lying at home, and this helps me to heal.
Hello, I hope you are feeling better. I know we are complete strangers. For a real and true understanding of our amazing bodies, you might like to look at german new medicine- they have their own website...learningngm or something like that i omit the exact address...just in case. A new paradigm of our biological lives. I hope it ignites your curiosity and helps you, above all.
The beautiful older piano has such a wonderful look on its teeth as she caresses them. It looks so pleased to be a part of her performance, rightly so. Such beauty...
I love that it looks like the players on the strings are playing for the plants. Really one of the highlights of this already wonderful video.

Muchas gracias, es bellísimo
Just came across this today,,,, Christmas day 2021. What magic and beauty. Perfect after a stressful Xmas
Not sure how I found this, but I’m glad I did
one afternoon designing quietly with TH-cam in the background, my favorite music list, and suddenly a melody starts, and that melody goes on and on. And at minute 11:53 a voice, and I said I know her, I go to TH-cam and there she was, so magical and beautiful @GDRN, the main actress of the series "Katla" you have to see it. Now I'm back to work enjoying this masterpiece!
Wonderful music. I love listening. You get lost in the beautiful melodies and lovely harmonies.
so sad and melancholic yet by swimming inside this mood one discovers a certain beauty in the validation that it is a shared universal experience. Within works of art like this, it is the aloneness that connects us :) peace and prosperity. ✌️
beautifully said... we all share in our humanness even when we feel like the only ones... Music is here to connect us, the one thing that transcends all barriers
This music makes you forget about time. It immerses you in a parallel world. And there you are, you and the mystical sea of Iceland. Nothing else exists. Marvelous
Thought I would have a quick listen... 20 minutes later I sit stunned. Like so many other comments , it was just perfect timing in a chaotic time. Thank you for sharing.
Eydís Evensen you are so nice !
🙏💚 THANKSFULLY to ALL of you for contributing here to the Peace on Earth and in Universe ! ;-) I'm discovering you and I'm so glad of that ! This video should be listened by NPR Music for instance !! ;-) Again thanks a lot for those sounds full of Peace, Love, Harmony !!!🙏💚 Astrid (France)
GDRN is spectacular.... what an amazing song with her
The music is amazing but the visuals are equally striking. The lighting, calibration, camera operation, video processing, etc. Well done.
Nice looking plants, too.
I think its great how the woman on the piano knows all these songs and puts so much passion and heart into everything she does. Enjoyed this music very much so.
This is pure ethereal bliss -- such a magnificent gift from the precious soul of this truly special and wondrous musician. Like others, I have listened to this performance countless times since discovering it a week ago. There is such beautiful energy that flows from the beginning to the end. It leaves me calmed, inspired, soothed, comforted, transported, and deeply moved. Thank you so much, dear Eydís and KEXP, for sharing this with us all. You are treasures. ❤
I'm always impressed by the people who not only talented but also beautiful...
sounds like the soundscape to a beautiful fall day just as the seasons are changing and the cool air is finally blowing after a long summer :)
Music that heals the Soul.
Beauty and talent. There is no better duo ❤
So glad i found this
I found peace and meaning in this music. Beautiful, unreal and it gives me hope in this broken world.
I can't tell what's more beautiful: the music or the way they're performing it. Raw music flowing out of this performance you can almost touch it.
What a joy to find this beautiful song!
oh, her smile after each sound beauty...
Lush all around. Pianist, strings and singer x
The feelings you get from watching this performance is like watching a documentary. The raw expression of life and energy in this is incredible.
Yeah and then your boyfriend is completely void of being here and present.😔
This is astonishingly beautiful. Discovering this has made my day.
X2
She's mesmerizing! Couldn't take my eyes off her while she played. Really wonderful performance.
I see it's not only me. She's stunning.
It almost hit the neurons of my brain that were deprived of the versatility of the music these pieces of musical melodies consisted.
présence mélancolique et profonde et sensible
